Fen Dorbek Posted May 14, 2013 Report Share Posted May 14, 2013 Pact of Honor - to Death and to the Light Preamble Through SUN’s motto, “For Honor, For Glory, For SUN”, the State of Unified Nations acknowledges that we explicitly share the ideal of “Death Before Dishonor”. Two alliances who share the high standard of honorable thought and honorable action rightly should be interested and dedicated to the preservation of each other. As Honor is the basis of Faith and Trust, a partnership built upon such a rich ideal is built upon a solid foundation. Article I - Honor Each Other Death Before Dishonor and the State of Unified Nations agree to respect and honor the sovereign authority of the other over their respective memberships and governance. Each recognizes the cultural uniqueness of the other and pledges to support the right of their other to self-determination. Article II - Honor Courage Together Each party pledges to provide support to the other in all matters. Specifically, neither will publicly or privately insult, verbally attack or defame the other alliance or leadership. Additionally, neither party will attack, via declaration of war or espionage, or assist a 3rd party in attacking the other. Each party will provide any useful information and will not provide information harmful to the other to an outside party. SUN and DB4D will provide AID when requested to the other in any form that is mutually agreeable - militarily, financially, with planning or intelligence, or moral and spiritual support. Article III - Honor Strength Together Death Before Dishonor and the State of Unified Nations will defend each other and seek to support each other in protection of their commitments to related 3rd parties. Article IV - Honor Self-Determination All though this treaty demonstrates how SUN and DB4D share and respect the integral value of honorable conduct, each alliance is a free and sovereign entity and as such has the innate right to decide with whom they wish to associate. Therefore, this treaty may be cancelled by either party after good faith negotiations in private with the other and a 72-hour notification period.
