all MICRO Alliances welcome

Lord Hitchcock

Being a member of the newly formed League of Micros, I want to explain what the League of Micros is, it's a round table setting for micro alliances (friends and enemies) to come together and share their ideas of how to make the world interesting and to promote activity. It is not a bloc, it is not a treaty, and it's not enforceable. Think of it like the United Nations for Micros. The purpose of the League of Micros is to work as a community to promote our own micro world. It does not prevent micro wars, it does not stop micro wars, but it does offer sentiments on the value of the war. For example, micro wars are a healthy and fun endeavor given that one micro doesn't stomp the other into inactivity. For most micros, a round or two of wars are plenty. Having a framework in place gives both parties a voice and the other micros a responsibility to critique our own little world and encourage activity while promoting a healthy micro world. The idea is to build our own world, kicking the larger alliances out. They don't care about our involvement as much as we really shouldn't are about theirs. Micro drama is the best drama, think of it like craft beers changing the world over the conglomerate and boring budweiser beers. The cost of the League of Micros is free, and we strongly encourage you to be a part of it and help us build our own world. We are working to get a list of 'active micros' throughout planet bob and a continuously updated contact list from each alliance, to make micro involvement simple and fun.

The larger alliances have ruined their game play and we can learn from their mistakes, by developing a micro world that encourages new alliances, more frequent skirmishes, individual character development, and responsible wars, who knows, we may even have a draft challenge!

Id support this, but on a larger scale. Game has sadly devolved from respectable politics into tribal wars lite.

Of course you would day that. Because you're a big wig over 2mil NS and 50+ members elitist.

To be fair, he spends his retirement life writing B-rated blog stories and taking Zoloft. It’s a sad waste of talent when he could be forming a micro that improves the world rather than kill it with a sobbing ending to his reign.

just my 2 cents

I think some of you are misinterpreting my statement.

You said the game has devolved.

I agree.

That's the point of this here gathering of neckbeards and trolls.

We know our world is fading away. But why reminisce and wish things could go back to how they were when it's impossible. Things have changed, it's a smaller world. The Micros will inherit Planet Bob.

Instead of bringing back the old  ways or devolving into chaos, we wish to adapt.

Credit is due to Lord Hitchcock for a new idea.  So, this is more like a sports league?

it's a round table setting

We need more round tables.

My questions are:

1. How do you extricate your league from large-alliance politics? For example, the aid package from a large alliance to yours.

2. Are Knights of Ni, UCR, and LSF now considered micro-alliances?

Thank you, and good luck.

This is not that new idea we've all talked about it at some point. General Kanabis spurred people by making a new discord.

Micros need their own voice we wanna give it to them

It's theirs for the taking

It all began when a senile person in this Forum pointed out just how irrelevant the micro world is.

We, who provide cheap tech to the macros.. who attack the !@#$ tier when the big guys can't reach it, and often stay there for weeks at a time without respite.

We who make things interesting.

We extricate ourselves only from the oppression.

6/200 tech deals are oppression.

A ban on sensible raiding is oppression.

These things and many others, are the topics we discuss.

All of those alliances are micros so yes, if they so choose it, they can and will participate.

On that note; we are not an official bloc, or political platform in any sense.

We do however, encourage a "good smack" (as LH puts it) once in a while. Micros need to wake up and get their engines running, especially the older ones.

We are hoping to institute an unspoken agreement and pledge to keep micro wars under 2 weeks in duration. The latter to discourage curbstomps.

It's very enjoyable how easily words intended to rile you have done so. This doesn't make you any more relevant, though.

Excuse me, but this is our sandbox.

To answer your question, here’s an example:

micro A is tied to Polar and on the other side of the treaty web you have micro B tied to ODN.

If those two micros ever wanted to engage each other, they’d have to wait a long time, or jeopardize their treaties.

There are plenty of micros out there capable of playing with each other, and that’s what the Leauge of Micros is. It’s basically a concept of letting the micros mingle and play in their own world. And we’ve cut out all the noise in the middle.

This may sound new and trendy, but it’s how oculus operated. By going above everything else and getting rid of all the beauricratic red tape. For us micros, we just go going below everything else (except we’re not a bloc).

The Leauge of Micros is a group of Micros from all different parts of planet bob, some of them are friends and some of them are enemies. We’ve basically shared ideas of what we want in the world. For example, it seems quite agreeable that micro wars are best at around 2 weeks. Of course none of this is enforceable, but it certainly allows us to combine our interests in hopes of building a more active micro community. We want micros to engage with other micros.

Micros are way cooler anyway if you can’t tell, Hannsen’s been creeping on us with her heavy breathing.

Spotted hyenas have a highly vulnerable pack mentality that prevents them from truly taking over anything that isn't a medium-sized ungulate. Their inability to function without being a completely co-dependent group leaves them open to being easily separated and killed off. Which is how every single predator deals with them.

Striped hyenas are just useless scavengers that nobody pays attention to.
