GA's, Anarchy and troops

Recommended Posts

Since there is round 26 (Yay!) I tought I should share some  of my ideas with you guys.  Feel free to post your opinions on them, hate on them, or whatever you like :)

GA’s-- Making GA's last a while, depending on how much chances attacker has against defender  and defenders defcon,  but max. up to an hour  when chances are even 50/50 or 55/45. Minimum is 5 minutes when enemy has little troops and is unaware of danger (Defcon 5).  This would hopefully add some new  tactical twists to the game.  Nation can be involved in only  1 battle at once.

GA loot— After winning a GA against defending nation, attacker can capture:

                1.Enemy  land

2.Percentage of enemy tanks (in case of planned and cautios attack)

3.Tech,  but only if enemy has more tech ( this will discourage tech raids)

4.Money,  in terms of defenders equipment, random amount up to 60% worth of enemy army

            --- After Defender won :

                1. Tech,  but only if enemy has more tech

2.Percentage of enemy tanks (in case of planned and cautios attack)

3.Money,  in terms of attackers equipment, random amount up to 60% worth of enemy army

Anarchy---  (AKA  defeat alert) Should happen when someone has less than , for example,  10% soldiers than he has citizens and attack on him is attempted.  His goverment is set to Anarchy, and part of his land, infra, and money is taken (  this serves as  some kind of occupation).  Again, no tech is taken if enemy has less tech than you.

Nation is not able to buy LOST soldiers for next 6h following their death ( because it takes some time for all those kids to grow up, LOL)

I believe purchasing soldiers involves buying mercenaries as well as drafting, so I suppose you CAN buy back those soldiers you just lost, but at a higher price.

Perhaps have a place in the military section to "draft" soldiers for cheap, cheap. AND a place to "conscript" mercenaries for a good penny.

I about to say "naturally, mercenaries would be better trained, so your drafted soldiers should start as untrain..." but people would think I'm referencing another browser nation simulation game...

i am, or was (had no te alliance for most of the rounds), a casual player, like a lot of older se nations.  i would really like to see the bolded options implemented.  lots of us older (3-4+ years playing) nations are tech sellers, either for a while or for most of our time on the game.  this(these) setting(s) would help generate a lot more interest, imho, among those of us without the upper-tier nations everyone else seems to be referencing.  we don't get all that much war practice, since in every (se) war we're being hit by upper-tier nations knocked down to our size, so we get nuked every day for 6-7 days in every alliance-wide war.    that doesn't give us much practice, you know?  this/these would.  just my two cents.
