Four active events

asterisk_red.gifThe frequency of receiving an event has been toned down. The odds of receiving an event drop to 7% after the first event, 3% after two events, and 0% after three events. Those nations with 4+ events since the re-release of events last month will have those events remain active in the game until they expire.

Same thing happened to me, I had 4 events up until one expired on the 17th, I believe.  Didn't know there was a supposed limit.  I assume the 0% is actually something slightly more than 0%, like a fraction of 1% maybe?

If the odds of getting a 4th event were nonzero, it would be extremely unlikely for nobody to get any 4th events for 6 years, and then multiple people getting 4 or more within days of each other. And extremely coincidental that they started occurring almost immediately after new events were added.

And then there's the fact that it's quite easy to create a randomizer with a guaranteed 0% chance (or to just not run the randomizer at all) so if the 4th event chance is nonzero, then admin either lied for 6 years or is using some absurdly convoluted, unnecessarily complex broken code. These all happened after TE events got turned off.

 

I'm not a scientist, but I think the natural conclusion is if you were playing TE they wouldn't have happened.
