Zoot Zoot Posted June 21, 2014 Report Share Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) OOC Due to the OOC and nonsense that overtook the previous thread and Tywin being wiped, the attack got removed as well at my request due to be unable to maintain a legitimate reason for a war after the whole Poland thing got retconned by the GM team. The RP will continue after Ukraine declares war on the Empire, but the attack has not taken place. Whilst Rota is correct that he did put in an OOC clause about the declaration, I do not recognise such things as legitimate. For reference, the new thread will pick up from this post http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?/topic/122444-crimea-river/?p=3272907 Which is Rotas last post, before New Babylon launched its attack. IC We request Ukraine establish with the Empire what exactly its claims are with the Black Sea territory and why we should remove ships from a sea we have every right to be in. The blockade is being maintained at this point to prevent Ukranian vessels going around the globe and interfering with other nations and other territories. However, considering the declaration of war against the Empire, now it is simple a case of choking Ukraine into a bloodless surrender, unless of course, Ukraine has an offer that the Empire cannot refuse?" Hungary-Slovakia takes its treaties and commitments very seriously and does not and will not back down from them under any circumstances. Its words are now simply threatening the balance between Ukraine and Babylon and suddenly we are less inclined to find a compromise which allows peace to reign and the blockade to end. To Ukraine, we will not meet in a CDT or neutral country. We will be happy however, to host a video meeting between our representatives to hear what you have to say. However we do come the issue of why Ukraine is seemingly claiming the entire Black Sea and demanding we leave a body of water that we have a significant coastline in, not to mention the duty to uphold and defend Imperial territory." The line would go dead. Not long after, a company of guardsmen and four tanks would arrive outside of the Ukranian embassy demanding that they surrender into Imperial custody for the duration of the war or be destroyed.
