Zoot Zoot Posted July 13, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 13, 2014 Classified As the final territorial arrangements were made with Sparta, all military units garrisoned in Cyprus would be removed and re-deployed back to the Empire, all sensitive information was destroyed. Likewise, all Imperial forces based in the Aegean region would begin moving northwards into Marmara to take up their new bases as other units moved eastwards back to their original bases. Marmara itself had nearly completely assimilated into the Empire as it now had its own law enforcement, health services and education system. Zoot Zoot Posted July 13, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 13, 2014 Classified The Black Sea Expeditionary Strike Group and CVBG Imperial Prerogative have been put to sea in the Black Sea following rising tensions between its ally Alvonia and several other European powers. Significant aerial units would be re-deployed to the region to bolster existing squadrons, including both B-2 squadrons. Military forces in Anatolia would be brought to a higher state of alert and a general mobilization would take place in the region. The final force disposition in Anatolia would be in the form of the 5th Army, with other army groups having returned to their original positions elsewhere in the Empire. On arrival, it would establish short term, temporary military bases in the region to house the men and vehicles. They would not move within fifty miles of the border. The 7th corps would form five division sized formations and begin to concentrate twenty miles from the Belarus border along the front. The 8th Corps would re-deploy south and begin concentrating in the enclave of Muscovian territory along the Ukranian/Belarussian border. The 3rd Army which was based in the Caucasus would also begin moving north into Muscovy and began concentrating as the 5th and 6th Corps along the Ukrainian border. All military formations not currently involved in the war against Milan were raised to a war footing and prepared to defend the Empire. The nuclear stockpile in the process of being decommissioned would be returned to active duty and silos would once again return to a full level of readiness. The Custodes being the elite bodyguard of the Emperor. A second C-5 would follow, within it was the complex life support mechanism known as the Golden Throne. Both planes would make their way to Iceland, touch down and relocate to a pre-set location, isolated from the islands population. Public Announcment The Babylonian Empire is no more. The Holy Emperor has left us into self imposed exile to live out what is left of his most revered life free of the burdens of his throne. At this current point in time, all abroad military forces have been recalled to the Empire proper and all ground military forces within the Empire have placed the state under Martial law to protect and defend the former Imperial citizens until such a time that a new Government is ready to take the reigns of the territory formerly known as the Empire. All outstanding debts have been paid, all nuclear weapons have been disarmed, dismantled and safely disposed of. All samples of biological weapons used for vaccination purposes have been destroyed and the only weaponry is now held by the military forces in the former Imperial provinces to ensure the stability of the region. If people wish to retcon my actions against Milan, that it their decision to make, but as it stands, all forces have been stood down and returned home as described above. I am re-rolling to Iceland, but not ready to give up my characters yet, so thats a brief explanation of the relocation of the Imperial family.
