After weeks of deliberation the people of Ontario had finally come to an agreed conclusion on what their successive government would be modeled after. They would form a loose democracy based on the principle of upholding human rights and not infringing on individual rights.

 

As part of the their Re-Emergence, they had decided upon a renaming of themselves from the old name that was part of their time as being under the thumb of the British Empire. They decided on an older name of the province, Kanadario. The Official name would be Republic of Kanadario, but they would address themselves as Kanadario for short, and the people would be known as Kanadarians.

 

The Stations of Government shall be as Followed:

 

Premier:

The Premier is the Elected Official that serves as the Head of State. They are responsible for passing or denying laws that are brought forth by the Parliament. They should do so with the people in mind, and always protect their rights and privileges. They should never abuse these powers, and must place the peoples needs over his own. They also to serve as the public face towards all Foreign Governments. They are also the Commander and Chief of all the Armed Forces of the nation to serve as a Defensive Warden in times of need.

 

Minister Council:

The Minister Council is a group of people put into respective positions to deal with Domestic Concerns of the Nation by the Premier. Such positions include Economic, Industrial, Natural Preservation, Defense, and other matters of Importance to the well being of the Nation.

 

Parliament:

The Parliament serves as the general elected body by the people of the Nation to serve as their representatives in the Government. They are responsible for bringing forth issues and addressing them to the best of their ability to better the Nation, and to ensure the safety of the people, as well as to protect their individual rights. They create the laws of the nation, as well as amend, or abolish laws that are not in the best interests of the Nation.

 

The Parliament is represented by Five Elected Members from each outlined District shown below.

 

 

Red - Northern Kanadario

Blue - Eastern Kanadario

Light Blue - Southwestern Kanadario

Green - Central Kanadario

Yellow - Greater Toronto

 

This would provide that the Parliament held 25 seats all together.

 

With the Elections closed, and the final votes tallied and weighed, the general speaker of the assembly addressed the crowd, as well as all the viewers on the national television service. He spent the better part of a couple hour reading off the names of the elected members of Parliament, shaking their hands, and allowing each of them to give a small speech of recognition and thanks to the people that had elected them to office.

 

After the crowd had finally gotten quiet enough after the last member of Parliament had taken his seat behind him, the general speaker approached the podium. "It is with great honor that I announce that the winner of the seat of Premier, who beat out his his three competitors for the seat, with a staggering victory of 73% of the votes, Steven Blake." He stepped aside, to a resounding roar of cheers and clapping as the assembly stood up in a huge eruption of joy. 

 

Steven Blake, made his way up to the podium taking his time as the people continued to cheer. He was a young man of 36, who had spent the better part of his life up to this point pioneering for the protection and rights of the people. He was an inventor at heart, and had been a very busy person in finding new and better ways to make manufacturing easier, as well as finding ways to keep the plants from closing down during the economic turbulence that had come during the past many years. He had lobbied with many local governments of the former Territory of Ontario to provide ways for people to have jobs, as well as received essential supplies for those that could not work. He stood in front of the Podium and the Microphones smiling at everyone and waving to the crowd, letting them work the cheering out of their systems before finally leaning forward to speak.

 

"My fellow people of the Republic of Kanadario, it gives me great joy that you would elect me to this position. I have come to know many of you over these many long years of trials and tribulations. I have dug ditches with many of you during floods, and I have worked hard to keep the plants that many of us have worked at and still continue to work at producing goods to be sold all over the world. I take this post as a reflection of you people, and I will do my very best to represent all of you. I will work my hardest to end all unemployment, I will work my hardest to end hunger in this nation, I will make sure that every night people will have a home to go to. We the people of this nation are what makes this nation so, and we are all what should, and will come first!." He raised his voice during the end before pulling away from the microphones, and smiling to the people as the erupted in a loud roaring applause and cheers.

With successful elections monitored by Commonwealth observers, troops and protectorate administrative officials would begin to withdraw and hand over control to the new government which has been recognized by the American Commonwealth government.

The government of Euphaia welcomes and recognizes the Republic of Kanadario, and grants Kanadario an embassy it's capital city of Jarriston. The government of Euphaia formally requests an embassy in Kanadario and to start formal diplomatic ties between our two nations.

The Freedom Fighters in Euphaia also welcomes the Republic of Kanadario and extend their hand in diplomacy, friendship, and solidarity to the government and people of Kanadario.
