Backed with the people's will of Bear Island a previously lost Inuktitut tribe whose ancient spirit ancestors were mighty bears. . .

Bear Islands in James Bay, Bear Island within Lake Temagami, and Bear Island of Nunavut declare our sovereign independence.

With implicit authorization from the American Commonwealth the Bear Islands' Nation of the Bear is established from previously held protectorates.
Having the Bear in our hearts we proudly announce ourselves to a wider international community.
Today is the declaration of Bear Islands' Nation of the Bear's establishment.

The American Commonwealth officially recognizes the Bear Island's nation as an independent nation.  American Commonwealth troops and observers will remain until the first official elections to form your nation's government are completed, after which they will be withdrawn.

American Commonwealth's ongoing assistance, recognition, encouragement and is appreciated greatly.

Commonwealth efforts were absolutely vital in establishing a sovereign Bear Islands' Nation of the Bear.

We look forward to cordial relationships with our southward North American neighbors.
