Due to the ongoing violence in Euphaia, Foreign Minister Prince Hernando Mendoza would summon the Euphaian ambassador to Argentina. Upon arriving, the ambassador would be led to a small meeting room where the prince would be. Seeing the ambassador enter the prince would say, "Ambassador, it is quite unfortunate that we meet under these circumstances. As I understand it two foreign missions located inside your country have been threatened by civil unrest and has resulted in at least one embassy being evacuated am I correct? I would like to know if your government intends on upholding the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and if your government would find it prudent for us to evacuate our ambassador and staff?"

HIGHLY CLASSIFIED:

The Ministry of Defense has raised the Defense Forces Alert Status to DEFCON 3 due to the recent unrest in Euphaia and the armed conflict in The Cape.

The Royal Submarine Group would be positioned one hundred miles of the southern coast of The Cape. The Royal First Fleet has also been put on high alert status but will remain in the Atlantic Ocean conducting patrols.

*The ambassador from Euphaia walks into the meeting room, and greets the Argentinian prince as he takes his seat.*

Good evening, Prince Mendoza. Yes, unfortunately Euphaia is experiencing some unrest at this time that is stretching our police force and military a bit thin lately. Certainly you've seen reports on the protests around our nation, as well as the battle raging in one of our cities?

We are in the process of beefing up our recruitment of both the military and police force as we speak, as well as paying an independent security contractor to help fill in the gaps, though they don't seem quite as adept as our trained military.

*The ambassador pauses for a few seconds and then clears his throat.*

Speaking of military matters, our country at this time would be most grateful to you and To your nation of Argentina if you are in a position to be able to aid us equipment wise. Perhaps some light tanks, APCs, jeeps, Cobras, or Apaches, should you have some available that you are able to offer, or perhaps be able to sell at a discounted amount.

We are committed to upholding the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and the protection of all foreign diplomats here on our soil. I am pleased to report that the situation at both embassies has been resolved. We have dispatched available, police forces around both embassies, as well as yours, that I have been assured will monitor unrest better than the low ranking PMOs that were previously assigned.

You are also welcome to post your own military guards at the embassy, if you'd rather, otherwise once we are able, we will send military lieutenants for your protection.

The decision to stay or evacuate we leave to you. If you stay we will ensure your safety, or if you feel you'd be more comfortable back in Argentina until the unrest dies down, then we can keep in touch through the Euphaian Embassy in Argentina and through the President's private diplomatic phone line.

You may rest assured though, that we will sooner than later put down this terrorist insurrection, either through police action or lethal force. You have President Jarris' solemn word on that.

*The ambassador adds before he leaves*

If you could afford us such aid, we'd be able to launch a strong counter assault and push the insurgents out of Monternia, and probably out of the capital. With the insurgents out of the towns and cities and back into the rural areas, we would surely be able to free up more military and police forces to help keep our embassy and their diplomats safe and secure.

We,also wouldn't turn down any Humvees given, either.

"I am glad to hear that your government is attempting to gain a hold on the situation. Currently we have 10 members of the Argentine Royal Gendarmerie posted at our embassy in your capital, however we will be increasing that number to 30. In terms of military aid, the Kingdom of Argentina is willing to supply a whole range of choices under the conditions that you permit us to send military and civilian observers to your country and eventually pay the full price for such items."

***The Foreign Minister hands the ambassador a packet containing all available military equipment and technology approved for export.

We thank you for your generous offers, and will inform you of our decision after the President takes it under advisement.

I must caution you, however, while most of Euphaia's citizens would welcome Argentina's help in restoring order, a sizable minority, we estimate 20 percent of the population and unfortunately growing, openly support these insurgents. Mostly the poor and lower class, seem to think these radicals will solve their problems if they took power. They likely would find a foreign presence unwelcome.

I also must caution you that the town of Monternia is currently extremely dangerous, as strong fighting continues there. Here in the capital is also growing increasingly dangerous. We highly suspect these insurgents have begun receiving aid from the organizations FARC and ELN.

This war must end soon though, before Monternia, and our nation as a whole, is in ruins.

Again, our government will be in touch with you again soon.

"Very well ambassador. I look forward to speaking with you again soon."

***Prince Hernando Mendoza would escort the ambassador to an awaiting car that would take him back to the Euphaian embassy.
