Wehrmacht doctrine has been updated. Churches and other religious structures are considered free to fire on and search if there is a suspicion of enemy fighters and equipment inside. The minute a holy site is used to combat against the Alvonian Wehrmacht and people, it is no longer a safe zone and can be destroyed or searched at will. The same applies to other civilian buildings - the minute hostile forces occupy it or use it to store equipment that can be used against Alvonia, it is no longer a civilian target and can be fired upon.

The Wehrmacht's latest recruitment drive has put the Wehrmacht at 342,320 total soldiers. The 14,090 new recruits will be placed into the 14. Infanterie-Division, which will act as a reserve unit until it can be brought up to full strength. This new division, like the 13. Infanterie-Division before it, will have an organic complement of PzH 2000, Flakpanzers and Raketenartilleriepanzers.

Snow Haven in Anarchy - Wehrmacht Moves to Mobilize

The Wehrmacht reports today that it has mobilized the 14. Infanterie-Division and 1. Panzer-Division, along with an unnamed amount of Schwarze Korps soldiers, to the former lands of Snow Haven to prevent anarchy and stop ultranationalism from spreading.

"Greater Romania hereby warns Alvonia to cease actions in former Snowhaven, lest it wants to experience the consequences of its behaviour. We are unwilling to tolerate Alvonian crusades against 'ultranationalism', a rethoric already used in the past to mask nothing else than Alvonian aggression towards its neighbours, most notably Brandenburg. Greater Romania, together with its valian allies in the Coalition has not forgotten what we fought for in our most recent war, and we would hope, neither have you."

-Mihaela Constante, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greater Romania

Remaining Romanian troops in western Hungary would start to dig provisory field fortifications and prepare the fields, as plans were drawn up to deploy the entire II. Romanian Army, in its full strength of 22 divisions to the Hungarian border. These plans would be forwarded to Budapest, for the Magyars to approve, however, before such massive troop movements could be initiated.

Hungary-Slovakia warns against the harming, detaining, or arresting of any Hungarian foreign nationals in Snowhaven, under the guise of "ultra-nationalism", as there are no Hungarian ultra-nationalists.

Any such arrests or mistreatment of Hungarian foreign nationals will be viewed as an act of hostility against Hungary-Slovakia.

:Diplomatic Cable to Alvonia:

"In the interest of fostering positive relations between our two nations, and due to a particular skill set the Imperium has gained through its own incorporation of territories, we'd like to offer assistance in your protection of former Snow Haven, a team of approximately 30 operators is en route to Alvonia to assist in working with specific elements of the former Snow Haven's population to ensure stability and peace within the region."

It was a lie of course, the team had every intention of setting up separatist groups within the region to ensure chaos was all that the Italans met. The team was made up of white Imperium citizens, small in number the small population was useful for operations such as this, fluent in German, Italian, and French, they would set to work searching for those interested in their cause. Upon landing in Alvonia they would make their way into Snow Haven in civilian vehicles, including several trucks filled with small arms, (majority of them AK-104s taken from Russian Empire supplies, with all identifying marking removed, at minimum 50 Bizon SMG, 50 PP-2000, 50 Vityaz-SN, along with a dozen 9M133 Kornet systems with spare ammo for all of the aforementioned weaponry.) along with documentation that made them appear to be Snow Haven citizens. Once within Snow Haven they would begin communications with the locals, and seek out those with similar ideals.

The following divisions would deploy to the Hungarian-Czech border.

Eighth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Land Divisions

First Ballistic Missile Division

Eight, Tenth, Eleventh Air units

57,000 reservists

The ballistic missile launchers would maintain a distance of 100km from the Alvonian border. The rest of the troops would set themselves up near the border, in case certain fourth reich wannabes caused trouble. On a somewhat related note, the Hungarian beer industry would receive a huge jump in profits, although some areas would experience chronic shortages of alcohol.

Any attempts to force the Wehrmacht to cease her legal and rightful campaign against ultranationalism will be met with the full force of the Wehrmacht and Alvonian State. The Wehrmacht's mission in Snow Haven is to protect the area from foreign aggression, imperialism and of course ultranationalism, which has obviously taken hold in Romania. Mark my words - Snow Haven will not be annexed into Alvonia. If the Eastern Bloc wants to fabricate another war, they are free to do so, but will have to face the full strength of the Wehrmacht.

All Wehrmacht personnel were mobilized and put on high alert, while artillery-hunting systems in Vienna were turned online. Snipers and machine gunners watching over the border minefields made themselves scarce and camouflaged their positions. The Marines in Koper were ordered to head to Alvonia proper through Yugoslavia along with their armor complement, with notice given to Yugoslavia notifying them of the movements and their intentions. All soldiers were ordered into NBC gear, excluding snipers who were to wear only gas masks where possible. All missiles were ordered to standby for launch in case of strategic threats.

"Alvonia's words count for little, so we judge you based on actions, not words. Romania has not seen any presence of ultranationalists and we believe there is no threat from such. No evidence supports your claim of their presence and we see no reason why this task cannot be left to the Cisalpine Republic and Saxony. We warn you hereby one last time to withdraw from former Snowhaven, or armed action will be taken to remove the offensive capability of your country once and for all. There will be no further warnings."

The full II. Romanian Army would be deployed to western Hungary, in order to prepare for operations against Alvonia. Aircraft and missiles at home would be prepared, for it seemed, the Alvonians would need to be once more shown where their borders were.

Private to Northlands

"Following our treaty with the Northlands, we hereby seek consultations with you, given recent Alvonian incursions into Switzerland, which is already administered by Saxon and Cisalpine forces. Citing their usual reasoning of ultranationalism, Alvonia has it seen fit to once more infringe upon its neighbours in what is a thinly veiled quest for expansion of Alvonian land and influence. We would like to request the position of the Northlands on the matter. Additionally, we are hereby informing you, that Greater Romania, together with the Eastern Bloc, has resolved to remove Alvonian presence from Switzerland by force, should it not withdraw voluntarily within the coming days. These actions will not be accompanied with territorial losses for Alvonia, may however see a disarmament of the Wehrmacht and other armed forces, as well as a regime change, as the Bloc is unwilling to trust the Alvonian state any further. As however the Bloc seeks not to infringe upon Alvonian sovereignity more than is necessary to de-Wilding-fy the country and remove its offensive capabilities, and we seek not to install a puppet government, the Northlands can feel free to cooperate in this issue. Naturally, stronger measures will be taken, should Alvonia resort to the usage of unconventional warfare and/or weapons of mass destruction."

Within the coming hours, plans would be worked out, in order to intervene against Alvonia. While the Army deployed its troops, the Siguranța would start to draw up plans to rid the country of the Wilding government and its followers.

Messages would be sent to inform Budapest, Minsk and Prussia of the preparations, and, appealing to the common objectives of the first coalition, asked for the coalition to once more come together to curb Alvonia.

"This comes across as a somewhat jarring return to Alvonian Imperialism of old - was it not the very same fake claims of Ultranationalism used to invade Brandenburg? Come now, we are in the twenty-first century and are not to be like our flagrantly aggressive ancestors. We will not tolerate this Alvonian intervention."

With the increasing tensions, the Preußische Marine and Preußische Luftstreitkräfte have been put to high alert. Ships and planes will all be fuelled and fully equipped with personnel ready and available to sortie at a moment's notice. The Königlich Preußische Armee would have 300,000 troops mobilised to the West of the country, and ready to secure the border if needed.

And here it was again.  All threats seemed to go back to Alvonia endlessly.  Since the extraordinary rudeness that the Alvonians had demonstrated to the British, and what seemed like an endless wave of provocations to their neighbors.  The British had come more and more to the opinion that biting the bullet to destroy Alvonia's ability to influence events beyond its borders was worth doing.  Some Neo-Cons at Chatham house were even calling for outright regime change, though they still occupied a minority in British policy making circles.

Britain sides with her friends in the Eastern Bloc.  These attempts at creating false casus belli and framing extremist groups in order to justify invasions are not clever nor are they new.  History is riddled with bad mustachioed men and shirtless tiger wrestlers who tried to do the same thing.  Each time there was a failure not to take sufficient action.  This shall not be the same again.  The British People stand ready to respond and stop what is a seemingly endless strain of aggression from Alvonia.

The Royal Navy's fleets were put to sea while the British Special Signals section began the preparation for what was decided to be a if necessary unilateral British punitive expedition to destroy Alvonia's ability to raise armies.

Seeing an apparent calm in the situation being handled by Saxony and the Republic, Wehrmacht forces would withdraw without fanfare or public announcement, although intelligence specialists disguised themselves in civilian clothes and stayed behind with their equipment to give the BND real-time updates on the situation and monitor actions taken by both sides.

To demonstrate a point, all Tu-95MS planes were mobilized and sent to the air with necessary escorts, each loaded with 15,000 kg worth of Kh-555 missiles. For now, they would stay in Alvonian airspace and be refueled occasionally. Every so often, the odd A-10A squadron could be seen flying near the border, careful to stay inside Alvonia.

"These troops will stay in position until we deem it prudent to withdraw them. They are in position due to Alvonian aggressive action, further such action in form of precision strikes will be seen as aggression against the Bloc and will be responded to with a recognition of hostilities and a full-scale military strike against Alvonia, to remove your threat to our nations and our people. Have a nice day."

Without further reports of alvonian military incursion into Switzerland, the immediate plans of a strike would be put to rest, though, they would not go to the archive. Rather, the general staff would keep them at hand, given alvonian threats now directly to the Bloc. While the generals worked out what to do, the soldiers in the field would start to dig in their towed artillery and the anti-air brigades would start setting up missile batteries, multiple radars, with more radars in reserve and some anti-air artillery. Fighters from the Ardeal would fly frequent patrols now, with long-range cruise missiles being prepared to strike Alvonia yet again, should it try to actually harm the Bloc.

In light of the recent Alvonian threats, the Belarusian Military would move a battalion of S-300 favorit systems into Hungary from Poland. The Belarusian Air Force would go on high alert, with Su-30MKI and MiG-29m fighters patrolling the border. MiG-31BM interceptors would be located deeper in Hungarian terriotry, and would prepare to use their long-range missiles in case Alvonia went full retard. Belarusian ground forces would be ordered not to cluster, and would be heavily camoflauged.

Though we recognize that Alvonia has removed its forces from Smowhaven, we strongly warn Alvonia against making offensive threats towards Hungary-Slovakia or any Eastern Bloc members. Any attack would be dealt with as an attack on Hungary-Slovakia proper and as an attack on the Eastern Bloc as a whole.

We will withdraw our forces once we have been satisfied that Alvonia no longer poses a threat to Snowhaven or to Hungary-Slovakia."

Alvonia's threats in response to what is very acceptable and customary laws are growing intolerable. It is time Alvonia show sincere
signs if good faith lest war with Alvonia appear simply inevitable and all necessary and appropriate measures be taken.

“The government of Zapadnaya expresses our profound concern regarding the situation. The public statements from the government of Alvonia relating to this matter are also of significant concern and are rather alarming.”-Foreign Minister Ivo Draganov

Private Diplomatic Message

To: Her Excellency Karoline Dressler, Head of Government, Alvonia

Fr: Paskal Dragomirov, President, Zapadnaya

In light of the actions of the government of Alvonia in Snowhaven, when viewed in the context of those prior actions that the government of Zapadnaya has expressed concerns about during prior consultations, we have reached the conclusion that the Alvonia-Zapadnaya Optional Defense Pact is no longer in the best interests of the government or people of Zapadnaya.

Therefore, under the terms of Article 3 of the Optional Defense Pact, this hereby serves as official notification of our intent to cancel the Pact. As specified in the terms of the pact, the cancellation will take place after the passage of twenty-four hours from receipt of this message. There will be no further diplomatic communication from our government regarding the cancellation of the pact.

Hungary-Slovakia calls on Alvonia to de-escalate tensions and demobilize along the Hungary-Alvonia/ Hungary-Czech border, except for its normal peace-time allotment of border guards, which we ask not to exceed 500 border guards.

Hungary-Slovakia and it's Eastern Bloc partners will remove the remainder of there soldiers, armor, and artillery, once Alvonia has done the following:

1. Removed and stood down all soldiers currently on the border.
2. Keeps only up to 500 border guards on the border.
3. Removed all minefields on the border, as they are a risk to the safety of civilians.
4. Move all strategic bombers to at least 100 km from the border.
5. Move all missile launchers, rocket launchers, artillery, and armor to at least 100 km away from the border.

As a gesture of goodwill and good faith in Alvonia's demobilization of the border, Hungary-Slovakia has just stood down 1,000 of our own soldiers from the border to 100 km away from the border. The rest of our soldiers, as well as our artillery, will be stood down and moved at least 100 km away from the border, and our DEFCON brought to 4, once Alvonia's forces have themselves been stood down and have left the border.

The exception being our normal, peacetime border guards which will not exceed 500 border guards during peacetime.

These terms will not be agreed to for the following reasons:

1. No Wehrmacht personnel will be demobilized until such time as we no longer feel threatened by Eastern Bloc invasion.

2. All border guards are necessary on the border to prevent and stop illegal arms, narcotics, human, and other illicit goods trade and trafficking.

3. Minefields are only planted on the Alvonian side of the border and pose no risk to civilians if they stay on their side of the border.

4 and 5 are rejected on the basis that moving these assets 100 km away from the border, which would place all of said assets across Austria, would leave Vienna totally undefended. If we are to do so, we expect all Eastern Bloc nations to equally leave their capitals undefended.

Let us not forget it was you and your allies that brought this tension. We moved on a noble and justified cause - a cause which you may disagree with, but justified nonetheless - and it was the Eastern Bloc that threatened war. You are a collection of warmongers and fear machines, and we will not falter under your threats.

As I have stated, Hungary-Slovakia is fine with Alvonia keeping up to 500 border guards at the border.

We have also in good faith moved 1,000 soldiers 100 km from the border and told them to Stand down.

If it will help ease Alvomia, we will stand down another 1,000 soldiers from the border, for a total of 2,000. The next move must come from Alvonia.

Further, we have given Alvonia all assurances that once they have demobilized, the Eastern Bloc will follow suit.

Once all Alvonia forces, EXCEPT for the allowable 500 border guards, on the Hungary-Czech and Hungary-Alvonia border , and all armor, artlllery, and launchers have been stood down and withdrawn by Alvonia from those particuliar borders, Hungary-Slovakia personally assures Alvonia all Hungary-Slovakia armor, artillery, and soldiers on the border will be stood down and withdrawn, and that we will cancel the mobilization authorizations with Belarus and Romania. But that will happen only after Alvonia has done its part.

We believe our requests to be fair and reasonable to both sides involved.

We now ask Alvonia to act in good faith and in the interests of peace and stability, just as Hungary-Slovakia has.

Leaving all your artillery, soldiers, and launchers at the border, aimed directly at us, will only increase tension and instability, not decrease it.
