May of '09........went by "Thegloved1" back then until sometime in '11 when I deleted.....was out for about 2 months and decided to come back.

I'm a Republican.....which means I have a job......which means I work.....about 50-60 hours a week......and since I spend so much time there......and this game doesn't require much time.....I use my work computer to check on things.

I'm at work....so yeah, I use a regular computer.

Maybe folks should set up something like a class reunion. "Welcome Sparta '09" or Welcome GPA '07", then folks who were in those AAs then could go in and lie to each other about what they've been up to over the years.....you know, like a real class reunion.

Why am I Still Here I come before the fine nations of BOB today to speak with those folks who have grown a little tired of the hum-drum live and existence here. I've been in this game since mid '09 originally under the leader name "The_gloved1". I'm currently on my 2nd nation as of '11. Personally I've grown very attached to my little nation over the years, but have grown somewhat bored with the game. For those of you out there who just can't seem to let go, come on over to "Why am I Still Here" (WISH). I'll be up front, so far it's just me and I plan on sitting in Hippie mode until I see some changes in the game or find another AA that will make the game fun again.....but until then, here I sit. For those that wish to join, you'll be on your own when it comes to defense and probably FA since most folks will probably just be sitting in PM. We have no flag (as of yet....unless someone might want to donate a flag with "WISH" on it!). What I can bring to the table is, for those that are like me, who just can't quit, once we get a few more folks, is that we can pick a team color and set up trade circles. No doubt those that want to go it "Alone" will have a tough time setting up trades and will have probably been abandoned by their former trade partners. We'll have no formal forums as things will just done over PM....no IRC, Skype or Discord crap. When you feel it's your time to move on or delete......just do it. I know the trolls will be out in force, stomping this into the mud...."Why even bother"....blah, blah, blah. I'm hoping the game might some day return to it's former glory and I really don't want to have to start over from scratch again. So there it is.....take it for what it's worth. Join....don't join....no big deal. Let the trolling begin!

Yep....I'm on my second nation.....started back in the summer of '09. So in the 6 years I've been involved with this game, I've seen it slowly decay away to the husk of the game it once was. Hel, back in '09, there was something like 20k nations, now there is what, barely 7800 and out of those, how many are doing anything more than backcollecting? I've gotten to the point wers I said screw it and am now going nuke rouge just for lulz. I'm more than likely quitting, but we'll see what happens after the wars I'm currently in. I'm sure I propably pissed offa few folks by doing what I'm doing because of their precious pixels being destroyed....but cares....it's an "F-ing" game that has lost a lot....and I mean a lot, of the fun it used to have. Will it ever change.....not if the same people who have been running since '06 are still in control. It would take someone making a new game, from scratch, to maybe drum up an real interest, but until then, this baby is on life support and the plug should probabaly be pulled soon......if for nothing more than to end the suffering.
