lkfht
The President moves quickly with his staff into the Situation Room at the People's White Palace to keep up to date on the latest developments about Operation New Hope. "Mr. President," said Chief of Staff Mr. Romeo Badillo "Yes" "It seems about 15 minutes ago an ammunition and firearms replenishment convoy was ambushed. All 10 members are dead, and all the cargo is gone." "I see... How many aircraft do we currently have in the air?" "1 P-3 Orion surveillance plane sir" "I want 3 MQ-9 Reapers with Air-to-Surface capability in the air now. I also want a UH-64 Apache to escort the Bolivian President's convoy the rest of the way. And get me the goddamn generals in here." "Yes sir, right away." ---sketchy transmission--- "Hello? Anyone there?" "Yes the President is and the National Security Council." replied the Chief of Staff "This is Lt. General Alanzo Porro" "Yes general, its the President, how may I help you?" "Sir, several of our units heading to the Governor's palace have been ambushed by the LCRL. Apparently the LCRL are much heavier equipped then originally thought." "What's the point general?" "Well to be quite frank sir, WE'RE GETTING THE $&*# BLOWN OUT OF US! We need reinforcements, and quick!" ---transmission lost--- "General? General you still there?" "I dont think so sir," said an aide "We're in a real $*%&^$@#% now aren't we?!" replied the President "Give me an hour to come up with a recovery plan. In the mean time get those freaking drones up and that Apache." "Yes sir, Mr. President" replied everyone ---President leaves and heads to his office---
High Emperor Aggron
"Shame that the conference ended early." Said the president looking out of his one-sided windows at the riots ensuing in San Miguel. He could hear the people shouting as they rapped their fists on his limo. It's a good thing we're in a rush, otherwise we'd waste these fools he thought as they slowly made their way through the overcrowded streets. The noise was bothering him as his phone rang and he rustled his hand in his pocket to pick up the call. He looked at the screen, seeing the name O.G-R and he smiled knowing the Secretary of State was already informed. Pressing the answer button he recoiled at the shouts and curses."Are you out of your ****ing mind!? DRIVING THROUGH A WAR ZONE!?""Relax Omar, I'm sure Ortan already sent..." President Robles words were cut short as shots rang out in the street and an rpg struck the lead SUV. The Driver shouting obscenities swerved round the blackened husk of the SUV as the mob turned from a distressed anger into raging fires of revolt. Hidden gun emplacements in the buildings lining the street opened fire on the convoy. Had it not been for the Bullet proof glass and hyper-dense steel alloys used to make the gov't vehicles, the President would've been dead. In an instant six of the ten SUV's broke line as their rear cab opened to reveal automated gunplatforms which opened fire on the LCRL ambush units, while the remainder of the convoy sped off. lkfht
The Chief of Staff is handed a note by an aide, "Dear God! Get me the President NOW!" The President runs to the Situation Room, "Romeo what the hell is it?" "sir the Bolivian President's motorcade was ambushed!" "Is he okay?" "Yes, but right now they are being chased by LCRL rebels armed with RPGs and machine guns." "Where the %$^# is that Apache?" "2 mics out sir," said a military attache "Do we have communication with the President?" "Not sure sir, but we can try. What do you have in mind?" "That P-3 Orion still in the air?" "yes sir" "relay a message to it and have it send an electronic encrypted message to the car's electronic messaging system." "What's the message?" "Tell them to go to the Aeropueto Dr.Luis Maria Argana. It should only be about 10-15 minutes from their ambush site. We'll send the •5th Army Special Operations Group, 1st Battalion (Hostage Rescue), A Company of 60 men on (3) V-22 Osprey with (2) AH-1Z Vipers for fire support. The President is to be taken to the Bolivian border where he will cross into safe hands." "Yes sir. Message has been sent." replied a communications officer. "Good. That Apache will cover them back to the airport." said the President. "And I'm gonna stay down here considering how quickly $@$@ can happen." UH-64D Apache coming in to protect the Bolivian Pres. High Emperor Aggron
After fleeing the streets of San Miguel the convoy sped off to the airport location they'd been ordered to for extraction. The convoy was down to six of its original nine SUV's, a solemn loss. President Robles looked out his window and sighed. This wouldn't be a good way to start off diplomatic relations in the least. When they arrived at the airport President Robles got out and was moved to a safe zone.
