1. Heyo. Yours was one of the names I remembered most clearly. The alliance politics of this game were pretty fun back in the day. Shame to see it's mostly died off.
 2. Just popped on to these boards for the first time in years out of curiosity. This thread was a nostalgia trip. I was around from shortly before GW2 to mid 2012.
 3.
Like you though, NSO was more interested in public one-upmanship than a satisfactory resolution to the issue, which is why it ended the way it did.
Gods know I don't agree with Tyga on everything, but he is right here, Azaghul. As the smaller and less politically connected alliance, NSO had no choice but to go public to try and shame you guys into doing the right thing. Not to mention that after what you guys pulled, you deserved any fallout you got. A public apology to NSO would have solved everything, everybody would laud how reasonable you were to admit your mistake, etc. But I realize that I'm reviving a months old argument here, and it probably isn't the thread for it.
 4.
They do infact, they are led by Ridin High.
I thought GOONS didn't recognize AA's unless they had more than 15 people?
 5.
Ahh, the world feels so much brighter without Ivan Moldavi. Don't come back!
 6. Well that's a bummer. So long, Logan.
 7.
I'm not in NPO. Does this mean that NATO is next in line for a "preemptive strike"?
Pshh, it's possible that at some point in the future NATO may become powerful and might declare war on MK for some unknown reason. I don't see how he could justify not attacking you.
 8. The OP was some nice !@#$%^&*. Pretty obviously !@#$%^&*, but a nice effort none the less.
 9. In the same vain as KP, I can't imagine RnR's going to keep that long enough to get a sanction now that Polar gets lots of rebuilding growth. But congrats none the less.
 10.
I have always liked 'End Times War' as it describes not only the conflict but its place in CN history. This name would also set up a nice backdrop for whatever future CN has, maybe even preparing the ground for 'The Second Epoch' or some such.
Uh...what? This hasn't fundamentally changed the landscape of CN or anything. There were a couple changes, but for the most part the people who were in power before this war are even more so in power now. Yet another parallel to the noCB war.
 11.
He has been for quite a while.
Yeah, I kind of thought that might be the case. It takes me a couple announcements to notice these things.
 12. I'm sorry RIA, but that flag is awful. The point of a flag isn't to shove as much !@#$ into it as possible. This isn't Star Wars.
 13. We're tired of pretending we aren't !@#$%*in', total freaking rock stars from Mars.
 14.
PB-NpO and DH-NPO are perfect.
This. The name of this war won't be determined by this poll, it will be determined by what people use on their own. This poll isn't going to change anyone's opinion.
 15.
That and the Protect NPO At All Cost side. Tyga and Pez, How does it feel to be shown as the scheming liars you are? Would you consider it ironic at all?
To blueski, how does it feel to be shown as the mindless drone you are? Would you consider it ironic at all, given that's what your side used to accuse NPO members of?
 16.
So will you guys consider a new FA policy after the war? New allies? Moving more to the other side of the web?
Which "side" of the web do you currently consider us to be on?
 17.
All of the poll options are objectively terrible.
The first thing we've agreed on this conflict.
 18.
Yippee, your alliance is capable of passing alliances at war while you can't even war for longer than a week.
This man speaks truth.
 19.
Not for long.
Don't delude yourself.
 20.
Does Argent get any medal for making STA's number two delete in a few days? (It might not be true, but it makes for a good story)
Presumably Nomnomnom was at least at war with the nation he claims to have destroyed.
 21.
Most alliances halt recruiting, do they not? It's unfair to the new nations to have them thrust into a conflict they don't understand in a game they don't understand yet. An alliance at war simply can't properly provide for new nations, and lacking what they need they will probably quit the game. It's why neutrals generally shoot up during wars, because warring alliances tend not to recruit. Doing so is a disservice to everyone in the game.
That's not really true. Any nations in range of new nations are going to be quite new themselves, and by your own logic, not willing to go to war over issues they don't understand.
