Daytona 500!

Well, did any of you watch it? Most of you, I'm sure, gave up on it after the record-long 6 hr 22 min rain delay! Anyway, here is my recap: Things started off well for the Joe Gibbs guys and Kurt Busch, all of them leading laps. Paul Menard led at halfway, which is not necessarily a good thing, because practically no one wins leading at lap 100, if you look at the stats. Kyle Busch pulled a "Sponge-Brad", as I like to call it. He took the airgun from his pit stall and had to serve a penalty. A

Top 20 Hits of 2013 (Country, of couse!)

Hey, everyone! Glad to see you! I am doing a survey to see what you think the best songs of 2013 in country music were! Here are the rules: 1. The hits MUST BE released in 2013. For example, "Blown Away", by Carrie Underwood, was a 2012 hit. Not eligible. (Her only eligible hit would be "See You Again".) 2. The songs must be sent to me through the Messenger system on here. 3. Submit before January 15, 2014. I don't want to be at this until the end of next year! Have fun picking out your favo

And JJ goes from being 5-time to 6-time!!!!!

Well, we have our new Sprint Cup champion, my friends! It is JIMMIE JOHNSON! So, here's a basic recap of how everything went down. Denny Hamlin won the race. Really, it was a dead heat between Dale Earnhardt Jr and Matt Kenseth, with Hamlin, of course. (I feel bad for Kenseth, because not only did he lose the championship, he even came in second at the race. Ouch.) Jimmie got shoved around by everyone during restarts, and had damage when everyone was racing 5 or 6 wide during the restarts for p

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood: Best Moments

Okay. THAT was freakin' hilarious. I loved the "ObamaCare By Morning" joke. (Who wants to guess the singer and name of the song? Come on, people!) Duck Dynasty was good, and the "Why Can't We Be Friends" parody was awesome. (Kelly and Reba feuding. Aye aye aye you guys are sick!) So, anyway, tell me how you felt about all of it. Arrivederci, my friends!

The Paperclip

Today was a bit of a points shakeup, my friends! (Still waiting on "the big one", for the record.) Jeff Gordon won his first short track race since the 10/05 Martinsville race. That took him from 5th to 3rd in points. Kenseth and Johnson are still in a dead heat (no surprise), and Kevin Harvick is still at fourth. While Gordon gained two positions, the opposite happened for Kyle Busch, who traded spots with Jeff Gordon. Here are the standings as we leave Martinsville, Chase Race #7. 1. Matt Ken

CMA Awards

Okay! It's that time of year, my friends! So, this year is a pretty interesting group of nominees for the various categories. Any favorite artists you'll be rooting for? I know who I am.... But, I won't say anything. Yet.

Talladega Nights

Well, folks, Talladega really wasn't all that it cracked up to be. "Yeah, we're going to have a HUGE crash!" Not so fast, my friends. The only really major event was Austin Dillon's crash on the last lap. I was in pain watching that. It reminded me of Tony Stewart's crash. Very sad. We've had a points shakeup in the Chase! Jimmie Johnson now leads Matt Kenseth in points, with Kyle Busch in third, Kevin Harvick in fourth, and Jeff Gordon in fith. Jr. is in sixth, BTW. So, feel free to post your
