Monsieur McNutt,

I contact you today, in order to forward her Majesty's government's request for another meeting, to settle differences between our countries and various matters of importance for possible cooperation between our countries. I would hope for a swift reply.

With regards,

A delegation of two, Premier Wiltord and Queen Hélène, would travel to Camp David for talks. While the Commonwealth authorities would be informed prior to the meeting, they would travel icognito with the surnames Vertorre and Français, posing as two ordinary Quebecoises. As means of transport, they would mostly use the train, though for the last bit, they would rent a car.

Arriving at Camp David, the Faraway diplomats would find the area covered in a light blanket of snow.  At the main entrance they would find the gate and security booths manned by Commonwealth marines responsible for the camp's security.  The officer of the watch was in his dress blues while several other marines were nearby in winter camouflage, hopefully the last time for a while.  Other marines were unseen, conducting roving patrols of the camp.  The sentries manning the front gates were initially taken aback at a random looking car driving up the road and they were initially mistaken for lost tourists.  Once their identities were confirmed a quick sweep was made with sniffer dogs as a security precaution and they were provided an escort to follow up to the main cabin as there were several roads throughout the camp and it was a real possibility that someone unfamiliar with the area could get lost.

Pulling up to the main cabin, they would be led inside to what amounted to be a living room with a nice table and several chairs.  Two people sat on one side of the table, Secretary of State McNutt and President Marston.  "Please sit down" said the President with a friendly smile when he saw the Faraway delegates enter.  "Before we get started would you like anything to eat or drink?  We have a wide selection of refreshments and appetizers on hand but I'm told by Chris here that you seem to especially enjoy tea, which I'm sure we can accommodate.  I trust you both had a pleasant trip?" he asked.

Hélène would nod with a diplomatic smile. "The journey was quite interesting and a cup of tea now would be very pleasant. Thank you for having us." The two would also take up the other offer and sit down at the table. Liselotte would silently open her bag, to produce a small stack of paper, as well as a pen. In contrast to Hélène, Liselotte smiled far less and showed little emotion, as she prepared for the meeting. Meanwhile, the main delegate would politiely try to strike up a pleasant topic. "I must say, your railway system is quite nice. Maybe, at some point, one can connect it to Québec. It would surely make these travels much easier." Receiving a few documents from her quiet Premier, she glanced over them, before ordering them neatly in front of her. "Oh, may I ask, what kind of tea it is?"
