Athens (and possibly \m/) take actions in support of Heft.

The general lesson here is that aiding rogues is only bad when they're hitting Ragnarok.

I don't know what role LegendoftheSkies plays in \m/ - possibly he's government, don't know.

He is as of their latest announcement, at least, and possibly before. Looks to be their MoFA:

v. Strip Club Manager: Conducts foreign affairs to include embassy creation and inter-alliance coordination. This Minister has the power to enlist help from the general Membership to aid in these activities. This Minister is also responsible for maintaining, overseeing and communicating with Foreign Diplomats who have been given Embassies on the \m/ forums. The Strip Club Manager is also responsible for deciding on the organization and layout of these Ministries.

What does this have to do with Heft? o_O

I believe the OP is saying that by aiding the rogue, Londo and Skies support what Heft did in aiding TENE's/RoK's rogue.

The OP is of course being sarcastic.

Hypocrites of the highest order. I guess they are trying to pick a fight. Who is RED's protector? Do they have one? Is it NPO?

They were being protected by INT I think. Or am I completely off?

A key distinction that you missed is that Ragnarok specifically told NSO that aiding the rogue would be an act of war, and they did it in spite of that.

One does not need to be told that it is an act of war. The fact that Londo and Skies prolly weren't specifically told does not mean they did not commit an act of war against RED. Heft was wrong and so is Londo and Skies.

Who protects RED? I think this will be a case of might makes right.

I believe they were protected by INT when we pulled the ARCEC stunt. I wouldn't know if they are still protected. Of coarse this is exactly the same scenario to the 6 million war.

Obligatory bagulars FTW!!!!!

Why is it not the same? Aiding a rogue is aiding a rogue. Please explain why it is not the same and give a strong argument rather than just saying it's not and doing an eye roll.

I'm not arguing the point of aiding rogues, I am arguing the OP's point about them supporting Heft. Separate scenarios that do not account to them supporting Hefts decision that day/evening.

How he ties them supporting Hefts decision when Athens/\m/ have not been given an ultimatum prior to aiding is beyond me.

I believe that RED cancelled their protectorate agreement with INT.

Note that RED cancelled it, not the other way around. Claims of their competency are sure on a rocky foundation now if they weren't already.

I think NPO protects them now.

Haven't been on IRC today. Have you asked anyone in NPO?

If NPO does protect RED Elite Defense then you can bet on this being an attempt to set up NPO. We'll just have to wait to see how this develops (if in fact NPO does protect RED).

What's your problem exactly? I've been meaning to ask this question for awhile but didn't quite know how to ask it.

What? What the hell are you talking about? If you want to chat, get me on IRC and ask me.

RED's protector or ally should probably step up to the plate for things like this. It isn't Ragnarok's fault they take their protection more seriously than whoever protects RED does.

It is Athens' and \m/'s fault that they would crap a brick if someone aided a person roguing them, but they seem to think it's funny and acceptable when the shoe is on the other foot. In fact a couple months ago \m/ had to take VE spying away their nukes sitting down so I'd think they would be a little more sober about this sort of thing.

Athens has a rogue aiding streak going.

Really? How so? Just curious. I'm not around a lot so I miss a few things here and there. :(

If you are talking about Tyler, Athens did not aid him in any way shape or form while he was doing his thing and when he was done, applied for membership back into Athens and was accepted. We wubs our tyler.
