Seconds after receiving the green light, Ortan Cassio's forces rolled into Paraguay in a massive movement that kicked up dust across the state of San Miguel. The mobilization of such a force took only an hour, as the sun beat overhead. Luckily the United Bolivian Army was used to such terrain and traversing it brought no realistic issues. When the A1Z was in sight gunfire could be heard from nearby towns and cities, the captain of the 1st Reconnaisance company diverted his forces away to the urbans to gather preemptive information on movements and weaknesses of the LCRL terrorists, while the remaining brigade continued on to the A1Z to get orders.

---------------------------------------------Ten hours pass--------------------------------------

The brigade having arrived in the A1Z dismounted and began immediate setups for their base. Starting with perimeter fences and weapon batteries and then moving on to quarters, mess', armory, and vehicle depots. The Colonel, a cold and calculating man, went directly to the Paraguayan General to receive orders. Dressed in the forest green camouflage uniforms of the Army he stood at attention in front of his better.

I thank you for your generous offer. Currently we need food, water, medical supplies, etc... We have many displaced civilians in the "Stabilized Region" however they are low on basic necessities. Anything you could send in the terms of humanitarian supplies would be greatly appreciated. We currently do not need a peacekeeping force, and if one is needed we will first turn to our continental neighbors. Again, I thank you for your generosity and hope to hear from you soon.

When they arrived to the city they'd heard gunshots from Captain Iglecias looked over Nanawa and sighed, seeing the fires looming from several quarters of the city. Turning to his soldiers he dispatched quick orders to his squads as they moved in to reclaim the city.

In the onset very intense fighting broke out as the '1st' were ambushed upon entry to Nanawa. A party of twenty or so LCRL members on rooftops and inside buildings started their attack in earnest with untimed salvoes of RPG-7 fire, taking the 1st by surprise as the lead UBCV was ruined as the metal plating melted off like wax from the numerous missiles shot at it. Six brave men died in the explosion as it consumed their bodies in the inferno. Amidst the chaos Captain Iglecias was commanding with a stern, calmness.

As the initial shock wore off and the men of the 1st began to fight back, their training proved it's worth as they gunned down nearly half of the LCRL ambush party. The remaining LCRL members began loosing ground as shots traded one by one dropped the terrorists. The last three left gave up their fight and retreated deep into the city. Captain Iglecias called off the pursuit, in favor of looking to his soldiers wounds and establishing some sort of perimeter to begin attacks into Nanawa in the following days.

The End in Sight

President Jose Gomez has ordered the remaining force to push through the A1Z and to push all insurgents out or arrest them. Fighting has gone on for several days and since the LCRL members are surrounded, they are in desperate need of basic necessities. The FPPF have made several large arrests and resistance is minimal.

The MAF has pushed through all major strongholds and is currently surrounding the LCRL HQ city. Tensions are high, as this could be the end of the LCRL or a mjor defeat to the Paraguayan forces.

Gregorio Galvez has been CAPTURED!!!

The notorious LCRL leader, Gregorio Galvez, has been arrested in his home by FPPF tactical officers. With news of his arrest, the rest of LCRL members either surrender or go into hiding. The campaign against LCRL is over! This victory has not come without cost however. Over 200 MAF personnel have been killed or wounded. A funeral for all those killed is scheduled to take place at Air Base Garcia tomorrow.

The President has ordered all National Guard and Army units back to their barracks, however has kept 5,000 Federal Paraguayan Police Force officers to assist local police in keeping the peace in the region. The Army Engineers Service has been ordered to the State of San Miguel to assist in rebuilding efforts. Humanitarian agencies will stay and continue to render relief to the displaced civilians.
