Enraged Nation

 

News that the French News networks had falsely made up the story about the Queen being pregnant, had put the Sverige Public in an uproar at the insult and lie to them. All over the nation enraged people voiced their discontent towards these actions made by the French Government for allowing such news to be posted in the first place. This of course adversely effected public opinion of the Queen due to her being French herself. Still no one could seem to get in touch with the King, but some photos circulated of him walking through the garden of his estate with military officials while walking his Wolf-Dog.

Military Expansion

 

With the recent influx of population of the Kingdom of Sverige due to heavy investments into industrializing the nation, the military opened up a recruitment drive to recruit another 100,000 soldiers into the Sverige Defense Force. A new Battle Group would be created called Freki Battle Group. 25,000 men from the Battle Groups, Fenrir, Ragnarok, and Nordic would be placed into this new Battle Group, and 25,000 of the new recruits would be placed into it to be brought to full strength. The open positions in the older Battle Groups would be filled with the new recruits to bring them back to full strength.

Divorce

 

Despite the ongoing war in Europe, the domestic problems at home and the great distances between the King and Queen of Sverige, a well as the lack of a child has come to an end with King Karl Gustaf officially declaring the marriage coming to an end and has already signed papers to begin the process of divorcing Queen Cloe de LaQueu. As part of the separation the King has promised to uphold the treaty with France until the end of the current war that is starting to engulf the world, as well as pay an undisclosed sum of money to Cloe de LaQueu for her time and troubles with having moved to Sverige and for all the help she had done for the nation as her time as Queen. During the private interview he was shown to be very unhappy about things having to turn out the way things were and he wishes the French Princess all the well and hopes she has a long and fulfilled life of happiness. She would always be welcome to stay in Sverige and would be given an estate outside of Malmo so that she would always have a place to go to visit any of her friends in Sverige.

Increased Mechanization

 

The Sverige Military Defense Budget with its increased funding had decided to increase all armaments of all existing Battle Groups. Stridsvagn 122's would be increased to a 1,000, Stridsvagn 103's would be increased to 750. As part of the increased mechanization and mobility warfare doctrine three new vehicles would be added. The first of these to be added would be the reintroduction of the [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bandkanon_1]Gungnir[/url]. The Thunder of these Guns would be once more added to the Sverige Military, and their righteous fury would be known by any enemy that dared to cross the Sverige. 500 would be added to each existing Battle Group. The second introduction would be to provide an armored troop carrier to allow for large groups of troops to be put into combat zones, and to pull out wounded without fear. This weapon would be called [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patria_Pasi]Sleipnir[/url]. It would have a rotating turret equiped with a 12.7mm Heavy Machine Gun, and built on the XA-185 Model. Each existing Battle Group would be equipped with 1,000 of these machines to help transport troops.

 

The final vehicle to help move large bodies of troops would be a construct and marriage of Sverige Military idea and thought. They would take a [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvo_FH]Volvo FH[/url] that would tow a trailer designed to carry large bodies of troops. The Body of the Volvo FH would be armored up to protect from shrapnel and small arms fire, with bullet proof glass. The Trailer would be armored for the same purpose, with gunports that could be opened by troops inside to provide defensive fire should the vehicle ever get caught in the open.  These trucks would be used to transport troops to battle deployment locations, as well as provide supply trains to make sure that ammunition as well as fuel was always available to fighting forces. 2000 of these trucks would be equipped to each existing Battle Group, and they would go under the code name of Jotnar.

Danish Straights/Kiel Canal

 

With the ongoing war, the Kingdom of Sverige would close the Danish Straights, and close down its section of the Kiel Canal to all combat vessels from none allied nations. Combat vessels attempting to pass through despite this order made would meet with an initial warning to turn around, and if they continued to attempt to move through there would be no second warning, and would be fired upon. As part of this initiative the Sverige Military would go to high alert, and all aircraft would be placed on stand by for fast responses to help with the closing of the water passages to military vessels. The Kingdom would also deploy Battle Groups to Southern Sweden, Denmark, and the Kiel Canal Zone.

Increased Mobilization

 

With threats to the Sverige ally of Hungary-Slovakia, the King of Sverige ordered all military to go active, and to be on high alert. All radar systems would be turned on and all jets would be ready to scramble to deal with any incoming threats. Civilians would be informed of the threat of war, and would be given instructions to head to their closest bomb shelters in the event of an attack placed against the Kingdom. All top government personal would moved secret locations to conduct further affairs of the state.

Missing French Princess

 

The Recently Divorced Princess of France who was reported missing would send alarms through the Kingdom of Sverige. The King himself would order investigations of all Radar, and Air Traffic Controllers to report last known position of the Aircraft before it went off of active Radar. The information gathered would quickly be dispatched to the Nordic Battle Group that was stationed at the Kiel Canal. Orders were given to find, if alive secure and recover and bring to medical facilities immediately, if not found alive, recover the body and transport it back to France.

World War

 

With the war going global, and the conflict expanding daily, orders were issued to all Sverige Military to go to full operational awareness. The borders were closed to all none Sverige Citizens, and all none allied citizens. News reels would show jets taking of to patrol Sverige Air Space. All active Radar was turned on, and the Sverige Military began a massive mobilization. Bomb Shelters would be fully stocked, and the entire war industry began pumping life blood back into the factories that hadn't been running at full til.

All Nuclear Missile Silo's would be prepped and ready to be used as a counter measure against any nation that decided to engage the Kingdom of Sverige.

Diplomatic Note from Sverige

 

It is with a heavy heart that I must send the sons and daughter of Sverige to war and for that I apologize to those that will lose their lives and to the families that will suffer from their lose. The nation of Hanover and Hesse have found it necessary to attack our allies the French and the Alvonians. While I understand that they do so following Military treaties they hold with other nations, it has forced our hand and has pushed us to be forced to respond to their actions of force with force of our own. As of this moment the Kingdom of Sverige is now at a state of war with the Nations of Hanover and Hesse. Now that the dice are cast, I can only hope that the war comes to a quick and decisive end with minimal bloodshed,

Schleswig-Holstein/Hamburg

 

With the apparent collapse of the Northlands government and nation, Sverige Soldiers already deployed to Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg would be put on high alert with reports that the British had attempted to take claim to it. The area would be heavily re-enforced as the Sverige Government sent out word to the people that they would protect them from foreign interests as the Sverige Government had for a long time jointly administered the area as part of the Kiel Canal Zone agreement that the two nations had set forth during the wars of Alvonian Aggression. It was Sverige's duty to protect these people as well as provide a stable area for a territory that had in the past been held by the Kingdom of Denmark, and still was home to many Danish people that had long wished to join the Norse Union that the Kingdom of Sverige had long been trying to achieve.

Fortifying the Frontier

 

With the addition of the Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg being added to the defense administration, the territory would begin to receive military fortifications, as well as under go restructure of the existing railways to Sverige standard, as well as closing off the border to all incoming traffic. It was the Kingdoms duty to defend its native people, as well as the Dutch people that had settled an found this area to be home during the time of the Northlands existence. All railways leading into the territory from Germany would be shut down and removed, and all road crossings would receive armed guards.

 

These actions were being taken from the militant child nations that had seemed to pop up into existence during the Kingdoms isolation. The dividing border would receive watch towers and outposts all along it with guards manning their posts at all times. The Kingdom would not allow its people to be harmed because of rampant militarism, especially with the news of the people of Hanover murdering their fellow Germans in a war of conquest and bloodshed that hadn't been seen since the days of Nazi Germany.

Kiel

 

With the increased size of the administration of the Kiel Canal zone to incorporate the entire state in which it existed as well as the city of Hamburg, the Sverige government officially closed down all these borders to the neighboring Germans and all other foreign peoples that would attempt to cross it. The military was placed on high alert and road signs would be placed up all along the border to inform people that anyone attempting to cross the border would be shot. As part of the closing down of the borders, construction of a wall began to separate this territory from the rest of the world. The Kingdom of Sverige would also send a notification privately to Alvonian state to send a diplomat to discuss the affairs of this territory, as well as to discuss the integrity and security of Central Europe.

Anglo-Saxon Collapse

 

With the collapse of the United Kingdom the Sverige Kingdom would declare a protectorate status over Icleand, The Faroes Islands, Shetland, and Orkney. They would also consider the matter closed over the disputed territory of Schelswig-Holstein/Hamburg, and the Sverige Military would continue to garrison it, as well as keep the borders closed.

Laughter at the British

 

The funny stories of the British Government had put the entire Sverige Government into full blown laughter. Their delusional dreams seem to have been planted there by the the comedy duo, Nicholas Rasputin, and his lovely assistant Judy Shull. They had recently done a skit on the Sverige News Network which showed the collapse of the entire Sverige nation, and talked about a plague that had wiped out all of its people. This of course would mean that any place where there were Sverige that they would remain their, and all the former territory of the Kingom of Sverige would still be flying the Sverige flag.
