Of Interviews

While many will find the NSF/Guinness-LT skirmish incredibly irrelevant, I take a certain interest in micro-drama. For one, it's not as well-organized and therefore is much less predictable than the annual slugfest of giants. It also comprises more interesting characters, as they're generally more willing to step out on a limb. There are obvious exceptions to this rule among large alliances (see: BiPolar) but for the most part, global wars are fairly scripted.

I decided to grant a request for an interview to put some light on the issue. Below is my (fairly short and bland) interview with Guinness's former Chancellor of Foreign Affairs and current Chancellor of Defense.

17:42 ReychardSherman Hi, Rey here, representing whatever publication I'm just now making up
17:43 allenkalashnikov_ Welcome I am gad to be here.
17:45 ReychardSherman So, I'm taking it that as Guinness's Chancellor of Defense, you'd know quite a bit about the situation with Lavender Town. Would you mind going into detail?
17:45 ReychardSherman I haven't paid much attention to the situation at all.
17:47 allenkalashnikov_ Yes I was the Chancellor of State (FA) for the first 2 raids, and after I was elected as the CoD we were raided a 3rd time. The first time LT raided us they called it "Grey Hat" testing and then agreed to stop raiding us. We accepted the agreement and moved on. A week later for whatever reason they striked us again.
17:48 ReychardSherman Indeed, I was told their were three raids. Could you expand on what "Grey Hat testing" means, or did they not give an explanation?
17:49 allenkalashnikov_ We resulted to calling in NSF and Atlas to helping to find a lasting solution. We reached another agreement and we moved on yet again. Then on the 1st we were attacked. They claimed it was an accident with their war against Grey Council and that our newest member (who was the one hit) was GC at the time of war start. Which was incorrect he was AB.
17:53 ReychardSherman Interesting.
17:54 ReychardSherman How ready for this skirmish would you say Guinness is?
17:54 ReychardSherman As I threatened to rogue them over Vosegus's careless words and wound up receiving 100 tech in exchange for the safety of two nations.
17:54 allenkalashnikov_ Not as ready as we wished but still very capable to handle this, as the NS screens show.
17:55 ReychardSherman heh, well, the NS screens could change easily if you don't have warchests; then again, NSF also is involved.
17:56 ReychardSherman If I may ask, what was the rationale in calling them in so early?
17:59 allenkalashnikov_ The initial plan was a retaliatory raid on LT, made jointly by NSF and Guinness forces. However LT has decided to push for a war and we posted a RoH and here we are.
18:00 ReychardSherman That's certainly more aggressive than I would have been, heh.
18:00 ReychardSherman I suppose it's fair, though!
18:00 ReychardSherman Thanks for your time.

I quite enjoyed this interview, you should probably do more with other people involved in that conflict.

I thought about asking if you wanted one just to provide perspective, but then thought that I just honestly don't feel like doing another.

Wouldn't that make you a biased reporter, Rey?

I never claimed to be otherwise :V

Actually, my first post in the other thread was (to memory, so paraphrasing in all likelihood) "Wreck em Franz" so I lean towards Franz's side.

Incompetency, Looking for a reaction, wrong, and fighting for relevancy,.. This looks like an official fox news interview.

Fox News exists in my nation.

Basically you wrote an introduction then posted logs

he's got a point - you should have included at least one made up chart with intangible crap on it to prove you're serious about this.

Sorry, I did make the chart but forgot to include it. As the OP's already been seen, I'll just leave it here:

As you may have noticed, the war length may seem to have little to no effect on Tywin's intelligence. However, if you look closely, the "T.L. IQ" actually has a slight downward angle. Tywin's IQ will go below zero sometime soon. Edited by Neo Uruk

No no, it's actually an asymptote, the war length stretches to infinity as Tywins intelligence approaches zero.

We're all doomed to infinite war :(
