Three hit open areas and the fourth, which was about to hit a populated area, was intercepted by iron dome.

It seems way too low key for Hizbollah to be the culprit.

Could be militant Sunni's seeking to destabilise south Lebanon and perhaps create extra stress for Hezbollah by provoking Israel.

Syrian rebels seeking to draw Israel into a war with hezbollah, thereby forcing hezbollah to pull its troops out of Syria?

Do you only notice the things that make a big bang? Plenty of dead Palestinians on a daily basis in Gaza concentration camp and the West Bank labour camp. The number of dead as a result medicine being denied them by the Occupation forces must be staggering after decades of ethnic cleansing.

Yes, ethnic cleansing. Expelling people from their own country and denying them the right of return is very nazi-esque in nature.

Ethnic cleansing is a the process or policy of eliminating unwanted ethnic or religious groups by deportation, forcible displacement, mass murder,
or by threats of such acts, with the intent of creating a territory
inhabited by people of a homogeneous or pure ethnicity, religion,
culture, and history. Ethnic cleansing usually involves attempts to
remove physical and cultural evidence of the targeted group in the
territory through the destruction of homes, social centers, farms, and
infrastructure, and by the desecration of monuments, cemeteries, and
places of worship.

Shameful. I'm outraged that the rockets didn't wipe out the Knesset.

Shameful indeed.

Also, you need to get a refund from your geography teacher.

These situations are always sad. It seems every possible solution just leads to more violence.

A sunni organization linked to Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the attack.

...

According to the statement, the Israeli air strike was a"precision strike that hit its target" and announced that all of the pilots involved in the mission returned to Israel safely.

A Palestinian militant group in Lebanon said one of its bases south of Beirut was the taregt hit by the IAF, but said it caused no injuries or significant damage, Lebanon's Al-Manar Television reported.

The station quoted a spokesman for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command as saying the group's base in Na'ameh was attacked. The spokesman said the PFLP-GC was surprised it was targeted because the earlier rocket fire was claimed by a separate al-Qaida-linked Sunni Muslim group.

The IDF has not confirmed the group's statement
Additionally, Israel stated that the government holds the Lebanese government responsible for the rocket fire that occurred on Thursday, even though a Sunni group called the Abdallah al-Azzam Brigades claimed responsibility for the rockets earlier on Thursday.

Lebanese President Michel Suleiman has denied involvement with Thursday's rocket attack, saying, "the firing of rockets towards Israel is a violation of the UN-regulated ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon," Army Radio reported on Thursday.

So Israel hit one group even though another group had claimed responsibly? Surely Israel should apologize for the case of mistaken identity   :P

Syrian rebels seeking to draw Israel into a war with hezbollah, thereby forcing hezbollah to pull its troops out of Syria?

That was my first thought the moment I saw the title and it could still be true.

Don't sweat it buddy I know very well that the Knesset building is located in the Zionist Occupied city of Al-Quds. It actually sits on the rubble of one of the countless Arab villages that were ethnically cleansed Nazi-style in 1948 by the fascist Zionist militias, doesn't it? An appropriate location for the seat of power of an illegal apartheid state, hehe. Imagine the Western outrage if when the German DR was established in 1949, it declared the KZ Sachsenhausen the seat of the Volkskammer. Yet the Zionists build their parliament building on one of the numerous sites of crimes against humanity they have committed and not a single peep is heard from anybody in the West.

Who the hell cares about a few untermenschen in their Lebensraum.

But I'm sure Israel will recover from this horrible terrorist attack that the entire world needs to know about in less than a eye blink.

Looks that your geography teacher is not your only teacher who did not do such a great work.
