The Treaty of Friendship, Peace and Greatness

PREAMBLE

This treaty, the treaty of Friendship, Peace and Greatness promise those three things. Three things all nations need and want. Aid will come with Friendship. Prosperity will come with Peace and Greatness will be achieved by the two.

SECTION 1: Friendship

Friendship will be achieved. Not easily but it will be achieved. To achieve friendship, we must all think in a similar way. So to achieve this goal, a plan has been devised:

1. Members who sign the treaty will be divided into groups by government. The groups would be:

First group:Monarchy, Dictatorship, Totalitarian State

Second Group:Capitalist, Democracy, Federal Government, Republic

Third Group:Revolutionary State, Transitional, Anarchy

People would be divided into Aid groups. The system would match you up with 1 or 2 nations, it's your choice, which you would aid. For every 1000 nation strength you have, you would send out $5,000 to the other nation per month. In return you would recieve protection from the other nation along with 3500 soldiers sent to you following your payment to the other nation.

SECTION 2:Peace

Peace is much more diffucult to achieve. In order to achieve Peace,we must do the following:

1.Declare peace with any nation which has signed the treaty

2.Create a Peace Corps to keep peace among nations who have signed the treaty by arbitrating disputes and making fair and unbiased rulings.

3.The Peace Corps would also attempt to keep peace with nations which have not signed the treaty. If that is not posible, the nations involved would be attacked by 4 nations in the Peace Corps in a attempt to prevent new nations from becoming involved in the war.

SECTION 3: Greatness

Failure to follow through with the first two clauses in the treaty will prevent the signers of this treaty from achieving greatness. But there is one more step to get to greatness:

People who sign the treaty must stand by there ideals. In negotiations for peace with other nations, your ideals are more important than a petty negotiation. Whatever you do, do not leave your ideals.

To sign, please just state that you wish to. If you have any ideas for amendments, please send them to me.

I wrote this treaty yesterday and wanted more people to see it. To me it is brilliant and will allow nations to grow and remain part of their respective allainces so they can still get those benifits but also get the benefits of this treaty. If you have any feedback just state it.

This clearly shows you don't know the game mechanics at all.

Sending 5000$ as aid once per month is a severe hit to efficient use of aid slots. Not that the sum would be worth anything...

Also, grouping nations by their Government type? O_o Most nations swap continuously between one government and another, to gain benefits from them in different situations...

That's 5000 per 1000 nation strength,

First - pluses for thinking of something different and being creative.

However, you're going to run into problems not because of anything the treaty itself says but because individuals in alliances can't realistically sign it without potentially running into conflicts with their alliances.

You say this, "To me it is brilliant and will allow nations to grow and remain part of their respective alliances so they can still get those benefits but also get the benefits of this treaty."

The problem here is that joining an alliance doesn't involve JUST benefits, it also involves obligations and the moment those obligations (which could be anything from not being able to help someone being attacked to being told he/she must use his/her aid slots for internal alliance deals) conflict with the above treaty, the person signing it will be in a position of having to chose between the two. This will not make alliance leaders happy and will, as a result, cause drama.
