Article I -The Signatories will remain as two sovereign and separate entities, and agree to commit no action to compromise the sovereign rights of the other. -The Signatories shall refrain from committing acts of aggression against each other, to the inclusion of spying, scheming, sabotage, and direct aggression. Article II -Each Signatory will convey in a timely manner any and all information relevant to the security interests of the other. Article III -Should either Signatory be involved in an armed conflict, this treaty shall serve as a valid [i]casus belli[/i] for either party to enter that conflict to the other's benefit. -Should conflict be initiated against one of the Signatories, the other Signatory will pledge itself to the defense of the attacked party. Article IV -In the event that a difference arises between signatories that cannot be reconciled within a 48-hour discussion period, either party may submit notice of cancellation, after which this treaty will remain in full effect for an additional period of 72 hours. -The signatories may waive any cancellation period on mutual agreement. [/quote] There really is no case to be made for hypocrisy on the part of TPF. NPO was pre-empted by FARK, so their place in the conflict is essentially incidental rather than ideological.
