The funniest thing about this war (Part 2)

Once again, war is in full swing. The outcome of this war seems a little more clearcut than the last global war, but as always, we have to go through the motions so we can form our grudges and get our troll on for the next six months. Before I discuss the current conflict, I want to recall what ultimately happened in the previous war. And as a sidenote: This blog entree is meant to be a follow up to my previous blog post regarding the previous global war. In the lead-up to the war there was t

The funniest thing about this war

So the war's in full swing. Only a couple surrenders so far. Both coalitions are trying to propagandize their way to victory. I'd like to take a step back a minute and break down what DH/Umbrella, is saying out there. They're trying to make the case that they've won in the upper tier. And hands down, I think Umbrella will have an upper tier victory if this war lasts only a short duration, but regardless of the war's duration, what about CnG? What about VE? They don't have Upper tiers like Umbre

Spying, CN, and Snowden

I've been semi-closely following this snowden ordeal. I don't want to make an argument about what he's done as being right or wrong. I have my own opinion on that, but that's not why I made this blog. In CN, if someone spies on your alliance. Another alliance harboring that person is an act of war. Granted, CN is not RL, but I think it puts into perspective how potentially damaging this could be for US relations with other countries. What can be worse than rogue harboring, is when a rogue goe

So I'm having this argument with some truthers..

I've been bored recently. Decided to pick a fight with some youtube nubs. I found a delicious target on the WTC's. What I've learned from truthers: Apparently, the fuel shouldn't have exploded, because the combustion temperature of jet fuel is 140F. It is not possible that temperature could have been reached, obviously. Because fuel reaches a pressure of 60psi during combustion, it couldn't have wrecked steel with a shear strength of 36,000psi. Apparently a year is too long (or too short?) a

Realism in Gaming

This has bugged me for the longest time. I just saw a promo for the new XBox one, and it reminded me how much this concept bugged me, hence the blog post. The promo (found here) says, "With Xbox One, games are so lifelike, you’ll swear they’re real. Immerse yourself in cinematic worlds with characters that are more human than ever." Realism has never, ever been a deciding factor for me in games that I've enjoyed playing. In fact, I think the more realistic games have become, the less intereste

From: Martyrdom

Source: Martyrdom I wanted to make another post about what MCRABT is saying here. It seems there's a small conflict between what TOP and IRON are saying. TOP says IRON was fine with the Umbrella treaty, and IRON is saying they had a ~neutral opinion on the treaty. Further, MCRABT doesn't feel it's his right or responsibility to press his agenda on anyone else, which further begs the question, did you really have a neutral attitude, or did you not want to put your ally in a tough position? That'
