It is a backwards nation when it comes to technology and many refer to it unkindly as a 'Third World Nation'. Its citizens pay extremely high taxes and many despise their government as a result. The citizens of Imperial Muscovy work diligently to produce Furs and Coal as tradable resources for their nation. It is a very passive country when it comes to foreign affairs and has no interests in war. It believes nuclear weapons are necessary for the security of its people. Plans are on the way within Imperial Muscovy to open new rehabilitation centers across the nation and educate its citizens of the dangers of drug use. Imperial Muscovy allows its citizens to openly protest their government, even if it means violence. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Imperial Muscovy believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizen's right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. Imperial Muscovy will trade with other nations with questionable ethical treatment of their citizens but prefers to keep such trade agreements a secret. Sa'dabad Palace, Tehran General Reza Pahlavi looked around the carnage that surrounded him. To his left, there lay the bodies of several guardsmen, each shot in the head. To his right was the body of one of his own men, a sergeant who had chosen to take part in this bloody little coup. And in front of him lay the Shah, or, to be more eprecise, the former Shah. One of the General's Lieutenants stepped into the room. "General," he said, "The Palace is fully under our control. Our men are hunting down the last of the Palace Guard in the city." "Good," responded the General. "Sir, we hold the city for now, but there have been reports of some disturbances. The Savak has already broken up one potential riot, and there are looters in the suburbs. With all due respect, General, we need to address the people now, or risk loosing everything to the anarchy that is descending on the country." The General nodded, slowly. "Get everything ready for a public statement. We will also need to inform the international communtiy of our, change in government." "So then you do plan to declare yourself Shah?" asked the Lieutenant. "No. The age of Shahs is dead, and I have killed it." And with that, the Empire of Persia fell, and the bloody baptism of the Republic began. Aden – A new spending bill passed the Majlis al-Shura, which will fund modernization in the Novakian military and cities. The massive infrastructure project will seek to bring all major metropolitan cities up to modern construction standards and rebuild the capital of Aden into the Middle East’s gem. It will provide funds to local governments to improve roads in Somalia and Djibouti, as well as build a national highway system. A major feature of this system will be the Red Sea Bridge, one of the largest bridge projects in the world, which will connect the African territories with the Middle Eastern territories. The Army will be receiving upgrades in equipment, with the search for a new rifle and battle tank to begin after the President signs the bill. Army officials have argued the necessity of such upgrades to ensure the safety of the nation in light of expansions from Babylon and Great Lakes. The Air Force would also be seeing an upgrade in structure and aircraft under this bill. The Navy will be modernized with the start of a new, yet-to-be-named, destroyer. Xamar – The provincial government of Somalia has approved a medical research grant request from the Edna Adan Provincial Hospital to look into bone regeneration technology, which will focus on how to improve the quality of life of osteoporosis and degenerative bone disease patients. The grant is requesting money to begin conducting human trials on such patients to determine possible side effects from treatment and the costs associated with human treatment. The trials are set to be completed in the next year, with a continuous study being developed to determine possible long-term effects.

As Druk Yul came to form around a theocratic constitutional monarchy centered with its capitol at the religious temple of Druk Ralung, the dragons moved out of the mountains until their abode in the niches of everst could be constructed. It would take a great deal of time for the full complex to be built, though living quarters would be completed wtihin a month. Maelstrom's vision was guiding the monks to turn Everest not only into a Holy abode, but secretly also one of the most heavilly foritified structures/bunkers on the entire planet. He and his fellow Druk began to teach the people of Druk Yul as they visited the temple. Even scientists, who were wholly secular in their faith began to visit the temples.. miraculously.. they were not struck blind by the Druk. Maelstroms explanation to the monks was, "They serve me without knowing." He began to bring them up to date on modern engineering techniques with the aid of Dread Space, their pilot and several of the technicians who had traveled with them and escaped the burning inferno of their homeworld. Unfortunately, they found their ability to make progress limited to the average technological age of this planet's super powers. Manufacturing techniques and the inability to access several key manufactured elements in abundance prevented them from teaching their full technological spectrum to their visitors. ##At Druk Ralung In the meantime, the 'Druk' passed the time as they would have on their home world resting and happy in each other's company. The first night had been a challenge for Maelstrom and Koudoawaia. What he had to explain to her, was difficult. He hoped she would believe him. As they rested on their nest of cotton and cloth provided by the monks they talked... "What happened to you back there?" Koudoa spoke in soft hissing tones to her beloved. Maelstrom sighed, "It's difficult to explain, but lets just say.. I know how this universe works better than any scientist or technician who will ever live." "How" She canted her head to rest upon his shoulder. "Because I am dreaming this reality Koudoawaia.. and many in it are part of my dream.. and you will take this as hard to believe, but even you are part of that dream, based on an entity I know.. from what could be said to be another layer of reality. She is also my mate there." He whispered to her in soft tones as he stroked her jaw. "I gave you her same aspects.. a beauty of your own, a talent for the arts, a timid and gentle nature that any male would be blessed to have by his side." Koudoawaia looked incredulous, "You're saying I'm not real to you and that I'm based on someone else?" She snorted. "But if I pinch myself I feel the pain." Maelstrom smiled to her while rubbing her shoulders and letting his sii rake softly over her neck, "No.. I imagine you feeling the pain.. and you do, because there are more dreamers than besides myself.. and we have agreed upon how this world shall work, its rules, its boundaries. The standards here are.. like you.. based on another layer of reality." "Then why imagine us?" He sighed, "The layer this all is based on, is sometimes stressful. It is easier to escape away into a dream to construct one's own world and it makes things more fascinating to share that dream with others. Some awake, some not. So far as I know.. I'm the only awakened dreamer in this world." "But you were so different when we landed. Your personality has changed a lot, even your nervous ticks are somewhat different. If you've always been dreaming us, why have you changed?" She nuzzled at his jaw. "Because I was not whole. This is not the first time I have lived." He explained. "My spirit has inhabited several bodies in the past. Each one a creation of my thoughts. However, as part of the rules of this world.. I had to find a way to protect the contuinity of my presence. That is what the amulets were for. In one of my incarnations I grew immensely powerful, not personally, but in my connections. To each of my friends I gave an amulet. In each of the amulets were a part of me. When any one of the amulets come into contact with one of my avatars.. I can awaken...... if I wish to. This time I did. This world is like my old one, but it's not quite the same. The dreamers are different, the standards are tighter... better.. the governance has improved. I wanted to stay this time. He stretches with her on the mat of cloth and cotton. "Lets get some rest, we have much to dream about on the morrow.. and that's one of the unspoken rules.. every organic creature sleeps sometime.." "You have more than I to dream about it seems." She trilled amusedly, shaking her head still somehwat skeptical. They settled into deep slumber in each other's arms.

Buenos Aires – Admiral Diaz announced the creation of a planned city, named Corusca, which will serve as the new capital of the Republic. The location of this new city is at the geographic center of the nation, directly north of Cordoba. The Admiral has placed the creation of this city in the hands of his Political Council, who will oversee its development. In the press conference, Diaz stated the completion of Government Center will be completed as soon as possible and will be placed in the center of the new city. Until completion, the temporary capital will remain Buenos Aires. An artist rendition of the Center has been shared with this paper through the government’s press team. [spoiler][/spoiler] ***Semi-Private Actions*** The Southern Cone Federal Police took control of Regional and Provincial Police Forces and the Regional and National Gendarmeries, making them sub-agencies of the SCFP. The completion of the Law Enforcement Reorganization was a necessary component to solidify the power of the Military and their Civilian counterparts. Upon completion, regulations would be easily, and swiftly, enforced. The National Penitentiary System would begin reorganizing their mission to focus on rehabilitation and re-education. Criminals, and dissidents alike, must learn how to be law-abiding and productive members of society. The process by which the FPS would conduct this mission would be through skills training, labor and course-instruction. Those who are deemed unable to complete rehabilitation or re-education would be sent to their deaths in select prisons across the state. Rodrigo Peñailillo, the Minister of Interior on the Political Council, stated in a speech the Southern Cone Federal Police and Federal Penitentiary System would work hand-in-hand to ensure public safety and order was maintained during the transition to a democratic government. Technology, communication and operating procedure would integrate to provide a fuller picture of the criminal situation in the Southern Cone. ***Private Actions*** Alfredo Charme, Minister of Foreign Affairs on the Political Council, sent to the Tianxia representative to the Imperium a message requesting the transfer of administrative and protection responsibilities of South America to the Southern Cone Republic. -

Yugoslavia is an absolute Monarchy under the direct rule of the royal Petrovic family of Croatia. Currently there is no standing military force other than a basic defense force to keep order and control immigration. Currently there is no elected office in the executive branch of Yugoslavia, but the King takes direct criticism and council from his "Clerics" which represent their respective regions. The capital of Yugoslavia is in the Croatian city of Zagreb, however the royal palace is in Dvor. The royal family has direct command over the military, foreign and external affairs as well as the economy. While the king takes council on all matters, he has the last say on larger decisions, while the clerics deal with the less important matters. Currently there are no diplomatic ties between Yugoslavia and any foreign entity or government, but it has been made public that talks have been opened with the Athenian Federation.
