There are many, MANY ideas going around about forming all sorts of different political parties, but it is still anyone's guess which ones will actually be formed. Some of the proposed parties include: Communist parties, Socialist parties, Labor parties, Workers parties, Conservative parties, Liberal parties, Nationalist parties, Socialist Democratic parties, Green parties, Centrist parties, Marxist parties, Federalist parties, Christian Democratic parties, Progressive parties, People's parties, Democratic Labor parties, Populist parties, Capitalist parties, Constitution parties, Libertarian parties, Radical parties, Neo-Conservative parties, Paleo-Conservative parties, Protectionist parties, and even Revolutionary parties. There has even been talk of a political party modeled after a past American President's--John Quincy Adams-- policies, that they have learned about. (Nationalist, neutral, non-interventionalist, non-entanglement). All of this is still just ideas, ideals, discussions, and conjecture being floated around by excited and eager Hungarian citizenry, though. There is still much work that remains to be done. There is also much talk going around about what should be written into Hungary's new Constitution. Once the President and Legislature has been elected, they will appoint a Constitutional Committee to discuss and draft Hungary's Constitution, which will then be put before the Hungarian citizen in a special vote. Euphaia Posted May 26, 2014 Author Report Share Posted May 26, 2014 Another one of the biggest debates going on between the citizenry, as well as the interim provisional government of Hungary, is whether their new government should be in the form of a legislature, or in the form of a parliament. While there are valid points and pros and cons on both sides of the debate, it will still be up to the Constitutional Committee that will be appointed in a few weeks, to decide in the end. Only the Hungarian ambassadors to those three nations, the ambassadors' security staff, and around 100 brave Hungarian foreign nationals remain there. Those that chose to remain have been instructed to stay indoors as much as possible, and while the provisional government does sympathise with Hong Kong and Taiwan, absolutely no Hungarian travelers or foreign nations are allowed to participate in any protests, mobs, riots, resistance, or violence. Euphaia Posted May 27, 2014 Author Report Share Posted May 27, 2014 During this time of increased tensions, aggression, and political saber-rattling, the government of Hungary graciously and benevolently offers the currently government-less and military-less nation of Slovakia the safety and security of being a Hungarian protectorate, until such time as the Slovakia populace is able to elect it's own government, and either opts to become part of Hungary or requests a referendum to become independent, at which time the Hungarian government will freely and gladly allow it to have one. Hungary has no plans or any desire to occupy Slovakia, we only wish to offer security and protection in the form of a protectorate. Unless there is any legitimate reason as to withdraw our offer, it is Hungary's hope that the international community will be understanding and amenable to our purely benevolent, well-meaning, and well-intentioned offer. The big three "first" parties have turned out to be the Communist Party of Hungary, the Social Democratic Party of Hungary, and the Capitalist-Conservative Party of Hungary (created with the merging of the Capitalist Party and the Conservative Party). The leaders of the three parties are: Communist Party of Hungary - Nikola Erdos Social Democratic Party of Hungary - Dana Caspari Capitalist-Conservative Party of Hungary - Rikard Beres Some notable "third" parties that have begun to form are the Federalist Party of Hungary, Jefferson Party of Hungary (inspired by past American president Thomas Jefferson, and his philosophy and policies), Adams Party of Hungary (inspired by past American president John Quincy Adams, and his philosophy and policies), Libertarian Party of Hungary, Green Party of Hungary, Nationalist Party of Hungary, the Liberal Democratic Party of Hungary, the People Worker's Party of Hungary, and the Marxist Party of Hungary. Hungarian elections for both the President/Prime Minister and (what is likely to be decided on) the Hungarian National Parliament, are set for seven days from today. The Capitalist-Conservative party is coming in second so far, at 18%, while the Social Democrats are in third in pre-election polls, coming in at 17%. The Monroe Party, which was formed over the assertion that a doctrine similiar to the Monroe Doctrine should be enforced in Europe, has swept most of the undecided, Nationalist, Worker's, Marxist, Libertarian, and Constitutional voters in the latest pre-voting polling, as well as some of the voters from the Green, Liberal Democratic, Federal, and Jefferson pollsters. Even some of the pollsters who indicated they would vote for one of the big three first-parties have since swung behind the newly formed Monroe Party. The Monroe Party has overtaken the Social Democrats in third place, with 16% of those polled. The Social Democrats have dropped to fourth place, from 17%, down to 13%. The Monroe Party's main platform has been stated as: The occasion has been judged proper for asserting, as a principle in which the rights and interests of Hungary-Slovakia are involved, that the European continent, by the free and independent condition which it has assumed and maintained, is henceforth not to be considered as subjects for future colonization by any foreign powers. We owe it, therefore, to candor and to the amicable relations existing between Hungary-Slovakia and those powers, to declare that we should consider any attempt on their part to extend their system to any portion of this hemisphere as dangerous to our peace and safety. with the Governments who have declared their independence and maintained it, and whose independence we have, on great consideration and on just principles, acknowledged, we could not view any interposition for the purpose of oppressing them, or controlling in any other manner their destiny, by any foreign power in any other light than as the manifestation of an unfriendly disposition toward Hungary-Slovakia. Moving up to a close second, is the Monroe Party, with 19% of those polled. The Capitalist-Conservative Party has moved down to third place, at 17% of those polled. Euphaia Posted June 10, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 10, 2014 Public Per the recent agreement between Hungary and Slovakia, the two nations have agreed to formally merge into one Hungary-Slovakian nation together, and Slovakia has agreed to make several of their current Slovakian military bases into Joint Military bases. 60,000 Hungarian troops have today begun to move into the jointly-shared military bases in Slovakia. Euphaia Posted June 10, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 10, 2014 (edited) In the last pre-voting poll to be released before elections tommorow, the Communist Party remains in first place by a slight lead of 0.5%, with 20.5% of those polled The Monroe Party remains in a very close second, at 20% of those polled.The Social Democrats have moved up to third place, at 17.5% of those polled. The Capitalist-Conservative Party has dropped to a very close fourth place, at 17% of those polled. If this pre-vote poll holds true at elections tommorow, it is widely expected that the Communist, Monroe, and Social Democrats will form a coalition government together, and the Capilast-Conservative Party will lead the Oppossition, with it widely believed that they will be joined in the Opposition by the Adams Party, Libertarian Party, and Green Party. Tommorow's voting outcomes will also determine the make up of the Constitution Committee, with it having being agreed to that the top three parties will each have two representatives appointed to the Constitution Committee, and the parties in 4th through 6th place each getting one representative in the Constitution Committee. The remaining parties will decide amongst each other who will get the last remaining two seats on the Constitution Committee. Nikola Erdos of the Communist Party of Hungary, with said party coming in first place in the election, is hereby the Prime Minister of Hungary-Slovakia. Hungary-Slovakia is a democratic republic, and the Hungarian-Slovakian populace has democratically chosen the Communist Party to represent them. While no decisions have yet been made, the discussions included: 1. farmers' co-ops 2. collective farms & agricultural collectivization 3. government subsidized bread, eggs, milk, water, and gas. 4. Price caps on food, gas, oil, and pharmaceuticals. Price caps have been suggested anywhere from $10 to $125 for pharmaceuticals, with the option for a tiered price cap having also been discussed. The discussion has ranged from allowing anywhere from 20 Forints to 5,000 Forints per person to be donated, whether that limit should be per every six months or per year, and rather businesses and unions should be allowed to donate to election campaigns or not. Further being discussed is voting rights. Among the options being discussed is: males only, males and females, voting at age 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, or 30. Hungary-Slovakia has also banned and put an embargo on trade with Hawaii. In other news, Hungary-Slovakian Prime Minister Nikola Erdos has sent a diplomatic request to the Yugoslavian government to extradite a Yugoslavian Major General, whose name is currently being withheld from the public, after a lead investigator in the investigation of the assassination of a Hungarian government official has implicated the Yugoslavian Major General as the ring leader in the assassination conspiracy. This bill includes a provision to re-examine this bill in 12 months; or as early as six months, if a required 3/5 vote by parliament is successful.
