Preamble This Amity and Cooperation Treaty hereby recognizes that the State of Unified Nations and North Atlantic Defense Coalition share a bond with each other. This treaty is based upon friendship and cooperation between two alliances. Both signatories will remain sovereign while this treaty is in effect.II. Terms Both signatories hereby strive to maintain the following as a result of their unique friendship:A. Non-Aggression No nation of either alliance will engage in espionage against the other, declare war against the other, or aid their enemy through any method.B. Etiquette Both signatories will treat members of the other alliance as they would treat their own. Addressing of hardships between both alliances will occur via proper diplomatic channels.C. Assistance In all instances, one signatory is required to provide a full explanation to the other as to why they could not provide assistance. i. Discretionary Neither signatory is bound by this document to provide financial and military assistance to the other. Should a request be made through proper channels by either one, the other alliance is encouraged to provide assistance. This treaty provides both the North Atlantic Defense Coalition and State of Unified Nations with full authority to enter a conflict in which the other is directly involved. ii. Non-Discretionary Both signatories are required to share intelligence among each other when the information pertains to the other alliance.D. Cancellation Should either signatory violate this treaty, the other is permitted to withdraw from the treaty.
