March 5, 2009 Ivan looked upon this world, felt himself compelled to once again face the establishment. From his efforts was born the New Sith Order, the third of his line. Seven years later his youngest stands tall beside the other Sons of Moldavi and the world in which he brought us. Seven years His Order has faced trial after trial, proving our mettle and growing stronger espousing new virtues and gaining new strength from each Emperor, and most assuredly each Acolyte, along the way. Seven years his third continues to raise the bar on persistence. As the revolutions of our world slowly wind down the New Sith Order remains steadfast and united. We stand proud of our accomplishments, sure of ourselves and appreciative of our friends. The Sith Order has extended our reach to realms beyond securing prosperity together and increasing our bonds as Brothers with each other. We would like to take this opportunity to recognize all members past and present (as many as our historians could read off the bathrooms walls of Moldavistadt - some fools may have scribbled themselves in twice under multiple monikers); to recognize the efforts and time everyone has put in to develop our home and our community into what it is today. As the silly web we all weave appears to be spiraling once again into war, I guess this is a good of a time as any to make a new treaty web topic. I was inspired to make this dedicated topic by the 'What I want for Christmas' topic posted yesterday. So like I posted in that topic, here is the link to our RI5 powered 2D treaty web: http://rialliance.net/treatyweb.html Click the wrench in bottom right corner to minimize or maximize filtering options. You can filter be treaty type, alliance rank (1-X), and treaty color. Ignore the 'add a new treaty' section since thats just a broken link to LoSS' forum. Mucho Locos Pacto Prueba I: Preámbulo The Alianza de Aleatorio Demencia (hereby referred to as AAD) and Los Pollos Hermanos (hereby referred to as LPH) hereby agree to the following protectoRIte pact, in the interest of growth and fostering a friendship between the two entities. Prueba II: Locura As long as this agreement is in effect, the Alianza de Aleatorio Demencia will provide complete protection from aggression to Los Pollos Hermanos. If Los Pollos Hermanos specifically requests the Alianza de Aleatorio Demencia refrain from intervening, the Alianza de Aleatorio Demencia will abide by Los Pollos Hermanos' wishes. Should the Alianza de Aleatorio Demencia become involved in a conflict, Los Pollos Hermanos is not under obligation to become involved, but are encouraged to assist however they feel they can. Prueba III: Inteligencia Los Pollos Hermanos agrees to keep the Alianza de Aleatorio Demencia updated with their current & future intentions. More specifically they agree to notify the Alianza de Aleatorio Demencia of any agreements or wars they plan to partake in at least 72 hours ahead of time. Prueba IV: Florida Viva La Florida! Prueba V: Burritos The treaty will remain in place for as long as deemed necessary. Either party may cancel this treaty when they wish, but must notify the other signatory 48 hours prior to publicly announcing the cancellation. During those 48 hours, the treaty is still considered in effect. Upon the public posting of dissolution, the treaty is void. This obligation may be waived at the agreement of both parties or if Prueba III is broken. I think that CN is moving in a positive direction. We are getting past the post-Karma order and ideology of "stability" and moving towards chaos. I think that chaos is good for CN because the current order makes the game stagnant, but the order that Doomsphere (if they win) promotes chaos and disorder, which is why I believe that I am fighting on the right side, unlike previous wars where it was always wishy-washy. Why do you think there is more activity in CN during times of war? Simple: the more conflict there is in CN, the more people want to play. The terrible system of one-two wars a year sucks, and I believe that CN should be in a constant state of strife and conflict. There should be hegemonies, yes, but hegemonies should work towards keeping CN as chaotic as possible, much like pre-Karma NPO did.

Greetings believers and heretics, The Holy Realm of the Cactuar - the Random Insanity Alliance - is pleased to announce our newest government . You may find it very similar to the old government but we assure you that elections were conducted in a fair and democratic manner. For the position of Triumvir was up for election. Shadow announced his intention to re-run and he easily won re-election with 100% of the votes. There were some whispers of it being rigged after some noticed that all 5 options on the poll were in fact all Shadow. Thus Shadow is re-elected to serve his 13th 6th month term. Shadow has served as Triumvir for over 5 years now - since August 10, 2008. For Head of Foreign Affairs, we had a race between robot & creator with RIA FA Bot running against brian. RIA FA Bot is RIA's irc chat bot that hangs out in #RIA. He was elected as HoFA with 84.6% of the votes to brian's 15.4%. brian will likely continue to represent him as HoFA as RIA FA Bot is a bot. For Head of Internal Affairs, we saw a penguin running against Croix. Croix was harshly defeated by the penguin who won with 66.7% of the vote. As the penguin soon ran off and cannot perform his duties, it was decided that Croix may retain the position. For Head of Economics this term, nobody filed their forms to run in time so the election gave two options of 're-electe Mogar anyway' which won with 70% of the votes and 'draft someone else' which lost with 30% of the votes. Thus either Mogar will be re-elected if he feels like it or cctmsp13, Viceroy and one of the longest serving and best HoEs in the RIA, announced he'd be willing to re-take the position. Thus one of them will be HoE once we get around to figuring it out. For Head of Recruitment, was saw a herd of llamas defeat dester with 69.2% of the votes. However, they were disqualified due to not being a individual but a herd. We hope the members of the herd decide to participate in future elections individually For Head of Military Operations, we were too distracted by the ongoing war that we actually completely forgot to hold an election for it. However as the only one who ran was biofantic, he'll be re-elected automatically. For Captain Planet, we saw a race between Baldr and Meatkin Pie. Baldr was elected with 76.9% of the vote. He gained popularity due to the Baldr War and the environmental protection gained from the destruction of technology which occurred from the EMP Nuclear Attacks that occurred and continue to occur between the Random Insanity Alliance and the silly Doombirds. We also saw the election for a new advisor position. aithne announced her intention to run for the position of Queen of the RIA, a promotion from her previous position of HotDoG (Head of the Department of Girls). She easily won with 72.7% and thus has become the first Queen of the RIA. One other election we had was for the position of Shadow of the RIA. After a close race between Shadow, Leo, and Shadow Slayer, Leo came out ahead with 53.8% of the vote. Thus Leo becomes the official Shadow of the RIA. A Wound in the Force How could you ever hope to know the threat you faced when you have never walked in the dark places of the galaxy? Faced war and death on such a scale? If you had traveled far enough, rather than waiting for the echo to reach you, perhaps you would have seen it for what it was. There is a place in the galaxy where the dark side of the Force runs strong. It is something of the Sith, but it was fueled by war. It corrupts all that walks on its surface, drowns them in the power of the dark side— -- it corrupts all life. And it feeds on death. Episode VII: This Echo Travels in the Places Where Death Has Walked, Where Planets Have Died. Massacres Fuel Its Power, the Death of Life Fuels It. The undersigned alliances, in recognition of our friendship, common values and interests and in pursuit of our collective security, strength, and prosperity, enter into this agreement in furtherance of those goals. Furthermore, the signatories commit themselves to upholding the obligations they freely undertake by signing this treaty. Episode VIII: It Is Our Goal To Be Stronger, To Achieve Our Potential and Not Rest Upon Our Laurels. We Are The Seekers, Not The Shepherds. Both parties agree to enter into a state of non aggression with one another for the entire duration of these accords and agree to never conspire or commit acts of espionage against one another. Both parties agree to never give any form of aid or assistance to an alliance or individual that a signatory of this treaty is militarily engaged with. Episode IX: To Say That The Force Works In Mysterious Ways Is To Admit One's Ignorance, For Any Mystery Can Be Solved Through The Application of Knowledge and Unrelenting Effort. Darkness is a Friend, an Ally. Darkness Allows Us To Understand Others, To See What They Value When They Believe No One Else Is Looking. It Allows Us To Be Honest With Ourselves, To Express Those Values That We Would Disavow in the Light. The Light Blinds Us. In the interests of proactive defense, both parties agree that all information critical to the defensive and strategic interests of the other will be forwarded. Episode X: Conflict Forces One To Better Oneself. It Forces Change, Growth, Adaption, Evolution… or Death. In the interests of common development and growth, both parties agree that the development and security of the other has a direct impact on the others strategic interests, and as such a direct attack on one signatory shall be considered a direct attack upon the other and will warrant a proper response as agreed upon by the signatories, be it diplomatic assistance, foreign aid, or a defensive war. In the event that one signatory comes under attack through providing military support to another ally engaged, said signatory is not considered to be in a defensive war, and the response of the other signatory is highly encouraged but not required. The signatories shall each endeavor to avoid placing the other in a situation in which this treaty shall come into conflict with any other current or future treaty signed by that signatory. In the unfortunate event that this is not possible and outside treaty obligations force the signatories into a situation in which they would occupy opposing positions in a larger conflict, the signatories shall work hard to respect the others position and neither signatory will take up arms against the other. Episode XI: Without Strife, the Victory Has No Meaning. Without Strife, One Does Not Advance. Without Strife, There is Only Stagnation. In the event that a signatory declares an offensive war, they may request assistance from the other provided they give notice at least 24 hours in advance. Assistance is not required from the other signatory in this situation, but is highly encouraged. Episode XII: The Dark Side Clouds Everything. Impossible To See, The Future Is. Recognizing that our interests may not always converge, the parties agree to being able to cancel this pact in its entirety with 72 hours notice. During these 72 hours, it is still considered active. It is mine and RIA's pleasure to announce the following new maroon-wide economic, senate, and anti-aggression treaty. Despite the differences and past conflicts of the various alliances currently calling maroon home, we have all come to recognize that it is better for us to all strive to be one big happy family and thus each of us voluntarily join into the following accords: One Big Happy Family Accords Preamble It is recognized that Maroon alliances are a markedly diverse amalgamation of alliances with a wide ranging set of ideals and beliefs. Because of this, it must be reinforced that all signatory alliances retain sovereignty and are distinct from the collective as represented by this treaty. One Big Happy Family The free trade of resources, money, & technology between members of the family are encouraged to the benefit the sphere as well as each other. Family members and their respective members agree to remain civil to each other at all times, especially in public forums. Furthermore, they agree to resolve all conflicts with other family members through the use of diplomacy and affirm their dedication to avoiding conflict within Maroon. No signatory alliance shall raise arms against a fellow signatory. This agreement does not, however, supersede the activation of any mutual defense clauses within any other agreements that a signatory may hold. Maroon Senate Signatories who retain senate seats, referred to hereafter as Senatorial Alliances, agree to abide by the following guidelines for senate usage. No Senatorial Alliance shall place sanctions, either trade or aid, upon the nations of another signatory alliance. Senatorial Alliances are encouraged to provide fair use of their senate powers to those signatory alliances which do not have senators of their own, where fair use is defined as any request which the Senatorial Alliance determines does not in some way conflict with any other official agreements. Senatorial Alliances also agree to work with other signatories towards a consensus on all team wide events prior to voting. Should a Senatorial Alliance choose to leave the family, they pledge to continue to honor the contents of this section until the end of their current senate term. Amendments The family members may amend these accords with the agreement of every other member of the family. Joining the Family Alliances with over 50% of their membership on maroon may announce their intention to join to a family member at any time. That family member shall bring up a discussion to the others regarding the potential entry. A vote shall be held and at least 75% of the signatories must vote in favor for their entry to be approved. Leaving the Family Alliances wishing to leave the family should give 48 hours notice privately to each other family member before leaving. In addition, if the percentage of maroon nations in a family member drops below 50% then they are automatically considered withdrawn after 48 hours. Greetings savages, heretics, friends, and true believers, The Random Insanity Alliance recently had our bimonthly elections. This is a few days late because we have a habit of forgetting to hold elections on their regularly scheduled days so every two months they tend to be held on a different date & time. Though occasionally we do get it close to being on time. I guess this further highlights some of our insanity. Luckily Shadow tends to notice after a few days and starts them up. >_> The results are as followed... For our Triumvirate, im317 was re-elected once again. Thus our Triumvirate remains Shadow, im317, and Hyperonic. This month will also see Shadow hit his 6 year anniversary as Triumvir on August 10 (further cementing his status as someone truly crazy for sticking around in gov for so long and also the RIA for re-electing him so many times). For Head of Economics, or HoE, Ogaden was once again re-elected. For Head of Internal Affairs, or HoIA, Croix was also re-elected. For Head of Foreign Affairs, or HoFA, we see brian returning to the position after Biff Webster decided to take a break and be lazy for awhile. For Head of Military Operations, or HoMO, we see biofantic re-elected again. For Head of Recruitment, we see dester55 being elected. This will be dester's returned to gov for the first time since the end of 2008. We welcome him back and look forward to his work. For Captain Planet, we had a very tight race between Chuck Normis, Electric Mango, and ReyTheGreat. Chuck Normis barely inched one vote ahead of an almost three-way tie between them. July 23, 2006 A day which changed the world. A small band of misfits and crazy people flew from another world into this one. We called ourselves the Random Insanity Alliance. So much has happened in these past 8 years. We have had many a friend and enemy. So many members have come and gone. Those that are gone will long be remembered and those that remain or return will always be brothers. Since our founding 8 years ago, the RIA has had many flags: [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] [hr] Some facts about the RIA: * RIA originally spawned out of the Random Insanity social board on GameFAQs. * RIA's original purpose for invading Planet Bob was to help the "Red Team" (NPO) defeat the LUEnited Nations. * ~47% (28 out of 60) of our current membership has been in RIA government for at least one term in our history. * RIA is and has always been a democratic republic. Elections occur every 2 months. Long ago they used to occur every month but this changed via an amendment in early 2009 to allow more time for the Cabinet to implement longer term goals. * RIA is on its 3rd ConstRItution which has been amended 6 times since it took effect in December 2007. * RIA is currently on its Eleventh Triumvirate and prior to its establishment we had 9 single Leaders & 9 Co-Leaders . Each Triumvir serves 6 month terms with a different Triumvir up for election every 2 months. The Leader and Co-Leader in the alliance's beginnings each served 1 month terms. * RIA originally switched to a Triumvirate mainly because Delta1212, Azural, and Moth kept rotating around and defeating each other as Leader. So Delta re-wrote the ConstRItution for the RIA to have 3 leaders instead of 1. * RIA's longest serving Triumvir and government member is Shadow who took office on August 10, 2008 and has been re-elected ever since. * RIA is currently on its 62nd Cabinet. Our Cabinet consists of 5 members each in charge of a different department: Foreign Affairs, Internal Affairs, Military Operations, Recruitment, and Economics. Each position is up for election every 2 months. * RIA's current forums are our second forums and have existed since April 2007. They have had 358906 posts, 28813 Topic, and 4030 members since their creation. * The RIA is officially a maroon team alliance. 59/60 members of the RIA are on the maroon team. The RIA is ConstRItutionally mandated to always be on the maroon team. The part of the ConstRItution this is in can never be amended or removed from any future ConstRItution. * In the same clause as the above, it states that the RIA cannot constitutionally disband or merge into alliance unless 80% of its total membership approve of doing so in a poll of indefinite length. * RIA's original IRC channel - #RIA on esper.net - was banned after one of the early Great Moth Summonings. It is told in legends that an infidel, one of the operators of the network, attempted to shut down the great summoning and was treated with many a insult in response including an ASCII middle finger from our webmaster. In response to this, the channel and most of our active irc membership got nuked from the network. Thus expediated our migration to synIRC and eventually Coldfront where #RIA lives today after synIRC died out. * The RIA has fought in 14 wars throughout our history against a total of 35 alliances. Of those 35, only 12 are alive today. * The RIA has fought 3 alliances twice: Valhalla, Nordreich, and the Siberian Tiger Alliance. * The RIA declared the Maroon Defense Coalition, a member of The Initiative, in Great War III due to having some grievances against them but had no treaty ties to the Aegis side nor any MDP+ treaties at that time. * The RIA joined the Grand Union of Alliances for Rapport and Defense (GUARD) bloc in July 2007 only for it to collapse less then a month later. Coincidence? You decide. >_> * The RIA was declared on by the League of Extraordinary Nations and OTF Alliance in the War of the Coalition (WoTC/NoCB War) but both of those alliances later came to the RIA's defense in the Karma War. We sometimes have that effect on people. * The RIA has never taken a penny of reps in any war. The only 2 alliances that have taken reps from us, the Maroon Defense Coalition and Grand Global Alliance, are no longer in this world. Coincidence? It was the fifth time it had happened. Feeling scarcely exasperated, Cactuar attacked a ninja pumpkin, thinking it would make him feel better (but as usual, it did not). Giggling like schoolgirl, he realized that his beloved pie was missing! Immediately he called his so-called buddy, Funktuara. Cactuar had known Funktuara for (plus or minus) one million years, the majority of which were eccentric ones. Funktuara was unique. She was smart though sometimes a little... crazy. Cactuar called her anyway, for the situation was urgent. Funktuara picked up to a very glad Cactuar. Funktuara calmly assured him that most legless puppies grimace before mating, yet albino cats usually flamboyantly panic *after* mating. She had no idea what that meant; she was only concerned with distracting Cactuar. Why was Funktuara trying to distract Cactuar? Because she had snuck out from Cactuar's with the pie only six days prior. It was a exotic little pie... how could she resist? It didn't take long before Cactuar got back to the subject at hand: his pie. Funktuara sneezed. Reluctantly, Funktuara invited him over, assuring him they'd find the pie. Cactuar grabbed his hiptonicotamus and disembarked immediately. After hanging up the phone, Funktuara realized that she was in trouble. She had to find a place to hide the pie and she had to do it recklessly. She figured that if Cactuar took the giraffe, she had at least nine minutes before Cactuar would get there. But if he took the time machine? Then Funktuara would be excessively screwed. Before she could come up with any reasonable ideas, Funktuara was interrupted by eleven selsea kitten Kiwis that were lured by her pie. Funktuara turned red; 'Not again', she thought. Feeling stunned, she aggressively reached for her carrot and thoughtfully lunged towards every last one of them. Apparently this was an adequate deterrentthe discouraged critters began to scurry back toward the disease-infested jungle, squealing with discontent. She exhaled with relief. That's when she heard the time machine rolling up. It was Cactuar. As he pulled up, he felt a sense of urgency. He had had to make an unscheduled stop at Seven-Eleven to pick up a 12-pack of gerbils, so he knew he was running late. With a deft leap, Cactuar was out of the time machine and went wildly jaunting toward Funktuara's front door. Meanwhile inside, Funktuara was panicking. Not thinking, she tossed the pie into a box of dull pencils and then slid the box behind her hiptonicotamus. Funktuara was pleased but at least the pie was concealed. The doorbell rang. 'Come in,' Funktuara wildly purred. With a mighty push, Cactuar opened the door. 'Sorry for being late, but I was being chased by some pestering self-righteous samurai in a illusioned out go kart,' he lied. 'It's fine,' Funktuara assured him. Cactuar took a seat excruciatingly close to where Funktuara had hidden the pie. Funktuara shuddered trying unsuccessfully to hide her nervousness. 'Uhh, can I get you anything?' she blurted. But Cactuar was distracted. A few freaknasty minutes later, Funktuara noticed a funny-smelling look on Cactuar's face. Cactuar slowly opened his mouth to speak. '...What's that smell?' Funktuara felt a stabbing pain in her fingernail when Cactuar asked this. In a moment of disbelief, she realized that she had hidden the pie right by her oscillating fan. 'Wh-what? I don't smell anything..!' A lie. A abrasive look started to form on Cactuar's face. He turned to notice a box that seemed clearly out of place. 'Th-th-those are just my grandma's ninja stars from when she used to have pet disease-carrying chipmunks. She, uh...dropped 'em by here earlier'. Cactuar nodded with fake acknowledgment...then, before Funktuara could react, Cactuar skillfully lunged toward the box and opened it. The pie was plainly in view. Cactuar stared at Funktuara for what what must've been eleven nanoseconds. In a blinding moment of misguided bravado, Funktuara groped charismatically in Cactuar's direction, clearly desperate. Cactuar grabbed the pie and bolted for the door. It was locked. Funktuara let out a enticing chuckle. 'If only you hadn't been so protective of that thing, none of this would have happened, Cactuar,' she rebuked. Funktuara always had been a little clueless, so Cactuar knew that reconciliation was not an option; he needed to escape before Funktuara did something crazy, like... start chucking bananas at him or something. Suddenly inspired by the wise teachings of Confuscious, he gripped his pie tightly and made a dash toward the window, diving headlong through the glass panels. Funktuara looked on, blankly. 'What the hell? That seemed excessive. The other door was open, you know.' Silence from Cactuar. 'And to think, I varnished that window frame four days ago...it never ends!' Suddenly she felt a tinge of concern for Cactuar. 'Oh. You ..okay?' Still silence. Funktuara walked over to the window and looked down. Cactuar was gone. Just yonder, Cactuar was struggling to make his way through the foxy forest behind Funktuara's place. Cactuar had severely hurt his ear during the window incident, and was starting to lose strength. Another pack of feral Kiwis suddenly appeared, having caught wind of the pie. One by one they latched on to Cactuar. Already weakened from his injury, Cactuar yielded to the furry onslaught and collapsed. The last thing he saw before losing consciousness was a buzzing horde of Kiwis running off with his pie. But then the Almighty, the All Powerful, the Great One, RIctuar came down from above with His ten thousand needles and restored Cactuar's pie. Feeling exasperated, RIctuar smote the Kiwis for their injustice. Then He got in His gerbil rocket and jettisoned away with the fortitude of 200,000 hissing sloths running from a shrunken pack of man-eating capybaras. Cactuar tripped with joy when he saw this. His pie was safe. It was a good thing, too, because in four minutes his favorite TV show, 'What's new in the RIA?' , was going to come on (followed immediately by 'When man-eating capybaras meet 3-legged wallabies'). Cactuar was pleased. And so, everyone except the samurai and a few bloody glove-toting hissing sloths lived blissfully happy, forever after. tl;dr of the tl;dr In the world Cupcakery, there lived a smattering of ingredients in an encampment known as the Cupboard. It was a dark and despairing place. As drab as it was, the ingredients referred to it as their homeafter all, what else did they have? The encampment was run by the Brownies. The Brownies did not let anyone burritosunless, that is, the ingredient was Chosen. Every month or so, an ingredient would be Chosen by the Brownies leader, Cocoa, to burritos and become one with the Cakea glorious place where the ingredients believed they would find eternal bliss. Whenever the Brownies announced that they had selected another ingredient to burritos, every member of the Cupboard hoped that this time, the Brownies would choose them. Life in the Cupboard had always been like this. Everyone did what they could to help the other ingredients get by, and although they hated being in the Cupboard, it became bearable. Cupboard life was routine. Nothing ever upset the balance of their world, or caused anyone great distress. One ingredient, by the name of Vanilla, was the favorite of the ingredients. Many ingredients wondered why he had not been Chosen by the browniesthey figured that if anyone had earned it, he had. Vanilla eventually became leader of the Cupboard, and worked to create a much more bearable life for all. After many years, the day came when Vanilla was Chosen by the Brownies to become One with the Cake. Many were heartbroken to see him burritos, but no one questioned his worth. The Brownies escorted him out of the Cupboard, and the gate was firmly shut behind them. After burritos the Cupboard, Vanilla was brought to a group of other ingredients. He had never seen any of them before, which led him to suspect they had come from other encampments. They all looked excited to have been selected to become Chosen. The group was lead to a building, and each ingredient was placed in a room, and told that they had to wait in their rooms until called to become One with the Cake. As Vanilla patiently waited for his turn to come, he heard a whisper from his window. Curious, he glanced overand saw Sprinkles, an Ingredient that had been Chosen when he was still young. Vanilla leaned over the windowsill, shocked. "Why are you here? How are you not One with the Cake?" Vanilla asked. Sprinkles shushed him, and motioned for him to quickly climb through the window and join him outside the building. Puzzled, Vanilla obliged. Sprinkles then led Vanilla to a corner of the encampment, and explained to Vanilla what the Brownies were really doing. Pastrycide, he said, was the process of taking parts from all the so called Chosen and combining them to form new Brownies. A millennia ago, the Brownies had been peaceful and coexisted with the ingredients, but were a desperate and dying race. Then, Cocoa had risen up to become their leader. They began to hunt ingredients for food, and make more Brownies. When almost all the Ingredients had been hunted to near extinction and the Brownies much more numerous, Cocoa had decided that the only way to successfully continue as a race would be to farm these ingredients by creating camps. They all agreed this was necessary, and set up the camps. The lie about Cake was born. When you were Chosen, they really were going to tear you apart and simply make more Brownies, Sprinkles revealed. Vanilla was shocked. His entire life, everything he had believed about the Cake was a lie. He saw Pastrycide for what it truly was nowsomething sinister and evil. He swore to himself that he would stop it, at any cost. It was his duty, as the leader of his people. "With your strength and my knowledge, we can break into the Cupboard and unite the other ingredients in an uprising against the Brownies," Sprinkles said."To do so though, we will need the Key to the encampment, held by Cocoa." Sprinkles and Vanilla traveled to Cocoa's castle, and camped outside the walls. "I am much too old to climb these walls," Sprinkles told Vanilla. "You must do it yourself." Vanilla leapt up, and scaled the walls, entering the castle through a window. Soon he found the chest that held the Key to the encampmentsVanilla took it, and quickly returned to the window he had entered from. Cream Cheese Frosting was waiting for him though. She was beautiful, chosen by Cocoa to be his queen long ago Seeing Vanilla with the Key, she asked him "Why not stay with me here? Together we can overthrow Cocoa and take command of the Brownies. We can rule Cupcakery!" Although Cream Cheese Frosting was beautiful, Vanilla knew that beneath her physical looks, she was as sinister as Cocoa. He could not trust her. Without looking at or answering her, Vanilla dove through the window, and rushed off with Sprinkles. Together, Vanilla and Sprinkles used the Key to sneak back into the Cupboard. There, they gathered all the ingredients. The members of the Cupboard were stunned; here were two of the Chosen, who were supposed to be One with the Cake. Why were they now standing in front of them? Then Vanilla and Sprinkles told them about Pastrycide. The ingredients were skeptical at first, but then they saw it as truth. They were enraged, and decided to take action. They rose up as a group and charged the Brownies, led by Vanilla. After a long fight, more and more camps were rescued from the Brownies' hold. The Brownies were enraged, and began to push the ingredients back. Vanilla and Sprinkles found Cocoa leading the charge, and singled him out in combat. During the fighting, he struck Sprinkles downseeing this, Vanilla attacked back with renewed vigor, and vanquished Cocoa. Seeing their leader fall, the Brownies began to fall back, and flee. After many days of hard fighting, the ingredients won their freedom, albeit at great cost. There was much rejoicing, but then they askednow what? They had been given the boons of truth and freedom. The Book of Maroon Introduction The Global Order of Darkness and the Random Insanity Alliance have remained close allies since October 31, 2007. We became friends following the Unjust War and through the years we have lived through good times, bad times, controversy, power, and decline. Our relationship is one that has seen its fair share of controversy but we have endured and it was made stronger through such trials. We have watched countless friends and enemies come and go over the years but we have remained brothers. Somehow the insane party once again overcame the random party and decided to re-elect Shadow, By the Grace of Cactuar, His Glorious Excellency The Most Holy, Blessed, and Venerable Eternal Triumvir of Random Insanity and the Dominions and Territories thereunto belonging, Captain Planet Emeritus, Supreme Pontiff of the Holy Realms of the Cactuar, Defender of the Faith, Guardian of the Funk, Grand Master of the Most Noble Sovereign Military Order of Cactimus Prime, Central Commander of the Nintuar Clan, Leader and Guide of the Rivolucion, The Ultimate Lifeform, Mystic Dragon Emperor of the Cheeselands, Archduke of Disorder, Overlord of Lunacy, Puppetmaster of Chaos, etc. This re-elections marks Shadow's 13th term as Triumvir, first taking office back in August 2008, a fact which scares him sometimes... We also had the election for the 62nd Cabinet of the RIA: First, for our Head of Economics, the fine people of the RIA have decided to choose the Iron Bank of Braavos. We look forward to their work and they have appointed Ogaden as their representative. Ogaden got the position after running with the promise of "I will continue to annoy and message you should you choose to re-elect me as your HoE, in my eternal and unyielding quest to stuff as much tech into every available orifice I can get my hands into, and some that I can't." This message seems to have been strangely well received by the membership of the RIA. Head of Economics: Iron Bank of Braavos, represented by Ogaden For Head of Foreign Affairs the members of the RIA decided to stick with Biff Webster for another term. Despite once being in service to a heretical cult, he has once again accepted His Holiness Cactuar into heart and has now serves as one of his vanguards. We wish him luck in working with our friends and the approachment and conversion of heretics. The true winner was (the real, not imposter) Tywin Lannister who chose biofantic as his representative due to his busyness managing another realm. Greetings fellow disciples of the Holy Cactuar, neutrals, and heretics. I come before you all today with a most glorious announcement. The Random Insanity Alliance is proud to announce that we have once again hit three million, five thousand, four hundred, and twenty nation strength and Twelve point five score. We have reached this precious milestone numerous times over our many years in this strange world we all inhabit but this one feels just as precious as all the past times. So we shall once again be merry and relish in its majesty. Our history over the past several years has been one of hardships but we have persevered. ...Is something that is eagerly awaited by all, but I’m here today to present something new: My dearest Gentlebeans and Doolywhops, You people really know how to drag a war out for as long as possible, but today, at long last, we are able to stand here and present ourselves as a collective union. After two months of careful planning and waiting in the shadows, we have decided that now is our moment to emerge. Some interesting news stories I wish to share with you this time around. Some of you may know about them, some may not. Enjoy them anyway! The Rouge Cop In national news (U.S.A.) a former Los Angeles police officer made news headlines recently when he went on a revenge killing spree for his being fired. Among search warrants and investigating his burned out truck, the LAPD found a manifesto of what he is going to do, in the document he names specific targets of his. "This is a dangerous man" says the LAPD. While the suspect was an officer, he was trained as a S.W.A.T. sniper, when he lost his mind he had with him weapons, armor, and camping supplies. He is still at large in the area around Los Angeles and a one million dollar reward is being offered for information leading to his capture. The officer has already killed multiple people. This one kind of disturbs me folks. I can't tell you how this turns out, but I hope this guy has the rocks to not kill himself when they do find him. Then I hope they execute him in the most violent possible way, I don't like people who kill police officers. If you have any information please contact the LAPD, not just for the reward, but to help the families of his victims. The Stranded Cruise Ship Going to international news now, we head to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, where about 150 miles offshore a Carnival Cruise ship is left powerless after a fire in the engine room. The Triumph is adrift in the Gulf of Mexico about 500 miles south east of Galveston, Texas and is being tended by supply ships. Ships are moving today to pull the ship to port and make repairs. I'll be honest, I laughed when I heard this headline. Don't get me wrong, I feel a little bad for the people stranded at sea. But they are on a luxury cruise ship! As long as they are out there, might as well live it up. They will be supplied with food until tugs can come and tow them into shore, so they are not in any real danger. They are also handled by a good crew and captain, they are in no danger. The Pope Quits Pope Benedict XVI is due to resign this week citing "Advanced Age" as the cause for his retirement. This is the first time in 600 years that a pope has resigned. After Benedict's resignation on Feb. 28th, cardinals will meet to determine his successor. "Before Easter, we will have a new pope" says Rev. Federico Lombardi. Alright folks, I guess this proves that people can really quit any job out there. Pope Benedict took this job less than 10 years ago if I'm remembering correctly, and now he is resigning due to "advanced age?" Something seems wrong here. Let's hope that the next guy to hold the so called "Papal Throne" doesn't do this and lasts longer. Follow the lead of pope John Paul II and do a great job! The Blizzard of 2013 Last week, a massive blizzard raged through the northeast United States. The blizzard is the biggest on record since 1888 in the city of Boston. Schoolchildren rejoice as schools remain closed. Cleanup is underway as the city takes action to remove the snow from its streets and make travel safe again. A no travel ban was lifted across the northeast with airports and train stations opening back up. Not really anything I can say here. This caused massive problems for a lot of people, I don't like picking fun at situations like these, so I won't. Hope they recover from this quickly. Well, that is it!
