Name of the previous eras

I think that a major CN era just ended recently, with the dissolution of SF, Citadel, MK and DoomHouse, the eQ war then the Disorder war, there is a definitive change.

proposed list:

• Jan 2006 to April 2007: Great War Era (from the beginning until GW3)
• April 2007 to September 2007: World Unity Era (From GW3 until the Unjust War)
• September 2007 to August 2008: DisOrderly Conduct Era (from the Unjust War until the War of the Coalition)
• August 2008 to April 2009: Pax Pacifica Era (From the War of the Coalition until the Karma War)
• April 2009 to January 2010: Post-Karma Era (from the Karma war until the BiPolar war)
• January 2010 to October 2010: SuperGrievances Era (from the BiPolar war until PB was founded)
• October 2010 to January 2013: DoomHouse Era (from PB and DH's foundation until the Equilibrium War)
• January 2013 - August 2013: Post-DoomHouse Era (from the Equilibrium War until the Frozen Hell Accords)
• August 2013 - Now: PolarDoxia Era (the current era, brought about by the Frozen Hell Accords)

As a gov member of an SF alliance at the time, it was there even before Karma in an ad-hoc capacity, but was never made into a de-jure hegemonic entity, despite a lot of effort in many quarters to make it happen. The height of SG was the BiPolar war.

SG was ultimately an interregnum in between Continuum and PB.

You know thinking about it, there are two sub-eras in the hegemony era, the period before the WotC, and the period after it until the Karma war.

There's sort of the "NpO/NPO sibling rivalry", then the total domination of NPO over all aspects of CN until Karma

There was still that period of time when Frostbite and Citadel were both things and had various connections to SF and CnG. It wasn't really until those decomposed that SuperGrievances really had the momentum.

This is true, the Multipolar era? I'll just put Post-Karma Era, how about this?

Well, DH really did control everything since DH held two spots in PB, and a large portion of PB was allied to MK. You can ask NG how they felt when they were in PB, when Umb and GOONS primary focus was on DH. It was pretty obvious that DH was in control when they pre-empted NPO back in PB - NpO, and got away with it PR wise.

Alright in the OP I've revised the list, what do you guys think about those names.

 

Maybe the current era should be called the tiered era, since the world has sorted itself into two tiers that aren't really in range of each other.

lol, that was GOONS.  PB were just back-up for the mess they created.

 

Also what DarthCyfe said.  PB really never had much power vs. DH.  If we had known that PB was DH+VE and their needs and desires got met first, we would've never joined.  In that regard PB as a whole had little power.  It was only when VE and Umb were on board with something, did anything happen.  And ultimately when we realized that we couldn't stop VE/Umbrella's plans to *try to* roll DR (ignoring we were allied to a part of it), did we see the writing on the wall and exit that failed bloc.
