UN Security Council Discussion

"The fact that Draka has been silent for sometime does not mean that we would renege on our obligations to the United Nations. We submitted to U.N inspectors and followed through with their suggestions and mandates. However, if it benefits the paranoid few, we would be more than happy to submit to more investigations."

Prussia would like to submit a resolution for the elimination of the European seat on the Security Council, currently held by Prussia, until such a time as there are at least three nations that are eligible for election to the seat. Prussia has become almost a de facto permanent member (sans veto) due to the continual instability in the region. With both the Athenian Federation and the Greater Russian Empire looking after the well being of stateless Europeans, and permanent members of the security council, it no longer makes sense to have a rotating European seat.

Tianxia has noticed dramatic increases which our intelligence communities tactical indicators could show a restarted Drakan Program.  We point to increases in centrifuges increased uranium consumption, but little evidence of corresponding increases in civilian nuclear power consumption, and the fact that the capital requirements and marginal profits on a fission nuclear power plant are so small, as well as the fact that the amount of nuclear medicine needed is probably very little.  Therefore we request the immediate allowing of inspectors into facilities on Tianxia's inspection lists within 24 hours, and immediate assent to drone overflight of these areas by the Dominion of Draka to prevent any moving per UN Security Council Resolution.

Per the UN Security Council Resolution, we would be willing to allow an "inspection" to take place .However, such suspicions are unfounded. Just like any other civilized nation in the world, the Dominion has the right to conduct experiments of this nature. The end result does not always mean an atomic weapon.

Efforts to obtain this much uranium and enrichment beyond a certain threshhold has only one purpose to build a bomb or build one pretty damn fast.  There is zero legitimate medical or economic purpose at the levels we've seen, nor is this demonstrably done for either as those are both civilian utilities which we would see on Draka's markets, they have been non-existent. Nor for that matter is there much to experiment with nuclear fusion and light water reactors readily available with no proliferation concerns.  Beyond that we strongly condemn the test of any new missile with the capability to deliver nuclear arms.  Testing of such a device at such a time reflects a belligerence and will bring a swift response.
