  1. OOC note: Work In Progess, If you would like to be added sooner, start a convo with me, I would like to give everyone the ability to make their own rationalizations, My nation is similar to the United States IRL for a basis of opinions, as such the rating contained in this report will slightly reflect my own nations bias. :Classified Report; Only 6 copies of this report exist, all in the hands of the top government officials of the Imperium: Tokyo University has created a study of the freedom level of the nations of the planet, grading political, economic, social and religious freedoms. North America: Alaska - Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Cascadia Political - C, Absolute Monarchy with the ability to elect local leaders. Economic - A, Cascadians have economic freedoms on the same level as Imperium Citizens. Social - A, Cascadians have no censorship, and are free to do as they please besides traditional crimes. Religious - C, Freedom of religion, but the state is heavily biased against anyone non atheists. Plains Federation Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Federation of the Atlantic Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Palaven Empire Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Tikal Political - C, Tikalians are generally free so long as they are not extremist or openly against the state, there is however a heavy emphasis upon confirming to the "standard", political change in Tikal is very unlikely in the near future. Economic - D, Only Tikalians may own businesses in the nation. State-regulations are common and for Japanese standards, quite harsh, there is some level of economic freedoms but nowhere near the level that exists elsewhere. Social - E, There appears to be one train of thought taught in schools, and heavily encouraged by the state, not adhering to the government's 'you're born with certain special talents, find and cultivate them' social theory is gonna get the average citizen shunned out of society quickly. Religious - D, Religious Freedom is allowed, but other than the Popol Vuh, none may proselytise, there appears to be a social and state created bias against any other religion. United States of America Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Free America Political - Economic - Social - Religious - South America: Auroran Republic Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Tawantinsuyu Political - Economic - Social - Religious - French Guiana Political - B, The people of French Guiana have the right to elect both the President and members of Congress within their respected provinces. They have basic civil rights and the government rarely interferes with their lives. Economic - C, Most of the economy in French Guiana is operated by the private sector, oil drilling off the coast, lumber companies in the south and manufacturing plants in the Central region make up most of the economy of the country. Tourism plays its part but only during the spring and summer does it make an impact. Social - A, The people of French Guiana are free to live their lives however they wish as long as it is within reason, due to the large French population many simply call themselves French and feel a connection to France. censorship is reasonable, healthcare isn't support by the state and the SDF's regular patrols make the military presence obvious Religious - B, Most French Guianese are Christian divided by Protestants or Catholics. There's no inhibited laws toward any particular religion and most are welcomed in French Guiana. Europe: The Third French Empire Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Northlands Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Italy Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Yugoslavia Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Sweden Political - Economic - Social - Religious - Alvonia Political - D, Election of local officials like mayor and sherrif, but anything higher than the district is appointed by the federal government Economic - C-, Corportations are mostly state-owned but some private enterprise is allowed Social - A, Abortion and same-sex marriage are legal, marijuana is legal for medical use only Religious - A, No restrictions on faith, people are not discriminated against because of their faith and any such cases are quickly dealt with by the courts. No religion is actively promoted over the other. Ubersteinia Political - D, The Tri-State Assembly is an elected body that crafts legislature, but all laws must be approved by the President-for-Life, who can only be removed by a 100% vote of the Tri-State Assembly, essentially a dictatorship. Economic - Social - C, Gay rights, Trans rights, enforced gender equality, enforced racial equality. On the other hand, television is State-owned and run by the Ministry of Education. Also, The Baltic Union uses Internal Passports. All citizens are required to carry their identification papers at all times while on public property. Visitors to the nation will in turn be required to carry their passport at all times. Religious - B, strictly secular state. As long as your practices don't infringe on any laws (i.e human sacrifice, circumcision at birth, female circumcision, all of that would be banned. Need to operate with consenting parties and so on) and remain on private property Greece Federal Republic of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Iceland Muscovy Hungary Königreich of Brandenburg Belarus Kingdom of Portugal Ireland Zapadnaya Political – B Zapadnaya has transitioned from a military dictatorship to a democratic constitution with an elected President and Prime Minister. However, the military retains significant influence in politics due to Constitutional provisions which allow the military to appoint 10 Senators and to undertake ‘necessary action to protect the secular nature of the state’. This... enhanced role of the military is generally accepted by the populace as helping to prevent a return to chaos. Economic – C The Zapadnayan economy consists of a strong private sector in direct competition with State Owned and Worker managed factories. There are strict limitations on foreign ownership of businesses in vital industries. The rights of workers are protected by various unions, though the unions are often cautious to avoid being seen as undermining the economy. Social – F, Social freedoms have advanced since the transition, but not at a rapid pace. The government still openly censors the internet and most newspapers and private TV stations practice self-censorship. While the constitution guarantees rights to citizens, it also prohibits abortion (for any reason), public displays of affection, and the wearing of fedoras or neckbeards. The government has also prohibited the playing of country, bluegrass or ‘emo’ music and empowers the Minister of Health to prohibit the sale and use of contraception for up to a year with parliamentary approval. Religious – B, Zapadnaya retains a strongly secular government and the intermingling of religion and politics is viewed with suspicion. Freedom of religion is a constitutional right and may only be restricted if that religion poses a ‘threat or danger’ to other citizens or the state. Albania Africa: The Aidennic Council of Alexandria Great Lakes Republic Political- B, The Republic has a strong democratic mechanism. Citizens are allowed to vote, it's a multi-party system, but the military still has a strong influence on things, notably with the rise of General Akinyi to Queen Akinyi. The military doesn't tend to intervene in domestic politics, however. Economic- C The Republic has strong controls on industry, so as to preserve the rights of the labour force, as well as to maintain the ecological integrity of the nation). Social- A, the Republic doesn't involve itself in the social lives of its citizens, so long as they're not going out and committing traditional crimes, (stealing, murder, etc.) Religious- A officially secular, the state takes no hand in anything based on religion. Dominion of the Severed Hand Asia: Imperium of Japan Political - A, Constitutional Monarchy, allows for the citizens of the Imperium to have most control of their futures and laws, Her Imperial Majesty has the ability to veto and create laws by herself but has not abused this power. Economic - A, Imperium Citizens have total economic freedom to create their own businesses or work for others, the state prevents monopolies and protects consumers from corporate crimes, as well as ensures product safety. Social - A, Censorship is minimal, internet television and other forms of media are privately controlled with little state interaction. gender and ethnic equality are core tenants of the Imperium. Religious - A, Freedom of religion is encouraged, and the Imperium is a secular society, while Shinto is the religion of the Home Islands, there has not been any push towards spreading the religion amongst citizens. Principality of Shanghai New Zealand The Babylonian Empire Political - C, They enjoy all freedoms and opportunities so long as it is not extremist in nature or harmful towards other citizens. Economic - D, heavy industry based around petrochemicals and the military industral complex. Ship building and military hardware specialists due to the industrial capacity. Social - B, all education, healthcare, social welfare programs etc etc, are all government funded and maintained to a high degree Religious - A, 90% of the population prescribes to ‘the faith’, which is the worship of the God Emperor. However, this is not a forced requirement and simply something people do of their own free will. There is freedom of religion for all other beliefs, and are protected in Imperial Law alongside the faith, making hate crimes against other religions a crime punishable by a jail term. Union of the Southern Cross The Raj Dragonisia Political - B, Economic - A, little government interference with the economy except to prevent consumer exploitation. Social - A, People are welcome to think as they please so long as they are not violent, schools and instututions are mostly free but work with state and industry to help with work-force integration. People are mostly free, but security is tighter than some nations, making for slight inconveniences when crossing the border or conducting finances with hostile states. Religious - A, No freedoms are inihibited in regards to worship or assembly. Macau Democratic People's Republic of Guanwai

  3. As most of you know by now, I was banned for the Sins of the Cyberverse, I spent much time in the other realm, until I was needed upon Planet Bob once more, when my father saw that the world did not atone for their sins, indeed, they had forgotten my sacrifice. I was reborn anew, and given new life to spread the holy word. I have neglected my duties as the one true Son of Admin, and I will atone for my transgressions today. As Mogus Christ, Son of Admin and Prophet of Adminism, I make this proclamation. I requite Twelve Disciples to be chosen to become the first Congress of Cardinals of the Church of Admin. The Twelve Cardinals will vote amongst themselves to elect the first pope of the Holy Church of Admin. This is my message, heed my word Planet Bob, or perish under the holy admin bombs. The holy commandments are as follows: More announcements shall be forthcoming from the Church of Admin once we have elected a pope.
  4. OOC: I totally may not follow how the vote goes and reserve the right to change it as I see fit. LDP is the current ruling party. Also, 650 seats upper house, 400 seats lower house. Liberal Democratic Party - The ideology of LDP is similar to the prefall United States Republican Party. While pursuing policies of free-trade/market competition, the ideology of cooperation is respected as well. However, the LDP has not espoused a well-defined, unified ideology or political philosophy, due to its long term regimes. Its members hold a variety of positions that could be broadly defined as being to the right of the opposition parties. The LDP traditionally identified itself with a number of general goals: rapid, export-based economic growth; close cooperation with the Imperium's allies in foreign and defense policies; Supports the expansion of the Imperium with willing participants. The Democratic Party - Democratic Centrism pursues the following five goals. 1) Transparent, just and fair society; The Democratic Party seek to build a society governed with rules which are transparent, just and fair. 2) Free market and inclusive society; While the party argue that the free market system should "permeate" economic life, they also aim for an inclusive society which guarantees security, safety, and fair and equal opportunity for each individual. 3) Decentralized and participatory society; The party intend to devolve the centralized government powers to citizens, markets, and local governments so that people of all backgrounds can participate in decision-making. 4) Compliance with the three constitutional principles; The Democratic Party proclaim to hold the values in the meaning of the constitution to "embody the fundamental principles of the Constitution": popular sovereignty, respect for fundamental human rights, and pacifism. 5) International relations based on self-reliance and mutual coexistence: As a member of the global community, the party seek to establish Japan's international relations in the fraternal spirit of self-reliance and mutual coexistence to restore the world's trust in the country. Japanese Communist Party - One of the JCP's main objectives is to make Japan a non-aligned and neutral country, in accordance with its principles of self-determination and national sovereignty. With regards to Japan's own military forces, the JCP's current policy is that it is not principally opposed to its existence, but that it will seek to abolish it in the long term, international situation permitting. The JCP also opposes possession of nuclear weapons by any country or the concept of military blocs. Regarding the resolution of disputes, it argues that priority must be given to peaceful means through negotiations, not to military solutions. The JCP advocates that Japan issue further apologies for its actions during World War II and has condemned prime-ministerial visits to Yasukuni Shrine. In the 1930s, while the JCP was still illegal, it was the only political party to actively oppose Japan's war with China and World War II. The JCP has traditionally been opposed to the existence of the Imperial House since the pre-war days. it is also against Japan's use of its national flag and national anthem which it sees as a relic of Japan's militarist past. Rikken Seiyūkai - The party promotes big government and large-scale public spending. It often opposes social reforms and it supports bureaucratic control and militarism. Rikken Seiyūkai promotes giving additional powers to the Throne, and wishes to further expansion by any means necessary. Social Democratic Party - An incredibly socialist party, the SDP's primary goals are: Advocate a significant increase in the scope of social welfare, such as healthcare, pensions, social security and disability care. Opposition to neoliberalism and neoconservatism. Complete disarmament of Japan in accordance with pacifist principles. The Imperium Military will be replaced with a force dedicated to disaster relief and foreign aid. Introduction of an environment (carbon) tax. Significant increase in the scope of wildlife protection legislation, increasing the number of protected species and setting up of protection zones. Transition from a mass-production / mass-consumption society to a sustainable society in coexistence with nature. Clampdown on harmful chemicals, e.g., restriction on use of agricultural chemicals, ban on asbestos, tackling dioxin and soil pollutants. Increased investment in public transport, encouraging a switch from road to rail, and from petrol powered buses to hybrids, electric vehicles and Light rail transit. Opposition to nuclear power, and proposes a gradual switch to wind energy as the nation's base energy source. Abolition of the death penalty. Opposition to privatisation of water.
  5. The Mitsubishi SonicStar would arrive a few days later, containing the Empress, Osamu Saito, Imperium's MoFA, as well as two bodyguards and two of the Empress's private staff.
  6. :Private: "Are you sure you want to do this?" "Have to, no other way we can live on the surface without fear." "Don't say I forced you into it." "Well technically I don't get much of a choice, It's what I am here for." "I always did make effective arguments." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Secure Message would be sent to Athens, bounced off multiple satellites from a dozen different nations, originally sent from a tor network which keeps no logs, should a tracing attempt be made, the original IP using the most advanced tracking technology would appear to be Drakan in Origin.
  7. The fall of the Empire came as a joyous occasion to Ryloth, the Empire having abused Twi'leks and used them for slave labor. Unfortunately this left the galaxy in chaos and celebration quickly returned back to focusing upon recovery. A small civil war occurred just after the news of Endor had reached Ryloth, killing thousands but removing the taint of those who once sold their kind into slavery. Twi'lek ingenuity set out to turn Ryloth into a planet worth of being a capital of a new empire, where all races are treated as equals. A total of four Gladiator-class Star Destroyers, and a rare Venator-class Star Destroyer made up the original fleet of Ryloth, the show of force against smuggler's run quickly making for an agreement that Ryloth would turn a blind eye to piracy and smuggling that did not affect Ryloth's business. The addition of Smuggler's run and explorations amongst the surrounding star systems added other craft to the Twi'lek fleet, including Longprow attack cruisers, a few Pirate motherships, and over a hundred assorted small craft. The Star Destroyers used a mix of Imperial and Rebel equipment for star fighters, scavenging whatever they could from everywhere, Not having their own ship yards would be one of the first things that would need to be corrected. Spreading out the species was another priority, and the planets Wxtm and Wrea were in the immediate area, quickly being populated by Twi'leks and the occasional Jawa, having immigrated to Ryloth previously. these new planets would serve as a good base for raw materials, but they would focus on setting up proper towns before worrying about exploiting the resources.
  8. OOC: 4 months of writing to rebuild 3 months of work, or rerolling, hrm.... The White Death had massacred Thailand, once the plague finally ended most of the nation's cities were desolate wastelands, it took months just to burn the bodies, scattered military forces remaining gradually returned into contact with one another and formed a junta containing the last three generals left alive in the region. their goal would be to transition to another form of government, but for now the primary goal was the restoration of law and order to a land that had returned from the brink of extermination. those who were left were wary of military rule, but what other option was there? their rules had fled from the Buddhist and Islamic extremists that had over ran the lands of Siam and Peninsular Malaysia. With the plague finally eradicated, they finally turned their attention outwards, to inform the rest of the world that order had returned to Siam once more. :Public: "I am General Kittitat Adulet, a member of the National Military Council, a group that has restored order to Siam once more, we have spent months recovering from the Plague that had nearly driven our entire planet to collapse, and we have decades before we will recover the losses that have struck our once great nation, in the coming months our people will work towards discussing their political future, and as we rebuild we look forwards to selecting a government with the full approval of the people of Siam.
  9. To: Foreign Affairs Department, Imperium of Japan From: Principality of Tikal; Directorate of Diplomacy Topic: Diplomatic Relations Body: "Esteemed Osamu Saito, time has passed and events of great import have occurred. The summation of these events has shown us that Japan is a nation of integrity and honour. The Principality would thus upgrade our treaty of non-aggression and cooperation to one of mutual defence, possibly adding free trade as well. Though we do not believe that a personal meeting is necessary for this upgrade, we will pledge to aid Japan more substantially than with hospital ships and monetary donations in the wake of adding the above two clauses, if so desired." By the authority vested in me by Their Sublime Highnesses Director of Diplomacy, Clemente Marroquín Rojas Principality of Tikal
  10. OOC: Some music for this post That night, after spending most of the day with Nenetl and just enjoying the city, taking a break from the constant research or action, Mogar and Antasija lay entwined together in bed, falling asleep promptly. He heard whispers, voices surrounding him, not quite audible, he was back in the darkness, will-o'-the-wisps lighting a path through the black, disappearing as he reached each, another appearing farther along to replace it. He swore he could hear Tera's laughter in the distance. He shrugged to himself, nothing he could do but follow along the path. He walked for hours, days, months, who knew how long it really was, but it felt like forever. Finally he found a circle of the wisps, he walked into the center and called out, "Here I am, what was the point of bringing me here?" looking around into the darkness. There was no reply, the silence became overwhelming. "I know you're out there, you brought me here for a reason, just do it already!" he shouted at nothing, frustrated with the constant games lately, nothing was simple anymore. The wind howled suddenly, the wisps disappearing like candles, he turned around in circles, pitch black and the roaring wind, he felt vertigo, the entire universe was spinning, and then... nothing. He woke up feeling hot, so hot, did Antasija leave the heater on? why would she leave the heater on, she is never cold. he moved his hands to push the blankets off him, there were none, his eyes fluttered open, he wasn't in Rapture anymore. he was laying on a bed of pumice, he sat up, where the fuck was he? The sky above was a dark purple. A red giant filled the sky, a small blue star sat in orbit of the Sun, he definitely wasn't on earth anymore, he mused. Standing he looked around, he had been here before, in another life. He had talked about this earlier with Antasija.he was being sarcastic about showing her the other world, but it seemed mentioning the memories made the gods send him back here. He considered contemplating why but quickly pushed aside those thoughts, there was always a purpose, he simply had to find out why. All around him there was lava, pumice, and fire. He started up the mountain he stood upon. After a few minutes of hiking, he walked to a burning tree, just barely touched by a lava floe it had quickly caught fire, he watched the flames dance before holding out a hand towards the fire, simply an observer in his own body at the moment. The fire swirled around his hand, forming into an orb in the palm of his hand. "Whoa." is all he could sputter out, finally regaining control. he held the ball of fire in his hand watching it surge and spiral. There was a small bug looking creature, with a head like a sucker fish and wings like a butterfly, sitting on a rock near a lava floe, looking as though it was breathing in the smoke coming off the floe, he took aim and launched his fireball at the creature, watching it explode. "Well, that's a new power." he said quietly to himself, continuing up the mountain, he wondered where that came from, but none of this made sense anyway. He noticed more of the Lavalickers, as he just decided their name was. but he left them alone, no point murdering things for the sake of it. He sulked up the mountain, the lava seemed like it was coming from random spots all over the mountain, he had to walk over a burning fallen tree to get over one of the floes, finally reaching where he could go no further, a sheer cliff in front of him, there was a narrow ledge around it, leaning his back against it he sidestepped over it, slowly moving his way across, occasionally the pumice crumbling under his feet. He sighed looking down the probably thousand meters it was down to the lake of lava far under the ledge he was walking over. He continued on slowly, every step a potential death sentence, and he was way out of range of the Vita-Chambers of Rapture. He finally came to an alcove in the rock, just as he reached it the skies opened up, rain pouring down, he stood under the stone roof he had managed to reach before watching the rain pour down, highly acidic, the pumice began smoking, he sat down in the outcrop, he wasn't going anywhere, after 20 minutes he grew bored, he walked around touching the stone, when he reached the back of the outcropping the wall shimmered, placing his hand firm against the wall "Open sesame?" he muttered, the wall turning transparent. "Alright, magical walls, I had forgotten this world's laws of reality." he said shaking his head, he walked through the false wall, torches lighting on the walls as he went down a winding narrow tunnel. descending further and further into the volcano. t took him 10 minutes to reach a golden door, gleaming in the light from the magical flames of the torches. He took a deep breath and grabbed onto the handle, pushing the door open. He found himself in a gigantic room, easily 100x100 feet, a chandelier lit in the center of the room, made of what looked like dragon bones. fully half of the room was lined with book shelves. entire left side from right next to him to a massive fireplace directly across from him a large bed on that side, with two desks on either side, a pair of comfy looking chairs with a lacquered burnt wood table between them. His gaze continuing through the room, he saw a small dragon sitting in a hole in the wall to the right side of the fireplace, an alchemy lab... a sacrificial altar with Antasija on it? Mogar ran over to her the moment he realized what he was seeing, she was still breathing, he ran his hand across her cheek, before shaking her by the shoulder "Wake up Ana, Wake. Up." Antasija blearily awakes, "Ugh, why the fuck is the heater on so high?" she says before she opens her eyes and starts, almost falling off the alter as she springs up, "Wha- wh- where are we?!" she asks, practically in a panic. He took a look around the room again before answering. "I think... we're on the planet." he coughed. "Well, this afternoon, you remember how I was talking about a world I couldnt describe to you, I'd have to show you? turns out the gods actually wanted me to show you." he paused for a moment, "Wait, you're really you aren't you?" "Unless I'm a really, really well made figment of your imagination so as to have all of my memories, yeah, it's legitimately me." she says, standing on her legs, "So what happens next?" He shrugged, "This is all new to me, I remember this is where it all starts, I just don't know the story goes besides it ends with, well, alot of death and destruction." "Oh, um." she looks around nervously, "I suppose I'm going to be involved in that am I?" Smiling for a moment he looked at her "See, thats the part that is confusing me, you arent supposed to be here, so I'm not sure if this is just sort of a tour visit, or if we have to actually accomplish something here..." "Well, I guess we'll see then won't we?" she asks, standing close to him, "I'd rather not die, dream or not. Especially if it carries over." He eyed a weapon rack nearby, "How are you with a sword, or a mace? If I remember right I created alot of weapons here, magical weapons." "Swords are easier." she says, "Maces are only good for heavily armored opponents. I'm not going to have to face anyone wearing full plate am I?" she asks, "I suppose it doesn't really matter with the whole 'super human strength' deal unless they're intense." Mogar grabbed a bastard sword off the weapon rack, noticing there was a weapon missing already. That dream... was it just a dream? He handed it to her, "I would test it out, I believe that it is enchanted with frost, one of the more simple weapons I created, but I am hesitant to give you anything with chaos magicks." his memories had been flowing back into him since he returned to this place, his home for many many years. She gave it a few experimental swings, enjoying the sound of it humming through the air, "It'll do nicely." she says, heafting it a little. Mogar pointed to the alchemy lab, "Don't touch that by the way, it's all the same stuff as the previous one, I don't think you really want to accidentally turn monstery." he said sarcastically, walking across the massive room to the desks, there were papers scattered and books opened, he started reading over them. trying to figure out what the purpose of this detour through the stars was. He sighed, and the little dragon looked up a t him and sighed too, smoke coming out of its nose "I wasnt asking for your opinion." the dragon growled slightly and laid his head back down, looking a bit miffed. Antasija jumped, as if seeing the Dragon for the first time, "What the fuck is that?!" she asks hastily, pointing her sword at it a little clumsily. The dragon hurrumphed, her movements almost boring the creature. "Well, that's a dragon, he is my bro, his mother was not so nice, but I couldn't just leave him there alone, look at that face, he's a cutie." the dragon smirked at her, fangs reflecting off the firelight. "Dragon, right." Antasija lowers the sword and clears her throat, a little embarrassed at how she'd acted, "Sorry, just, never seen a dragon before. He's got a name?" "Roslarb the Insane, it's just a name though, I don't think he is actually crazy." he said with a smile, still reading over the papers in front of him, "Could you grab me a drink from other there? he pointed to a table next to the giant bed, a dozen different bottles of all different sizes filled with red and brown liquids. Antasija grabs one of the bottles of brown liquid and brings it to him with a little trepidation, "So, what are we going to do?
  11. Over the past Six months or so, this community has had a divide wider than the grand canyon in it. This is something that has been festering and growing for years, every movement the hegemony forcing wider. There are obviously two very distinct groups, a venn diagram of sorts, the more full one filled with new players and those who were destroyed in the original world, the withering one filled with those either in the hegemony or supporters of it. A few in both, straddling worlds until a resolution is made. Every single one of us is Stubborn, yes, even you. This entire game concept is about Collaboration, how much collaboration is there really though? What is the reason you RP? For me it's about good storytelling, and while it is fun to win, at what point does your own enjoyment become more important than anyone elses? that is the question every single one of us needs to ask ourselves, take a step back and ask, are you here to create or destroy? There are a few players in this community who wish to do nothing but destroy, to win, but that's sort of a catch 22 isn't it? what happens when you are left in a dying world because quite simply nobody wishes to actually RP being stomped on any further? There are numerous(most probably) players of CNRP2 who want to simply RP a storyline and not feel threatened by TSI/UN/Vektor coming in and destroying their entire nation simply out of boredom. It should be a right to every single player to be able to RP in peace, and not be forced into an so long as they are not breaking the two main rules, I personally have. 1) Intentionally being antagonistic to another nation, through IC threats or provocation 2) mass murder/genocide. I will leave this up other players to decide if anything else should be added, or better wording chosen, as one of the core tenants that I believe makes CNRP2 such a stronger community is our willingness to discuss anything and everything. we have voted and changed numerous rules, simply in the past week, I expect this to continue so long as our community is thriving. Tonight two of the more "Notorious" RPers joined our community and then instantly quit, due to the requirement of being voted in, when I asked him about it, he stated everyone should be treated equally, and I believe that is a fair opinion to have. I'm not going to sit here and ask you to come into this thread and beg Triyun, I'm asking you to come here and express your willingness to not create a nation that will behave in the same manner as Tianxia has to the dozens of RPers who are quite happy in CNRP2, You can believe that you are being persecuted if you'd like, but there's dozens of us who have been persecuted for the past 5 years due to your hegemony. TSI strangled the life out of CNRP1, and many of us are fearful you will do the same to this new creation we have all come to thoroughly enjoy, due to there not being the ever present Sword of Damocles over our heads as was in your world. You have worn this for years as a symbol of pride, you pushed someone so far they actually quit the game over your destruction of them, and it is not a unique case, perhaps after all this time you should reread it and consider how many other players have felt this level of frustration before due to your IC destruction of their nation, months or years of writing taken away simply because they are not as good at War RP as you are. I do not believe you have ever really understood your position, for the past few years you have been craving to be taken down, just like the NPO was, a challenge to your empire, but you have worn the answer to most of our frustrations in your signature all along. We never had to play in your sandbox, we're on a beach, we can go to another part of the beach and have our own party, if you would like to join us, please, show us you are willing to not be the same destructive personality you have been as Tianxia. I'm willing to listen, I'm willing to talk about the grievances you probably have with the new world, but you have to give others that same chance to air their own grievances against you, I want to fix this community, and have driven my friends from this RP up the wall crazy talking to them for the past few weeks, we can all play together, but it comes down to do you want a storyline or a hegemony? sometimes you cant have both. I take responsibility for helping cause this rift in the first place, you have had anger towards your hegemony for the past 3 years, it boiled over once when you were about to be removed from the map, I genuinely wish you could listen to those who are telling you what you are doing that is creating the tension and anger that has been spiraling and dividing our community. It is my opinion you are not a horrible person, you are just Ender, you win, completely. Please, prove to us you can play in our sandbox without going back to kicking over our sand castle.
  12. They had set up a base of operations in the new world's Tokyo, the newly extremist views that had been spreading amongst of the people of the city after the war had surprised him. The Japanese had always deified their ruler, and it was quite strange that almost every other population center had been hit but the location of the Empress went untouched. He had left Antasija at the airport to go on her own vacation for now. He needed to figure out his own issues that had begun springing up. He was far more knowledgeable at southeast Asian mythology than the Korean/Chinese/Japanese blend that thrived in Joseon, so he had secretly wished she would have come along for this trip. He mostly sat and watched the clouds and ocean fly by as they went over the Sea of Japan, his mind stuck on what had happened in Vietnam, the loss of control was surprising to him but it had been a very long time since he used the Abyssal Powers. The Book had informed him there was a few in this world who could help him learn to control the powers, he needed to desperately if he ever wanted to be able to be alone again with Antasija after their adventure to Vietnam. She had gone on a vacation to Tahiti, wanting another beach like their trip to Bangkok and always enjoyed speaking french, while he was off to fix his problem. her words echoed in his thoughts throughout the flight. "I don't know what's happening, I don't know why, but I do know that it scares me and I don't quite feel safe around you right now." He touched down in Seoul, an even larger city than previous, millions of North Koreans and Chinese having taken refuge in Seoul since the war, Joseon was growing, the North being brought up to the same high technological abilities as the South, but it was a long process and would take as long if not longer than it would take the Imperium to rebuild the home Islands. Joseon was a new nation now, but there was still some tensions. The amount of Chinese citizens had caused discontent amongst some, especially the Southern Joseonese who had very negative opinions of the Chinese since the war. Mogar passed by a girl in a Kumiho mask as he left the airport, she stared at him as their paths crossed, but by the time he had realized and turned around she was gone. Shaking his head he got into a taxi, giving the driver the address he was to head to according to the Book, it was only a corner, but he suspected he would find his way to where he needed to be, it hadn't led him astray yet. A half hour later he was dropped off and started walking to the east, looking down the alleyways until he saw one that caught his eye. He headed down the empty corridor, following the arrows, the dark one flicking on every so often. He found himself on a dark street, surrounded by neon signs. he looked up as he walked further down the road, the sky above not visible, only more neon signs. He pulled himself out of the awe inspired daze, getting his mind back focused on his goal. a stairway on his right, neon lights beckoning him inside. he walked down the narrow hallway, a maze of them, left, right, another left, another right, down and around until he came across a dark corridor with only a single red light above a door. Mogar stood there for a moment, wondering if this was really what he needed, was His lover worth making another deal with another devil? the internal battle resolved itself with a shrug, He was going to go to hell either way, might as well have an army to break out with him as well he supposed. He opened the door, feeling a cold swirl of air escape from the room, giving him a shudder, the Kumiho girl from the airport somehow stood in the center of the room facing him, the door slamming shut behind him just after he stepped into the room. Turning away from him, she asked "Could you zip me up?" in English... Not that he could see it, but there was a smile across her face.
  13. :Private: "We live in a dangerous world, and should take steps needed to keep our citizens safe, even if we were to build all the guns and tanks we could possibly arm every citizen of The City with, there are far larger empires with even more weapons than that, this may be incredibly expensive, but there won't be a single unemployed person in The City for the next decade if you pass this bill." Nico spoke to the camera in front of him, video chatting far easier to get the 6 busiest people as well as the government ministers together, not to mention safer due to each being able to use their own preferred level of security. "All in favor?" the 13 others said aye in unison. "Then let us begin transforming our city." :Public:
  14. The Empress had heard disturbing reports from the Jōhōhonbu(Defense Intelligence Headquarters), strange incidents in the Southeast Asian region since the collapse of India, attacks against villages by strange men, kidnappings were on the rise. and at the same time a strange guest was brought to the Palace... interesting times. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mogar stood looking out the open door the side of the helicopter, music blaring down upon the surrounding jungle, their first mission in this new world to pacify and locate an artifact in this world, a goblet with quite... interesting properties. shouting into the headset he wore, "You realize this is going to be war, not our usual walks in the park, right?" he said to Antasija, looking over at her."I've been shot before." Antasija shouts back, "It's not so bad until you notice. Anyone who tries to stop us has already made a fatal mistake." He laughed, "Bonnie and Clyde vs the world eh? the Imperium Intelligence suggested there may be as many as 500 infected so far, the chopper ain't bringing us straight there, they found an armory, and while we're getting paid for this, they aren't paying us in helicopters." he teased, "Plus, do you really want to walk back to Hong Kong from here?" "No, that'd be tedious." she says "I'd prefer if we didn't get shot down over the jungle anyways." Antasija put on a set of aviators, nudging the frames under the headset carefully."Looking the part there babe," he said, the sun was bright, and they needed to get this done asap. "Basically they'll be under mind control, while we dont have to kill every single one, we need to get to the chalice before they'll stop being all... zombified." "The whole situation is $%&@ed if you ask me." she says, looking out the door, her hair being blown about despite having been tightly tied, "If there's a way to get them out of the whole mind control zombification thing I'd like to make that a side objective if you don't mind." Seeing them begin to group as the chopper descended he smiled, it was going to be an exciting day. "Just gotta get the chalice and they'll go back to normal, until they drink from the cup again at least. I am still curious to how an aztec artifact ended up in Vietnam, but my curiousities are not the priority, let's get this cup, it should prove quite useful." "Ten bucks says Indiana Jones did it." she says, smiling at him, "And if getting the cup breaks the !@#$%^&*, then hell yes, that makes everything easy."Letting out a booming laugh, so loud she could hear it even without the headset, he grinned at her "Yeah, you know, just have to go through a batallion of heavily armed Vietnamese who have orders to kill anything that tries to enter the village, piece of cake." the sounds of 7.62mm automatic starting ringing out, tracers filling the sky. "looks like we're about as far as we're gonna get, see you on ground floor." he said, kissing her lips for a moment before jumping out of the chopper, the rope slipping through his gloved handds, he stopped himself a few inches from the ground, hopping off he brought up his Rifle, begining to shoot 3 rounds into the head of anyone else with a gun. Antasija grabs the rifle she'd picked and goes down the rope upside down, holding it between her legs to keep her from going too fast as she starts shooting long before she hits the ground, laying suppression for Mogar as she slides down the rope, lithely bending up to grab it in one hand to place herself on her feet as she reaches the ground."You always have to one up be, don't you?' he said over his headset walking slowly toward the worn path that they men had been coming from, most were armed simply with knifes and other blades, but he didnt expect that to last for much longer. "It's been a while since I have had to do this... since you, in fact." he commented as the river of bodies slowed to a trickle, probably realizing that sheer numbers don't work well against automatic rifles, dropped the clip and shoving another into his rifle he coked it back and looked at her. "When do you think they'll make a movie about us?" he joked. Antasija knocks her hair back behind her shoulders absently and switches her clip around, having bound a pair of them together for ease of access, "I don't suppose they'll write much of anything about us until we start telling them." she says, looking around, "You know, I feel like a cigar would really complete the look." she comments on how she'd presented herself for this mission. He patted his breast pocket "After we finish this, it should be fairly easy once we get past all these !@#$@#$ people." the path through the jungle was rather easy, it led straight to the village, the numbers almost ceased to come at them, and the ones that did looked haggerd, as though they hadn't slept in days. Stepping over the most recent one, he looked back at her "They've got to be planning something." "It doesn't seem like it from where I'm standing, but I wouldn't know a plan if it bit me on the ass." she says, looking around cautiously. He stood in the opening to the clearing that the village stood in, listening carefully he pulled a grenade from his belt, tossing it against the door of the nearest building. The ensuing explosion turned the bamboo house into splinters scatters everywhere. there were at least a dozen bodies in the remains of the house, he quickly threw another one to the house across it, men clambering out already before exploding just like their peers. "the Indy reference was apt, if it could be a trap, it most likely is." "Everything's a trap these days." she says, walking along, "Can't hardly go five feet without someone trying to trap you." Another stream of them came out of the next set of houses, a spray of bullets into their chests and heads quickly put them down. "I'm going to make the wild guess we have to get to the church in the center of town, if I were an egotistical madman that is where I'd set up camp." "Obviously, biggest building in town, you think any respectable madman would set up anywhere else?" she continues to walk, participating in putting down any enemies they might encounter. While reloading a teenaged boy came out from between two buildings, jumping onto Mogar's back and causing him to lose balance, unable to position his gun he flexed his fingers, his right hand turning dark, a small dagger appearing he stabbed the kid in the stomach, slitting his throat after pushing the teenager off him. He stood there for a moment, the dagger having disappeared but his veins in his forearm still black, senses went on overdrive, he could hear the sound of a few hundred further to the north of the village but they sounded as though they were continuing north. Remaining in the village there sounded like there were less than 20 remaining, most of that center building. His breathing became rapid and deep, staring at the large church. Antasija walks towards the building, "Come on, the faster we get that cup the less people we have to kill." she says, looking back at him with concern. He looked at her, a twisted grin upon his face, "A Vampire with a conscience, now I've seen everything." he said throatily, nowhere near his normal voice. "You kidding? More conscience than the average person can claim even." she says, rasing the rifle to her shoulder, "Wouldn't hurt a fly." He waved his hand to her, "Come here, I want to touchhhh you." She looks at him, an eyebrow arched high, "What? Mogar, are you alright? You sound different." He took a staggered step forward, hands outstretched, the rifle falling to his side, hanging off his shoulder by the strap. "I'll be just fine oncccccee I get my hands on you." the veins on his right arm had not returned to normal, clearly visible, the black standing out easily against his tanned skin. Antasija lowers her rifle and takes a step towards him, "We've not got time for..." she trails off, noticing his arm and his general mannerisms. She takes two steps back away from him, her face masked in confusion, "Are you sure?" she asks slowly. As a lone straggler ran towards them he points his hand at the guy, a bolt of darkness shooting out of his palm, hurling the zombie into the jungle. "I will make sssssure we won't be interrupted." he wheezed out. taking another step towards her. Antasija grips her rifle a bit tighter, and takes another step back, "No closer, I swear Mogar, you're creeping the $%&@ out of me right now. Cut it out." He shook his head laughing, "Sssso sssshoot then." continuing to walk towards her. She lifts the rifle to her shoulder and points it at him, "Mogar, this is creepy as nothing else, snap out of it." she says urgently, taking another step back. "I jusssst want a sssssnack, my little vampire bride has taken her ssssshare from me, but now you hold out from me?" his walking began getting a bit quicker, as though he finally remembered how to operate his legs properly again."Yeah, yeah I am." she starts to step back, keeping pace with him exactly, but all the grace in the world couldn't compensate for tripping over a rock and falling on her back, which was what happened next, "I swear to everything holy and otherwise if you take another step I'll shoot you!" she shouts at him, half hysterical. He continued walking, standing over her with a sick smile. "You won't sssshoot me, even you know that." he said, putting a hand next to her head he began crouching down, looking into her eyes, the scent of her fear enthralling him, proving to be quite the distraction. She pulls the trigger. Nothing happens but the gun clicking on empty. For a split second she looks shocked at the rifle, but then with lightning quickness she turns over to try and dart off into the forest. "$%&@ me!" He grabbed onto her ankle easily, dragging her roughly through the dirt, "You are the only meal for many miles, I can't let you sssssimply run away, I am too hungry to oblige your request though." he said tossing her back onto her back, his eyes were dark now, no longer the pale blue she recognized. Antasija scrambles for her sidearm, "Like hell I am!" she shouts defiantly, pulling the Beretta out of its holster and swinging it to face him as quickly as she could manage, which considering her condition, was almost quicker than the eye could follow. He grabbed her wrist, "Did you forget? I'm ssstronger than you now, fassster, you are going to make a fine dinner, consider it repayment for all those times you fed upon me." he tossed the gun away from them, leaning down to smell her neck, she was panicing now he could tell, and he thrived off it. "Like. Hell!" she repeats, quickly uppercutting him in the diaphragm and using his grip on her wrist to her own advantage while he was stunned, swinging to land across his back, driving her elbow into the back of his head, utilizing the momentum she'd built up in the swing. Vision blurred and went dark, he fell unconscious onto the ground, a half dozen of the remaining zombies came out to investigate the noise and charged at her, noticing he was fallen.Groans and moans were briefly cut with a "Get Her!" grunted from the crowd. She quickly grabs Mogar's own sidearm from his holster and dispatches three of the charging zombies, caving in another's face with a heavy punch and elbowing another's to oblivion before putting a bullet in the head of the last one, standing panting over the comatose body of her lover, "!@#$@#$ hell." He laid still, completely knocked out from the blows, but his arm gradually turned back to normal coloring while he lay there.
  15. The collapse of the Chinese states had allowed the Imperium to begin focusing on rebuilding and resumption of the intent to further diplomatic relations with all Pacific nations.
  16. Yoshiko Kawaguchi had inherited billions of Nuyens, her father having died in Yokohama, rather than stay in Japan she decided to flee to France. The countryside was beautiful but she wanted something more, The houses in Japan were always small, even the multimillion dollars houses were tiny compared to Western Style homes, with a near unlimited bank account Yoshiko set out to Versailles. sure it was a nice place, but she had bigger ideas in mind. Landing in Paris she set out to find herself a realtor, she had 20000 acres of Taverny to Purchase to begin her dream house.
  17. In the wake of the Oriental conflict ending suddenly with the collapse of the Chinese governments collapsing utterly, Tikal found itself in de facto control of Guam and Palau, under Martial law. Hawaii's Cultural Island Groups had laid claim to both islands and Tikal had acknowledged the claim during the conflict, but as per a treaty-agreement with Japan, control would have to be returned to Nippon. In order to clear things up, island-wide votes were held on the people's opinions. Options provided were Join Japan Join the CIG Independence Join Tikal (Joke option) On Palau, under 1% voted for #4; 8% voted for #3; 23% voted for #2; 68% voted for #1. Approximately 76% of the population eligible for voting did so. On Guam, under 1% voted for #4, 11% voted for #3, 19% voted for #2 and 69% voted for option 1. Approximately 81% of the population eligible for voting did so. Both Japan and Hawaii were informed of this result, with apologies to Hawaii. Martial law was officially lifted from the islands, and control would be transferred to the Empire of Japan. The fleets and all Tikalian troops and equipment would return home. The CIG had also claimed that Puerto Rico wished to join it. To verify this, an island-wide survey was held. Options were as follows, Stay independent Join the CIG Join Tikal (Joke option) In a massive effort, most of the population eligible to vote had been surveyed, numbering in the vicinity of 7 digits (over 1 million). The results were surprising to some, but perhaps not all. 16% of those questioned had chosen option #3. Only 3% had answered option #2. The vast majority, over 75%, had decided on option #1, staying independent. The rest were 'unsure' or said 'I don't know'. Many asked afterwards who the Cultural Island Groups even were. Apparently only a small percentage of the population even knew the organisation or had no interest in it in any way. Hawaii was informed of the results. OOC Edit: Forgot 'cnrp2' in the tags.
  18. To: Principality of Tikal; Directorate of Diplomacy From: Foreign Affairs Department, Imperium of Japan Topic: Diplomatic Relations To whom it may concern, The Imperium of Japan has risen from the ashes of the last war, and seeks formal relations with all who inhabit the Pacific Ocean, as Tikal was a historical power in the region, and as a rising one ourselves, we hope for a meeting between our nations to discuss matters of Pacific trade and stability. With great regards Minister of Foreign Affairs Osamu Saito Imperium of Japan
  19. A warm breeze filled with the scents of Tokyo crept in through the window of the Gaimusho, Osamu Saito had gotten off the phone from his 4th conference call in half as many days being badgered about getting into contact with the nations sprouting up across the world, the Manufacturing base of Japan was back, but they needed to start selling their products globally to return to the same level of success their nation once held. The first nation to ask for a meeting upon their declaration of existence was the Kingdom of Axum, and since they had recovered enough internally to begin looking outwards they made the obvious choice to begin with.
