For too long we have been under the yolk of the tyrannical social imperialist leaders of the empire of Tianxia and their wenches.  Today I comrade Kim Il Sung, the Eternal and Immortal President of the Democratic Republic of North Korea hereby declare Independence and open defiance against the oppressive Empire of Tianxia and its allies.  

 

We, the Korean People, will wage eternal war upon the Empire of Tianxia and its allies until they are brought to justice for their crimes as imperialist running dogs.  Our armies shall sweep upon their shores!  Our missiles shall set your cities ablaze!  Our planes shall chase yours from the sky like the glorious Korean Eagle chases a sparrow!

 

Our conquests have already begun, from our secret underground base, we have dug a tunnel into Mascurian Siberia.  As we speak our invincible soldiers have already begun storming the palace of Mascuria's leaders.  Soon they shall be crushed.  If you try to happen we shall reign down ten thousand missiles on your capital.  It is inevitable!

Meanwhile in Mascuria

 

 

North Korean Soldiers hop out of the ground in the middle of the Mascurian Khagan's Frontlawn.

"The fuck," one of the soldiers on the grounds said in disbelief of 2 dozen elite North Koreans popping up from the ground.

 

"The fuck," another one said in reply.

 

"The fuck," said a third one, running forward to get a better view of the subterranean assailants.

 

"Do we... do we shoot them," the first soldier asked perplexed, holding up his rifle.

 

"Well, let's not be too ... bleh," the second soldier started to say before all three of them took bullets to the face.

 

Inside the palace, a guard who heard the shots triggered the alarms of building which sealed the doors and windows.  "The fuck," was all he could say when he saw the spectacle outside.

 

Second Floor of the Palace

"Sir," an office worker said as he rushed into the Khagan's office, "you need to get down to the basement immediately!"

 

"Why," Mikhail asked, not looking up from his computer screen.

 

"We're under attack!  Some soldiers, they just popped up from the ground!"

 

Mikhail stood up from his chair at this news.  "The fuck?!"

 

Marscury Police HQ

"Sir," an office worker said as he rushed into the police chief's office, "we need teams dispatched to the Khagan's palace."

 

"Another issue with a protester," the chief said, not looking up from his computer screen.

 

"The building is under attack!  Some soldiers, they just popped up from the ground!"

 

The police chief stood up from his chair and walked towards the man.  "The fuck?!"

 

 

In the distance, the North Korean soldiers could hear the sirens of approaching SWAT team vans.

Suddenly a human wave of North Koreans fired on the swat team.

 

A wave of angry stern looking North Korean women marched towards the palace, yelling at the Khagan to come out or be nagged to death.

On the streets

As the SWAT teams arrived, they began to take heavy fire.  While some of the SWAT team may have scored hits on the North Koreans, they were falling like flies due to the sheer volume of lead coming their way.

 

"UGGGGGGGGH, they truly are Best Korea," one man said before dying.

 

"We need more men," yelled out another one.

 

While all this was happening, snipers took up positions on the rooftops around the palace.  Any time a new soldier came out of the ground, the snipers would take shots at them, like the most disturbing game of whack-a-mole ever.

 

Meanwhile, a simply reply was sent to the North Korean women from the Khagan's office.

 

"I have a middle aged wife from America and a Jewish mother.  Try me."

MESSAGE TO TIANXIA MILITARY COMMAND

 

THE NORTH KOREANS HAVE CARRIED THROUGH WITH THEIR THREATS - STOP

STRIKE TEAMS HAVE ENTERED MARSCURY - STOP

REQUESTING NAVAL ACCESS TO THE YELLOW SEA AND KOREAN BAY - STOP

REQUESTING AIR SPACE CLEARANCE OVER MANCHURIA - STOP

REQUESTING TIANXIA PLACE AN INTERNATIONAL EMBARGO OVER NORTH KOREA FOR REMAINDER OF CONFLICT - STOP

REQUESTING POSSIBLE ROADWAY USAGE INTO NORTH KOREA  FOR COUNTER-STRIKE - STOP

 

While the invasion was currently limited to the palace grounds, no chances were being taken against this ambitious enemy.  Along the Amur River, surface to air missile sites were being set up to counter any aircraft that may be tempted to stream in for air support.  Fighter squadrons were placed on maximum alert, ready to take off at a moment's notice.  As the Amur River began to thaw, ships of the 1st Fleet patrolled the river more diligently, in order to stop any enemy agent infiltration by boat.  All the bridges into the nation were blocked by checkpoints, searching all cars for hidden weaponry or personnel.

 

 

In the Palace:

"I got it," Mikhail exclaimed.

 

"Really," one of the office workers said, laying on a couch, "you actually have a plan?"

 

"Yes," Mikhail said, beaming with joy, "now, you know how all Asians look alike?"

 

"Only to you, sir," the office worker said, disappointed by what would obviously no longer be a brilliant plan.

 

"Well, maybe they think we look alike," Mikhail said, paying no attention to the worker's snarky comment and continuing straight on with his plan.  "Bring me, AN INTERN!"  With that, Jimmy The Intern came rushing into the office.

 

"Yes sir, what can I do for ya," he asked in his usually peppy manner, "do ya need some coffee or tea or anything?"

 

"Jimmy," Mikhail said, "you're going to pretend to be me.  I need you to surrender to the North Koreans so they will go away."

 

"Sir," Jimmy said nervously, "I don't know if that will work.  I mean, what if they find out it's not you?  They could do very bad things to me."

 

"JIMMY!  DO YOU WANT COLLEGE CREDIT OR NOT," Mikhail yelled at him.

 

From outside the palace, the North Korean soldiers would see Jimmy the Intern flung from a second story window.  Duct taped to him was a piece of paper with the word "Khagan" written on it.

 

"Well hi there fellas," Jimmy said nervously.

"Who you?  You fat!  Not slender like North Korean Glorious Leader.  You come with us." the North Korean soldiers ordered as they retreated back into their tunnel.  

 

As the North Koreans fled news came over the wires.  The empire of Tianxia had begun to mobilize, in preparation to declare war upon the break away province.  Additionally, other nations of the world had begun to declare embargos on the rogue state.  Comrade Kim Il Song had ordered the hermit kingdom to take up a nation at arms strategy and place missile forces on highest alert.

 

Immediately the North Koreans would start by firing off a salvo of Taepodong ballistic missiles each armed with a 5 kiloton warhead.  six headed towards the West Coast of North America, two heading for Seattle, two for Portland, two for San Francisco.  Three headed out into the Pacific, one heading for Auckland, one for Honolulu, one for Guam.  

 

Four missiles headed into Eurasia, one for Beijing, one for Hanoi, and one for Rome and Athens each.  Still two more would head for Praetoria and Johannesburg. 

 

Thwo MRBM missiles with 2 kiloton warheads were launched at Harbin HQ of the Tianxia Northern Army and Dalian, and two more were launch at the Athenian Pacific HQ. 

 

North Korea's remaining 5 warheads would be buried deep into bunkers others could not get to.

 

North Korea's offensive would not be done however.  Launching a blitzkrieg type attack, North Korea fired off over two hundred cruise missiles against Tianxia's bases in Manchuria saturating radar returns.  At the same time it flew low flying sorties with Su-25 and Mig-29s striking at cities on the border with incendiary bombs.  

 

Against Ehestadt and Seoul 80 SCUD missile launches would be detected through each, with propaganda videos circulating over the internet that the SCUDs might be equipped with biological and chemical weapons.  Through generating massive radar returns to Tianxia's air defense forces, the North Koreans then launched a chemical and biological attack against Mascuria's air and naval bases.

 

10 MRBMs equipped with chemical weapons were sent to strike Mascurians bomber bases, while 12 low flying under the radar cruise missiles were sent to stealthily deliver massive aerosolized anthrax against amphibious infantry bases and naval moorings.  

 

Meanwhile Korean air force sent out their PAK FA fighters to do SEAD against Russian and Tianxia assets up north, to allow their force of supersonice Tu-22s to deploy naval mines into the entrance of the Amur River.

 

In the South swarms of slow flying low altitude civilian aircraft would drop naval mines onto Incheon Bay, while thousands of incindiery rocket and artillery shells were sent into downtown Seoul.  2/3s of the North Korean Army was launched into a deep battle operation against the limited Tianxia Army forces in the South.  

 

With Seoul quickly within the North's Reach, 5 Chemical weapons SCUDs and 5 chemical weapon equipped cruise missiles would be used against Busan to deny the limited Tianxia forces a home base to organize and produce munitions to supply themselves, eager to not allow a new Busan perimeter from which they could hold out.

 

In the North, infiltration teams would enter into the fire bombed villages, aiming to kill as many government officials and seize communication assets as quickly as possibly, while the Northern forces seized high ground positions to dig in for a delaying action against the Tianxia forces.

 

Simultanously in the Sea of Japan Sea, the fleets Montana Class Refit Battleships would open fire with their long range cruise missile, launch a barrage of 280 cruise missiles, targeting radar command sites in the sea of Japan.  

 

Rapidly a squadron of 18 Sovremmeny class ships would engage suppressing fire targeting the missile defense ships across the seas with swarms of supersonic AshM missiles.  As the remaining Sovremmy class ships along with the Type 054s and Zhukov Class Cruisers made a move for Sakhalin and Hokkaido escorting assault ships, aiming to stage a break out of Tianxia's forces.  

 

Meanwhile Osa I Class Patrol boats were stationed to hide along with submarines along the yellow sea coast of Korea.

Stealth effectiveness vs. Anti Stealth Counter measures:

Survivability of bunkers against PGMs

-Bunker construction is vulnerable to regular overhead satellite ISR

-Deep bunkers require a fall out shelter complex and cannot hold more than 25% of your forces.

-PGMs which are used against bunker entrances and comm systems can remove deep bunkers ability to deploy to the outside for one turn.  Bunkers can be destroyed by spyroll and follow up RP.

A phone call would be placed to Tianxia military command, requesting permission to use their air bases and ports to transport troops and base aircraft for an assault on North Korea.

 

On the diplomatic cables, this message would be sent from an undisclosed location (Salt Lake Strategic Command Center), "This act coming from the North Koreans is more than deplorable. Alkaia has recognized that a state of war exists between ourselves and North Korea since the missiles touched down in our cities. We may have mercy on our enemies, but chaos has none."

 

Confidentially, a message would be sent to the citizens on the coasts and near the mountains to begin operation smokescreen. With the message would be a CC-20 Strategic Waterpipe, and a week's supply of THC-4 Purple Haze.
