Corrupt political officials have turned the channel into an echo-chamber, driving out political dissidents and resulting in a brain drain with the most interesting people being banned or leaving. Additionally, CN Radio is dead as a platform, with no radio shows created in the last several months. Our grievances with abusive CN Radio moderators include the following: Changing user server names against our will Spamming emojis to disrupt the flow of conversation Playing favorites, creating special masks and privileges for CN political allies Selectively warning and banning specific users who do not fit in with the hegemonic clique Thought policing against politically incorrect ideas The problem with handing out moderation positions to "friends" or political allies is that such people are not necessarily responsible with the authority granted to them. As we have seen in CN generally, corrupt political officials who whore their positions of authority to gain "friends" abroad have degenerated politics to the tribal level. This pattern of decay is devastating to free speech in an era when such corrupt alliance officials actively promote the "talk !@#$ get hit" mentality. It is important therefore to expand the original Boiler Room server to a general free speech zone for all CN and non-CN discussion, so that all CN users can enjoy a place to communicate freely without moderation abuses or threats of violence from tyrants and bullies. Those who contribute the most to the content and atmosphere of the server will be recognized as trusted stakeholders, with increased influence and responsibility. 4. All mutes and bans will be documented and transparent for all users to see. 5. Users will not be required to disclose their identities to moderation staff or the public in general. 6. Subversive behavior intended to disrupt the smooth functioning of the server is prohibited. This includes poaching, spamming, derailing, and other conduct that may detract from efficiency and good order.

Since the early years of our world, the political atmosphere has been oriented around the alliance sovereign... a person or institution entrusted by the collective will of an alliance affiliation to elevate the alliance above the state of nature (Chaos). In the state of nature, "there is no right or wrong, no universal morality, and no law; individual nations are free to do whatever they want and take whatever they desire." As can be seen on none and the vast barbarian enclaves of the lower-tier, individuals are totally consumed by the matter of survival, and are incapable of growing beyond a few thousand nation-strength. The alliance sovereign has, until recently, dominated the political landscape of Cybernations. It is "only a sovereign that can have the strength and authority to provide stability" within an alliance and enable it to reach the "heights of civilization." The alliance sovereign can take many forms; my own alliance is represented by autocratic democracy. Our world is unique because this fundamental political theory has ultimately manifested in the form of the global treaty web. The treaty web brings order to the worlds political developments, allowing the average nation to comprehend global relations formally established between alliance sovereigns. It is an empowering tool for the average nation, allowing him or her to "vote with feet" should their alliance sovereign fail in some manner. These treaties between sovereigns have provided the additional benefit of collaboration in defeating barbarian threats to growth and stability (rogues). For many years, color sanctions have been used against rogues. It became an additional incentive for nations to band together and become legitimate; sanctions are much less likely to be used against large alliances. But large alliances must act in a responsible manner to avoid being targeted by the rest of the global community. Thus, based on this basic political foundation, civilized norms have developed that are adhered to by most large alliances: That alliance members are free to leave during peacetime (assuming no debts). That alliance sovereigns coordinate to sanction rogues across color teams. That alliance members cede diplomatic and military authority to the alliance sovereign. That raiding of non-aligned nations should be restrained in nature. That alliance sovereigns do not claim jurisdiction over other alliances. All of these basic principles are rejected by Sephiroth aka Methrage and the LPCN: Sephiroth has claimed that leaving LPCN is "treason." Sephiroth started sanction wars to protect rogues sanctioned by other color teams. Sephiroth allows his members to threaten individual wars against other alliances. Animalz has pursued PZI against new nations that fight back against raids. Sephiroth claimed jurisdiction over Supernova X, which resulted in a two month war. While the LPCN was once considered a fringe movement, they have recently been supported by some large alliances from outside brown who have traditionally been considered mainstream in nature. The motivation of these powerful actors are not entirely clear; however, their enabling effect has pushed LPCN towards increasingly aggressive behavior. For several months, the Imperium of Supernova X has been the leading voice against LPCN on the brown team. As a result, our members have been rocked by numerous spy attacks in the low tier, threats of attack by individual LPCN members, coup attempts, "public trials," and militant agitation behind the scenes. Our members see Methrage and his people as a bully, but both sides have their own perspectives. I invite LPCN to put aside the saber rattling and discuss their policies like civilized men: Are LPCN alliance affiliations sovereign, or are they subordinate AAs per Sephiroth's "treason" doctrine? Is a movement that utilizes political violence against dissidents truly "libertarian?" What moral right does LPCN have to interfere with the ability of SNX, GATO, Atlas and others to sanction rogues on the brown team? Does the LPCN still claim court jurisdiction over Supernova X and other alliances? Hopefully this thread promotes enlightening discussion rather than continued threats and spy attacks as in the FCA threads.

The Mad Dog Mattis Accords Preamble, When a man pulls up with a white van and no windows and asks "Have you seen my puppy?" the proper response should be... "Do you have some candy in the back of that van?" Article I. They are Different White vans and white doomsday planes look similar to the novice observer, but they are in fact seperate entities that govern themselves. Article II. Radio chatter Bringing these two together for fun and discussion is an awesome occasion and should happen regularly. If one hears someone talking about the other looking like a pidgeon or pedo; this information should definitely be shared. Article III. Peace be with you At no point should one alliance attack the other, aid the enemy of the other or engage in coercive action against either. All debates and grievances shall remain on the shag carpet of the green room as we sit indian style with a bowl of candy in the middle. Article IV. A Date that will live in Infamy If either alliance is attacked, there shall be coordination for a mutually defensive effort against the attackers. Peaceful diplomacy can be offered but is no substitute for defense. Article V. Foreign Diplomacy by "Other Means" Sometimes reaching out to touch someone is neccesary, this is when both parties should already be discussing the events that lead up to the desire to touch a third party. Neither WFF or SwC is mandated to provide military support during an offensive conflict but aid and rebuilding aid should be expected and demanded when appropriate. Article VI. Rolling up the Window If the unfortunate decision comes to roll up the window and sing "Keep on a knockin' but you can't come in" happens; a minumim of 72hrs notice is to be given before the end date of this pact.

Government of Independent President: someguynamedjosh Vice President: Head of Military: Head of Internal Affairs: Today you are free, Today you are a free, Today you are free, We are independent. Officially Opened 11/28/2015 Sections: Government Rules and Regulations Membership Allegiance Decleration of War and Use of Nuclear Weapons Disciplinary Proceedure Section 1: Government Article 1: Democratic Government Nations within the alliance Independent are not to be ruled by anyone in times of peace. In times of war the president, vice president, and head of military are to assign you to people to attack. If we are brought to war to help one of our allies the same rule applies as us being in wartime. The war flag will be flow in these times. In times of peace the head of internal affairs will manage trade deals and tech sells/buys. Decisions during peace time will be made democratically. Whenever there is something important to vote on it will be created in a poll in the voting room and members will have only 24 hours to place their vote. If a members vote is not placed within the 24 hours his/her vote will not be counted and the alliance will move on with the winning number of votes. Although the president can make executive decisions without consulting any of his counterparts if he deems it to be an emergency. Article 2: Presidents job The president's job is to manage the alliance. He is to make sure everything is running smoothly and that the alliance is upholding the Charter that was written. The president is to lead the voting process and make executive decisions only to protect the alliance security. Article 3: Vice Presidents job The vice presidents job is to assist the president in anything he needs. The vice president is to also oversee foreign relations. The vice president will go out and be the official representative of Independent. The vice president is to take over if the president is unable to for a period of time and is also the heir to the presidency. Article 4: Head of Military: The head of military is to run any military actions. He/She is to work with the vice president with foreign relations and KEEP the Independent alliance at peace. If war is to be declared he is to be in charge of the voting process and will report it to the president. He will assign nations in Independent other nations to attack in an educated manner. Article 5: Openings in Government: All high government positions are decided by the president then voted on by the alliance to approve. Yet, the president does have power to veto the approval and accept the member if he sees fit. Section 2: Rules and regulations All tech deals must be completed as agreed upon by all parties involved. All Disciples are required to follow the wonder outline. All Disciples must be on the red team. Any Disciple posts on the CN forums must be respectful of those involved. Voting is not forced Section 3: Membership Article 1: Privilege of Membership Getting a membership to Independent is a privilege and should be treated as such. All members are required to follow Independent rules and regulations as well as stay active on the forums to maintain their membership. Article 2: Rights as a Member All members are guaranteed the right to protection provided by fellow alliance members and allies. If the member needs protection due to their own action which breaks any DOA rules or regulations, this right is null and void. Every member has the right to take part in all programs ran by the alliance as long as they meet the program's set requirements. All members are guaranteed the right to express their opinions, whether positive or negative about the alliance's inner and outer workings so long as they do so in a respectful manner. Name calling or use of abusive language makes this right null and void. Any member accused of breaking any rules or regulations has the right to defend themselves before the President before receiving any disciplinary actions. Section 4: Allegiance Article 1: Allies All allies are to be treated as if they are one and the same as Independent. The well being of their nations is just as important as the well being of our own. If called upon, Independent will go to war to defend an ally as if Independent itself has been declared upon. Independent promises to keep in close contact with their allies and work to build a friendly and long lasting relationship at all times. Section 5: Declaration and Execution of War Article 1: Acceptable Reasons Attacks made against a Nation with the opposing alliance refusing to resolve the issue peacefully. An alliance poses itself as a threat to Independent's sovereignty over its own nations. A nation is caught sending spies to a nation with the approval of their alliance's government. An alliance is caught actively poaching Independent members. A rogue nation has declared on a Independent Nation. Article 2: Approval of War Nations do not have to be 'approved' to go to war but it does have to be reported in order for there be an opportunity to receive help and also to see if the reason for war is justified and doesn't pose a threat to Independent or its allies. Article 3: Nukes Must never be used unless approved by president because it can cause problems within the alliance as a whole. Section 6: Discipline Article 1: Minor Infractions All minor infractions will be handled with a warning. In the event that a minor infraction is committed twice by the same member, (even if they are not the same infraction) the consequences may be those of a moderate infraction. Article 2: Moderate Infraction A moderate infraction will be handled with a warning and a possible suspension from participating in any alliance backed programs. It could also result with a suspension from the message boards. In the event that a moderate infraction is committed twice by the same member, (even if they are not the same infraction) the consequences may be those of a severe infraction. Article 3: Severe Infraction Severe infractions will result in removal from the alliance and possibly an attack, depending on what the consequences were of your infraction. Announcement from the Libertarian Party of Cybernations & Limitless Nexus I would like to thank all my supporters, who have helped me gain a seat in the Senate. Together we can make Brown the first Libertarian Team; where Freedom is valued above all else. I hope moving forward more Senators and nations will no longer vote based on the short sighted interests or grudges of their alliance; but instead on the selfless goal of making freedom prevail above all else. Libertarianism is a political philosophy that upholds liberty as its principal objective. Liberty is good for everyone, we're all better off if we recognize everyone's right to have freedom; rather than everyone ending up with less freedom as a result of everyone trying to suppress the Freedom of those they dislike or disagree with. In addition to wanting to express my thanks to all my supporters who helped make this win a reality, I'm also pleased to announce the establishment of the Libertarian Party of Cybernations. I tried looking at the alliance topics over there and I don't see anything too appealing. I read a few of you guys alliance announcements and such too. I don't know what I am doing but I am going to try and do an alliance thingy. So yeah if you'd like to meet and befriend a one gal show, come on over an say hi to the "Maverick Coalition". The first national elections for the United States of North America is now underway. This historic event shall determine the first democratically elected government of the nation. Elections will are being held for the President, who will be elected by the national popular vote, and both Houses of Congress. The Presidential Candidates Only two candidates have met the Federal Election Commission's required number of petition signatures to be placed on the national ballot. All other candidates were unable to meet the minimum registration requirements in more than one state. Darren R. Hayes Darren Hayes is the Democratic Party's choice for the candidacy for the presidential election. A lifelong resident of Ohio, Hayes is actually a descendent of President Rutherford B. Hayes, the 19th President of the first United States. After graduating from college Hayes was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the previous US Army where he served in the Rangers. After 10 years he left the army as a major and began his political career as an Ohio state legislator for six years before running for and being elected the governor of Ohio. This year marks the end of his second term. Hayes announced that he would not seek re-election as governor in order to concentrate his efforts on the presidential campaign. Ronald J. Holland Ronald Holland is the Republican Party's choice for the candidacy for the presidential election. A native of South Carolina, Holland is a graduate of the US Naval Academy. Serving for six years, he left the navy and pursued politics as a state legislator then went on to be elected to the US Senate. After the fall of the second USA and the formation of the USNA he was appointed by South Carolina to sit on the temporary national legislature, the precursor to Congress before elections are done. The Parties The parties listed are those that have managed to get on the congressional ballot in more than one state. The details of each party's platform have been included on the issues currently viewed as most important by the voters. Democrats Economic Policy - Tax breaks should be given to small and medium sized businesses and a higher progressive tax on the rich and corporations. Social Policy - Supports the expansion of social services and programs to alleviate and provide a safety net against poverty. Science and education should be further funded by the federal government to promote technological advancement and an educated population. Foreign Policy - The US should become more involved in international affairs, both near home and abroad. Promotion of free trade and international cooperation with other nations of similar values is essential to the economic growth and security of the nation. Defense Policy - A strong national defense budget is essential to the security of the nation. Republicans Economic Policy - Taxes should be lowered for corporations and the rich as job creators. Social Policy - Federally funded social programs should be reduced and/or delegated to the individual states. Foreign Policy - The US needs to become thoroughly involved on the international stage and should find willing international partners to promote the growth of democratic institutions and international security. Defense Policy - The world is a dangerous place and only a strong national defense will ensure the safety of the nation. The military is the only real guarantor of protection and national sovereignty in this world. Green Party Economic Policy - Economic growth should be based on environmentally sustainable policies. Subsidies and funding of green technologies and alternate energy should be given high priority. Social Policy - The federal government has an obligation to provide a social safety net, alleviate poverty as well as promoting education and the arts. Foreign Policy - Push for international participation in global environmental initiatives and agreements. Promote international peace and disarmament. Defense Policy - A strong defense policy is necessary but should not come at the cost of civil and social programs. A balanced military policy is needed to ensure overspending doesn't occur. Libertarians Economic Policy - Elimination of the income tax and an end to government economic regulation in favor of laissez-faire free market policies. Social Policy - Massive reduction and elimination of government services and programs. Privatization of social security and education. Elimination of all welfare programs. Foreign Policy - Non-interventionism and promotion of international free trade. Defense Policy - Military policy geared towards self defense and non-intervention. Constitutionalists Economic Policy - Elimination of the income tax and government deregulation of the economy. Implementation of protectionist trade policies to safeguard American jobs and industry. Social Policy - The US is a Christian nation and should return to the biblical foundations the country was founded on. Foreign Policy - Isolationism. Defense Policy - Strong national defense. ZEALAND PRESS On this day, July 18th, the absolute monarchy of Zealand hereby requests release from it's protectorate status and recognition as a newly founded nation. Laying claim to, New Zealand and the realm of New Zealand bar all territories north of the Kernadec Islands, south of the Campbell Islands and the waters existing between as sovereign territory of Zealand. Upon acceptance of this, Zealand plans to build its first shipyards as to build the Zealand Navy. The royal family has yet to be announced but is assumed to be of a prominent Maori family within the Kingdom. OOC: flag on the way. Also those Islands are all the realm of New Zealand, minus niue, thecook islands and torkelau. Also Zealand does not lay claim to the ross dependency whatsoever.
