1. Happy Birthday dude ;)

 2.
I'm still surprised you joined \m/, tbh.
We all do stupid things. I was a founder of Vox for example.
 3. I don't understand. You have personally admitted treating to alliances for survival purposes and now you post things like this? I can understand if you renounced those views but I don't believe that you have. Not only is this a terrible callout thread (because we really need more of those) but it's from one of the worst possible people to be posting it.
 4.
If i recall correctly, it was more Archons mediating the quick resolution that salvaged the position, particularly when it came to the \m/ front. You'd need to talk to the guys in \m/ and PC gov at the time about specifics, but i definitely remember a few IRC logs to that effect following the peace.
Archon knew, which is why he mediated it in the first place. As I recall it was because he was told by Polar. I was in \m/ at the time and remember the IRC channel the night we peaced out. We were also aware of TOP hitting MK during the peace brokering if memory serves.
 5.
Alternatively Polaris stabbing MK in the back by sanctioning such an act, hmm?
Except they didn't and told MK. Actions speak louder than words after all. I know it's crazy, but it's entirely possible that Grub lied to a non-ally to get an ally into a much more powerful political position. I mean the whole thing with you guys just flat out asking if you could attack an ally was stupid as hell. It would have been a masterstroke if Grub just admitted he lied instead of acting like a pompous windbag.
 6.
Why would you measure the loss in comparison to raw numbers, that makes no sense. The way I look at it, Legion will take a NS hit, but NSO will literally have almost nothing left if they don't give in.
You're joking right? You know damn well that's stupid. Rebuilding from 0 to 1 million NS is much easier than say 2 million to 4. There is hardly equal punishment being dealt, it is impossible for you to do so. The mid tier nations of Legion have much more to lose than the low tier nations of NSO. There's also the fact that NSO doesn't really care about NS and has said and acted on this on multiple occasions, which is why this situation is going on in the first place, but of course that's unimportant I guess.
 7.
No, it's not. Do you want it to be or something? I'll admit that I'm at less then full capacity given the hour of the day of the week, but from what I've browsed in the past 20 pages or so you've pushed this point quite a few times. NSO won't get just a light spanking. I promise. Better?
They're at sub 1 million NS having already been in a losing war. Even if you were to commit equal forces against Legion and NSO the best you could possibly do is a light spanking. They have very little to lose. Legion on the other hand has nearly 4 million NS.
 8. I always thought he would be the last to go. ;_;
 9. Oh come on, you aren't even trying anymore. Finally something happens that's reasonable for both fighting sides and then you have to just barge in for no good reason. If you really wanted something exciting you would go to war with each other.
 10.
No, they're not about to win. There are three ways that this can go from here: 1) Legion, or the people backing Legion, can see sense and agree to the more than reasonable offer we've repeatedly made to them and end the war now. 2) Legion can continue to act obstinate and we can continue to be indulgent of said obstinance and allow the war to continue as an even fight, needlessly losing more damage in the process. 3) Legion can continue to act obstinate and we can decide that enough is enough and bring about an end to the war through other means. Legion still has the opportunity today to walk away from this having earned some respect from a lot of people, including people in Tetris and the NSO, without needlessly causing themselves more damage. But not to "win."
This kind of foolishness is only funny when RV does it. Have it your way I guess. Even if you were forced to paying the most punitive reps Bob has ever seen, you'd probably still claim victory. In a way that's what I like about NSO, and in another it's incredibly annoying.
 11.
NSO image is as it always is. They will go to war when and with whom they please and they certainly have no problem jumping in alone agaist a much larger alliance like Legion. NSO does have pride and it is what has kept them from calling in allies from the start and having you crushed. I think it is important to keep in perspective what you have done here. You did finally stand up for yourselves. You did manage to hold off a micro alliance and two other alliances who did not do much beyond declare war and then launch about as many attacks as the micro did. So pretty much it has been you VS NSO a much much smaller alliance and thus far you have pretty much managed a draw. Now for any other alliance Legions size that would be an embarrassment, for Legion it is thing of pride. And thats fine. However all this smack talk not only makes you look foolish but it also makes others who were content to not intervene begin to push NSO to let them.
Oh please. They're proud because they're about to win a war they declared. It's hardly Legion's fault that the majority of their coalition was incompetent. I find it hilarious that one of the most even wars on Planet Bob happens and a man who used to be part of Q's command is wailing that things were unfair.
 12.
What you guys don't get is all of these "small" wars are quite blatantly picking off your allies one by one while you (and Polar for that matter) do nothing. By the time they (or we I guess) do get down to the meat of the conflict, you all will have pissed away a lot of your fringe NS. You're being played and your overall strength is being sapped and what is even worse.... is you willingly play into it. It's almost embarrassing to watch. So by all means keep letting people who could help you later get trampled.
That's what NPO used to do. It doesn't work, eventually enough people will hate you. It really all depends who can better sell the defense argument. Whoever wins that usually just wins the war.
 13.
oh em gee Look, I know you're trying really really hard to try and pin something on me, but you've got absolutely nothing to work with here, and you don't even know what you're arguing. Mogar was arguing that delta didn't do something therefore RIA didn't do it, so how that is allowing one tri to rule I've got no !@#$@#$ idea. He did nothing, not something, according to Mogar. The intricacies of how their gov system works is of no concern to me in this context. I am simply countering Mogar's proposition by pointing out that there are other gov members, and that some of those other gov members have in fact done what Mogar said Delta didn't do. I see you really want to prove that I am a bad man who should not be listened to, but surely you can come up with something a bit more compelling than this. Put all that Vox experience to use.
To be honest, the only reason I kept responding to you was because each of your posts were being condescending (like this one, which is why I am responding to it). I'm not trying to "pin" anything on you, as I don't really know who you are or really care (not that I'm saying I'm relevant or anything just that we're both irrelevant). I'm not trying to prove anything other perhaps that you understand RIA less than Mogar. Also, not doing anything is a ruling depending on the context. In this context it would be. Anyway Delta's post confirms exactly what RIA's policy is, which is what it did pages ago, which is what Mogar clarified.
 14.
You don't have to tell me GOONS policies, because i totally already know. ...but for the sake of MegaAros (incidentally, ascend ascend etc), i'd say you should explain them. He probably doesn't know what the !@#$ you're talking about.
I actually don't but that's why I am going to go look it up Edit: unless you're being tongue-in-cheek and there isn't anything to look up.
