TL;DR FTW & TTK are now friends. With this, the treaty web gets a little messier. On a personal note, I am glad we were finally able to get this finished. I have been wanting to sign a treaty with TTK for a while. Y'all are a good bunch of people and I thoroughly enjoy your company.

Today, on January 1st of this New Year, the North Atlantic Defense Coalition officially merges into the Alliance of the Templar Knights. I know that many of you rejoice with the crumble of a dead alliance, but in her time here on Bob, NADC did a great many things, even if some of them were just getting rolled. NADC was my home for over 5 years, the only alliance I’ve ever had the pleasure of joining. When I first took a leadership position at NADC, I had envisioned things of grandeur, a rebirth of the alliance I called home. Reality had a different plan and over the past 2-ish years, I had to slowly, stubbornly, face that reality. That brings us to today. This event is something that has been in the works for quite some time now, and I am relieved to finally see it done. Any members of NADC who remain in the alliance are protected by TTK and the rest are joining TTK. Those who remain in NADC not only are protected by TTK, but are considered members of TTK. This could not have been accomplished without the help and guidance of a great number of people, not the least of which is Mandystalin of TTK, who worked tireless with me to help ensure this transition was a smooth one. Fen of SUN and Lowsten of Argent also had their roles to play, offering advice and encouragement along the road, and to them I am grateful. I still have a role to play in my new home here at TTK, who have graciously offered me the FA position here. Whether or not that is a curse I’ve yet to discover. The Randomly Insane Treaty of Mutual Knighthood OR "Yet more paper..." The alliances the Random Insanity Alliance (RIA) and The Templar Knights (TTK) hereby declare that since we have known each other forever… that will officially continue. NG-TTK NON-AGGRESSION PACT This pact of non-aggression is made on this, the 22nd of February, 2018 by and between Non-Grata and The Templar Knights for the duration of six months. Whereas both parties desire to enter into this agreement, the terms are as follows: Article 1: Neither alliance will commence any acts of hostility or espionage towards the other. Article 2: Should a member of either alliance be caught in acts of espionage or hostility towards the other alliance, an official statement and reparations will be required within 48 hours of the alliance being notified. The hostile member must be punished by their alliance, in accordance with the constitution and laws of the member’s alliance, within 32 hours of the official statement. Neither alliance shall provide aid of any form (military, intelligence, finance or technology) to a known enemy of the other, if this should happen then a greater amount of aid must be given to the non-offending alliance within 48 hours. Article 3: Should either alliance come under attack, neither alliance is not obliged to provide any sort of aid. Article 4: As a sign of good faith, both participants are encouraged to provide regular updates to each other regarding major changes to foreign relations, internal events, or members. Article 5: In cases where there is the apparent disregard of the articles of this NAP, either alliance may request an official statement be made within 24 hours stating the valid reasons for such actions (requiring proof) with the allowance that the alliance in breach of this agreement is to pay fair reparations. Only after pursuing these steps, and having been rebuffed, this pact can be broken immediately. Article 6: This pact constitutes the entire understanding between both alliances and supersedes all prior pacts, treaties, and negotiations. Preamble The Alpha Wolves and the Templar Knights, in the spirit of friendship and cooperation, agree to uphold the articles of the Mutual Defense and Optional Aggression Pact outlined herein. Article I: Sovereignty Knights agree not to meddle in how the Wolves run the pack, and the Wolves agree not to stick their noises in on how the Knights command their forces. Article II: Non-aggression Wolves will not fight with the knights or send in a sneaky wolf to spy on any knight; in turn the knights will not draw their swords against a Wolf and send a Knight into the pack in a wolf disguise. Article III: Aid and Financial Transactions When times are harsh and either alliance is in need, Wolves and Knights should send aid to each other. Article IV: Defense If the Knights are attacked by other forces the Wolves shall assist the knights in battle if requested, this could include Knights riding into battle on Wolves to defeat any enemy. If Wolves are attacked by another pack the Knights shall assist the wolves in overcoming their enemies, this could include the Wolves riding into battle on Knights even though it may look ridiculous. Article V: Optional Aggression Should the Knights or the Wolves plan an attack, either alliance could be asked to assist in the battle, but can always say good luck with that! Aevum declares war on The Templar Knights, honoring Non Grata's request we assist them & Oculus against against those known to be plotting against them. The Templar Knights also knowingly harbored Gh0s7, as he convinced others to place frivolous sanctions on Aevum; which TTK was fine with when notified; yet didn't care and knowingly allowed him to continue plotting hostile actions against both Aevum and our allies from their alliance. We will fight alongside Oculus to see this war through to its conclusion and should the war expand; we may expand our involvement to assist Oculus on any front they may request it.

1. The alliances TTK, RIA, CRAP, SUN, NADC, Invicta, OG and Legion agree to peace with the M3D/Oculus coalition consisting of the alliances of NG, NoR, TLR, NPO, IRON, Umbrella, ODN, VE, NpO, DT, GATO, NATO, SLAP, GLoF, COBRA and The A-Team. 2. No further wars are to be declared by either side as of the posting of this announcement, existing wars may be ended at the discretion of the nation rulers in question. Any wars declared after this agreement shall result in reparations. Exceptions are made to this in clause #6. 3. TTK, RIA and CRAP agree not to provide support to more than one candidate *between them* per election in the Maroon senate. The need for this term shall be reviewed after a period of six months. 4. An open letter to Non Grata Dear NG, We are glad you were able to put together this Bloc to take down the alliances of CRAP and GOD, with a combined NS of 2.6 million, compared with your own 5 million NS, Nordreich’s 4.6 million NS, and TLR’s 2.7 million NS. However we’re slightly confused, the treaty of M3D seems to effectively act as a DoW on the entirety of Maroon, yet strangely enough TTK was absent form the declaration of war. This is especially strange given the number of occasions on which your members have expressed distaste or contempt for us. You have declared war on the inactive, unprepared, and unconnected, but we would say we are the ones you most want to fight, although it seems you are unable to declare on us directly due to some crippling cowardice. Perhaps you want us to run headfirst into the jaws of Oculus, or perhaps you do not wish to offend those who may be somewhat sympathetic to us. Maybe you just wanted to test us, and call us cowards should we not do as you intend. So we will make this simple; if you want to fight us, come and fight us, no need to involve inactive AAs that are mostly a means to an end for you. No allies, no ghosting, #19 on #23, 1 on 1. Following a minor dispute on the Maroon senate a few days ago, presumably regarding the “Pro peace” proposal, the leaders of TTK and RIA received these messages: As the remaining signatories are all either allied to one another, or essentially no longer exist as alliances, we are hereby announcing that “One Big Happy Family Accords” is considered defunct. We are not certain as to why the cancellation was necessary but are open to communication between our respective alliances to solve any misunderstanding that might exist, OBHFA had allowed for over 2 years of a peaceful maroon. We hope to continue good and amicable relations despite this cancellation. Light of the World Preamble The Templar Knights and the State of Unified Nations, hereinafter referred to as the signatories, pledge to uphold the articles of the Optional Defense Pact outlined herein. Article I: Sovereignty In recognition of each other's sovereignty, which shall not be infringed, the signatories agree that they shall not interfere in the internal and external affairs of one another. Article II: Non-Aggression The signatories will hereafter refrain from all forms of hostile activity and aggression against each other, such as conspiring/committing espionage and the use of military force. Article III: Intelligence Should either signatory come upon intelligence which pertains to the safety or stability of the other, they are required to share this intelligence with their co-signatory. Article IV: Aid and Financial Transactions The signatories are encouraged, but not obligated, to engage in financial transactions to their mutual benefit and to assist each other financially in times of need. Article V: Optional Defense If one signatory comes under assault from a hostile alliance, they may ask the other for military aid. The other signatory has the option of giving military aid and assistance. If either signatory intends to undertake aggressive military action against a third-party, it shall communicate this information to the other promptly. The other is not obliged to provide military support during aggressive military actions. Article VI: Cancellation Once ratified by the signatories, this pact shall have full effect. Should either alliance wish to cancel this pact, the signatories shall conduct good-faith negotiations to resolve differences and subsequently provide a 72-hour notification to the other signatory before the pact can be considered void.
